Negative experience: I am honestly not sure who is leaving these positive reviews. Negligent orthodontic treatment. They will damage your teeth and waste your time. Everyone who works at this practice lacks the ability to provide basic human respect, especially the receptionist and the orthodontist. The most miserable rude receptionist I have ever met. The orthodontist will see you for 2 minutes and rush you out with no explanation. It’s honestly a very poor service being provided. Unqualified assistants fumbling around in your mouth. Concerns dismissed consistently.

The service was professional and reassuring, and I truly felt I was in good hands. They’ve earned my full trust. And I even got a Pop Mart phone charger blind box, absolutely loved it haha! Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re financially well off. I understand that every business has its own running costs, but $350 per consultation feels quite excessive. On top of that, the experience I had today was honestly humiliating. I came in simply needing the gap to be closed. While I understand there are limitations to what a doctor can do, I was made to feel at fault for the glue coming off. The year I supposedly broke the glue was read out loud with the dental assistant present in a way that felt unnecessary and shaming. It left me feeling like I somehow deserved to be treated that way and I’m not sure that’s the kind of experience anyone should have, especially at this price point. I have a follow-up appointment to collect my clear brace, and I just hope I don’t face another unexpected fee on top of the $350 cost of goods I’ll already be paying.

Fantastic experience: I had my braces with Dr Gareth Ho for almost 5 years. It was a bit long but worth it, I am very happy with the result. He was very professional and all his staff as well. Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend at all unless you are very well off financially, and even then, I wouldn’t recommend. Dr. Ho is very nice and professional, however does not seem super transparent or genuine about his practice or costs. In order to get a replacement retainer tray after my treatment, I was told by reception that I must re-do my entire treatment because they “don’t keep files and details”. I thought this was a joke. The retainer is broken and shedding plastics in my mouth every single night and I have no way of affording the replacement (which is meant to be $250 instead of re-doing the whole treatment). The receptionist even got flustered and defensive when I pointed out that it was a bit ridiculous. Furthermore, my treatment was partially botched because there was a lot of left over GLUE on my teeth which had to be removed by my dentist, and caused extreme orange staining that still persists to this day. Stay away.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ho has been the Orthodontist for our family. No second opinion needed. He has gone above and beyond my expectation in my case to diagnose hidden dental health issue during initial assessment and consultation. The diagnosis was then confirmed by scan and the issue was resolved before developing further. Dr Ho explained to me options and the pros and cons of each option. He not only provides orthodonitc advice, but also the opportunity for patients to make informed decision based on known parameters.

Positive experience: Just started my braces journey with Dr Ho. 6 weeks on, I'm very pleased with my progress so far. Dr ho is very knowledgeable and approachable, always putting my mind at ease by answering to my enquiries patiently. I've decided to go ahead with him because of his expertise and he was able to show me example of cases very similar to mine during my consultation with him. His clinic is conveniently located in the center of the city making it extremely easy to travel for my appointments. Very excited about my result once I've completed my treatment. Thanks Dr ho.:)

Negative experience: Talking to the accountant over the phone regarding why a receipt with item number cannot be issued after the payment as I need the receipt to claim my insurance. The accountant was being very rude, kept saying we are medical doctors, so condescending. My phone was not out of battery that day. I just could not stand one more word from the accountant, rude,loud, and big nose. I hung up on purpose. I wonder why Dr. Ho hires an accountatn/admin like this. I would certainly not put any deposit. Please do not wait.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful services! Dr. Ho and his staff are very honest, patient and professional. I moved to another country before my treatment ended, did not charge me extra and willing to provide supports even I was no longer their client ( Had trouble finding a specific tool to remove parts of my orthodontic installation after I moved to another country, they sent the kit to my current orthodontist immediately after I mentioned such problem).
