Fantastic experience: could not recommend cross road dental more! dr christine did my sure smile aligners and i have never felt more confident in my smile! she has answered any questions ive had and always made sure everything was understood. the filling she did in my front teeth matched perfectly after whitening them with the take home whitening. dr nadia also performed a surgical extraction on one of my lower wisdom teeth and she was so gentle and gave me a lot of tlc. she was always happy to check it for me whenever i had a concern as it was my first extraction ever. would also recommend dr nadia to any new or existing patients! jaymie my hygienist is so thorough and has also taken such good care of me. she’s shown me the correct flossing and brushing techniques to keep on top of my oral health. she’s also recommended great products to stabilise my gum health. i have recommend cross road dental to all my family and they also agree they get taken care of so well! extremely pleased and i will be a long term patient :)

Negative experience: Beware of bringing kids here. I took my daughter’s to get their teeth cleaned. The hygienist ignored my daughter when she wanted her to stop for a break, it took myself and the assistant raising our voices and waving in her face to make her stop. She also used so much fluoride that both girls felt sick for the rest of the day/night. Also after going here for around a decade and spending thousands on Invisalign, regular cleans, etc they wouldn’t accomodate me when I was running 15 mins (17 mins max) late for a clean and cancelled my appointment. Pretty poor considering I routinely wait 15-20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time in the waiting room.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nadia Heng has been amazing and has given advice on a longer term plan on caring for my teeth. My last procedure with her was fast, painless and basically no wait time. Can't recommend highly enough!

Negative experience: Appalling! My husband has been going Cross Rd Dental for years, so when my 14 yr old son needed 3 teeth removed in preparation for braces, we took him there. I won't mention names. Once my son was finished having his teeth removed, I was called in to the room to get literally a 1 minute care plan. My son seemed really out of it, saying weird things. I asked if he'd been given gas as pain relief but he wasn't. He had rolled gauze in both sides of his mouth which was making him uncomfortable. I went to pay at reception. My son went outside and I could see him leaving over with blood pouring out of his month. He had to spit out the gauze as it had come loose. He was clearly in distress, was feeling embarrassed and also very sore. This was his first time having teeth removed and it would have been painful. The 3 rude and uncaring girls at reception watched him though the window, not one of them moved! Not one of them offered to assist him. Not one of them suggested getting the dentist to help or replace the gauze. All they cared about was me paying. No one from my family will ever go back there!! My son needed help and it was NOT given. Appalling!!!!

Negative experience: i went there 2 years ago to do a root canal and the dentist he was really good. he put a molar band on my tooth(46) for when i am ready so i can do the crown. week ago I went there again because of toothache. the dentist I haven't met her before. First thing she asked me is why I didn't come back to do the crown. . Next she checked my teeth but it hard for me to say with teeth I sore. She tried to poked on my teeth (46),(47) but they were not that pain. when she poked on my gum it so hurt. even she knew I hurt she keep poking with the pointing tool. Then she did the x-ray. After that she gave me 2 choices are go to see root canal specialist or remove the tooth. she kept saying she can't do anything now. but she think I have to remove my tooth(46). she want me to come back to do full check up for my whole month. I ask about the x-ray that she didn't show me. she said x-ray didn't tell anything. but she believes the tooth (46)that has the band on is a problem one. Also she said tooth(47) got a small decay. so she want to put filling on there. at the end she gave me a quote for next check up cost nearly $300. I end up paying $100 that day for nothing and leaving with severe pain. A day after I went to another dentist because I can't wait anymore. My gum got really swollen. I couldn't eat. He checked and x-ray my teeth. he said I got gum infection. He showed me the x-ray. The gum infection maybe from the root or the band on the tooth(46). he said he will do gum treatment first and see how it go. if the pain comes from the gum so the treatment will help and I can keep my tooth for the crown that I has plan to do in the next 6 months. So I did asked him about the tooth(47) he gave me a proper check up and said the tooth is good no need to do any filling just keep it clean. After the gum treatment my pain is gone. Why Dr.Christine didn't know I just got a gum infection and gave me the treatment why she blamed on me and let me go home with the pain? or is she a money hungry? I dont accept apologies I want my refund back.

Very honest with their quotes and give all options, not just the expensive ones. Exceptionally good client side manner. My mouth feels the best it's felt in years after the root canal cleared the infected tooth. You can trust this team.

Negative experience: Had wisdom teeth extraction there. Was rushed to lay down on the chair, no explanation, suddenly felt 10/10 pain due to local anesthesia. Glad I'm a nurse kinda know what she was doing. Had to endure the pain untill finish of injection. Couldn't help myself but crying on the chair. Still, no explanation, she just sat there waiting. On the way back home, had to Google what to expect after wisdom teeth removal. The wound bleed for almost a day, even thinking about going to emergency. No follow up after. Maybe because it's a cheap procedure. Booked with other dentist for checking up. One more star to friendly reception.

Positive experience: I have never liked the dentist but was due for a clean and I chose to go here. Glad I did, they listened to my fear and asked me throughout the procedure if I was ok. They were thorough and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I do have to go back for a filling and I don't feel I will be as anxious now that I know how they actually care about their patients. Fantastic experience: Had to visit Cross Road Dental for a broken tooth, the staff are very friendly and and apologetic they couldn't fit me in on the day I called. So I made an appt for the afternoon on the next day, 1 hour later, they called me back offer an earlier appt the next morning thanks to a cancelled appt, The Staff member I spoke to also let me know how to care for the tooth and pain overnight. She understood tooth pain can be very hard to deal with. When I arrived, there was no waiting and I saw Dr Michael Kim, he was super friendly and explained all my options and the outcomes clearly, the appt went smoothly and I was treated so kindly by all the staff and they really showed they care about their patients. I will be back - and recommend this dentist to anyone that is looking for a good dental practice.

When I visited the dentist, I was so worried they were going to cheat me out of my money like another experience few years ago. After seeing my teeth, the dentist worked out a few different treatment options with different costs. He explained in detail about the pros and cons for each options and what the cost would be short term and long term. I had a very clear picture about my teeth condition and solution to fix them. I felt total control in the decision making and was not mislead purely for the price sake. He helped me make the decision to fix one major problem first where my health-fund money can be used to the best way, and other problems can be done in stages later on. I felt confident in him looking after my teeth and my wallet. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I never imagined myself saying this, but I no longer hate visiting the dentist. I called Cross Road Dental Care a few months back to enquire about some dental problems I have battled for years and was looking for solutions. The lady on the phone was so understanding and helpful to me. I was hesitant to visit, but gathered enough courage to finally make that appointment a few days ago. It was a totally different experience than any I had before. I walked into the clinic with terrible fear, but the reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming. While I was filling up the paperwork, they were chatting to a few other people in the waiting room about the Clipsal and Fringe. Everyone was so happy and nice, it instantly took the edge off me. When I was in the dental chair, I was too nervous to talk about my teeth, so the dentist started talking to me about other things. I found out we are both into cross stitches. We were so into the conversation I forgot I was seeing a dentist! After an examination and X-ray, she helped me to understand I really needed some urgent attention to my teeth and offered me a few different options to best suit my budget. I never felt dental visits can be this smooth and comfortable. I can walk into the place feeling confident in the dentist and knowing I will be well looked after. Thank you Dr Christine and team!

Negative experience: Really disappointed. Initially I called to get a price for a specific procedure. I was told that it would cost up to $1000 per tooth. I had three that needed to be treated. I went ahead and booked a consultation. Turned out that the initial consultation which was supposed to be $59 actually cost $150 and the procedure was not $1000 as quoted over the phone but $1600 per tooth. Then came the "up selling". Cleaning, fluoride treatment, etc. Another $380. Just be honest and stop "baiting" people just to get them through the door. P.S. I just read all the 1 Star reviews on "YELP" where people felt like they were being baited. That's what happened to us. We're not the only ones. It's seems like common practice here.
