Pure Dental Toowoomba

Fantastic experience: I attended pure for the first time after many recommendations. I had been seeing a general dentist and wow! Was this experience different. I was given a thorough clean, preventative measures, and was properly examined to find I had some issues that needed addressing. I did not feel judged and felt like I was in safe hands. I was spoken to professionally and given all the tools I needed for when I went home to continue the care. Have already started recommending to family and friends.

Positive experience: I’ve been a loyal patient at this dental practice for many years, so I was disappointed by my recent experience. I called to cancel an appointment because my family was unwell with colds, only to be told that I would need to pay a $100 deposit to reschedule. This policy felt unfair, as it seemed to imply we were cancelling without good reason. Unfortunately, this has left me feeling that long-term loyalty doesn’t count for much at Pure Dental, resulting in us finding a new practice. Rate 1 Star Update, Rate 3 Stars - Since this I have received a lovely apology phone call from the practice. Showing there proactiveness to mend customer relations.

Fantastic experience: Just recently moved to the region and I had my first appointment with Pure dental yesterday was a full check up and everything plus a clean for $250 which is very good. I had no clue as to which dental practice I should go for so I decided by doing Eeny, meeny, miny, moe and landed on Pure dental, and thank goodness I did . Brillant service, I was extremely anxious going into it because its the dentist ya know. But after seeing Dr Nicola, who is amazing, the passion and the knowledge you have and the way you explained everything put me at ease. And then see Emma for hygiene clean, who was very easy going, did a great clean of my teeth and was just comforting. Explained the process, did it all with such ease, and their assistants who were nice to talk and had good laughto that made the visit that much easier.Thank you Pure Dental ill be back for sure

Fantastic experience: New to Toowoomba... and feeling very fortunate. I experienced first hand just how wonderful Pure Dental is. Every person I spoke to was lovely, accommodating and patient. I had an emergency situation and was fortunate to see Dr David Chu, who was wonderful. Like most humans, going to the Dentist is not on my favourite list... but if I have to go... I will go confidently and with no stress to Pure Dental. Highly highly recommend. Thank you.

Negative experience: I have been going here for a couple of years but my last appointment was quite frustrating to say the least. My first appointment was rescheduled with only a couple of days notice. They rescheduled me for the next day, no problem. I get a confirmation text which said 4pm. I show up for my 4pm appointment and they just tell me to sit down and wait, great - happy to. After about 20 minutes I went to the counter and asked nicely “do you know how much longer it will be?”. To which a very rude receptionist goes “do you know you’re very early?”. I said no my appointment was at 4. The other receptionist then tells me “oh your confirmation text said 4pm but the appointment is actually not until 4.40pm. What! Seriously? I have been sitting here for 20 minutes whilst you knew this was the case? I am a mum and work full time. I have to finish work early, make up for it another day and find someone else to pick up my baby from daycare. What a great waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be going back. EDIT - Jess – as I’m unable to reply directly to your comment, I’m updating my original post to clarify a few points. I completely understand that technical issues can arise, and had the situation been managed appropriately, it wouldn’t have been a problem. My concern is not with the glitch itself, but with how I was treated by the receptionist. I was left waiting without any communication, despite staff being aware of the issue. Your response appears to focus more on the fact that I left a review rather than addressing the actual concern I raised. Rather than suggesting I shouldn’t leave this review or contact the practice, a more constructive approach might have been to reach out to me directly to resolve the matter.

Fantastic experience: My beautiful partner is undergoing Chemo and needed major dental work performed basically immediately to assist with infection control. Dr Nicola and the whole team from assistants to reception were very professional, caring and nothing short of brilliant in every aspect. Thankyou so much Team Pure Dental Elvira and Shane ❤️

Fantastic experience: For me, going to the dentist is not my idea of a great time but with all that anxiety and stress, Dr Nicola and the staff have been nothing short of amazing, supportive and understanding throughout my process of restoration. I never thought I’d get to where I am now in terms of my teeth and oral health and if it wasn’t for Dr Nicola taking me in at short notice when I was at my absolute worst, I don’t think I ever would have. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would! Couldn’t recommend them high enough, especially if you struggle with getting in the chair like I do!

Fantastic experience: Today's appointment, with the Pure Dental Team, was my first dental appointment in over 8 years due to trauma/anxiety/chronic illness. It was outstanding! Everyone on the team that I encountered (admin, assistants, dentists) had such a professional and positive nature. The atmosphere in the clinic was calm, positive and inviting. I loved how Nicola explained everything - the appt process, her findings, the procedures and the biology of dental health. She took into consideration my level of understanding, which was great. The team was non judgemental and put me at ease the entire time. I thought it was very reasonably price for the service and care I received. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those with history of chronic illness or mental illness.

I had a small restoration/filling done and the dentist and her assistant explained throughout the process what I would expect to hear and feel. The dentist was so gentle that I could hardly feel the anaesthetic given. Well done Pure Dental ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wish I had seen them earlier to prevent the damage already done by previous dentists. Awesome staff, comfortable environment and incredibly helpful. Absolute professionals.

I went in for an emergency assessment and was seen by not 1 but 3 beautiful ladies who made time to see me to try and assist with my troubles at the drop of a hat, and late on a Friday! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. The beautiful team at Pure Dental have my vote each and every day! Friendly, genuine and so relatable. I’m always at ease and never made feel uncomfortable or nervous when I visit!

Positive experience: lovely caring people - very accommodating of my daughter's limitations and communicative of fees, options etc. my daughter really loved Freddie, her canine companion during her examination.

Without them I would have been facing my front teeth falling out due to having braces twice and previous dentist work by a different dentist gone wrong. I have been so well looked after and respected. I can’t recommend Pure Dental enough for there excellent and superb dental services. They care about you and want the very best outcome for you and even work closely with surgeons and come to the appointment with you! You will not regret going to Pure Dental for the best dental care in Toowoomba!

The dentist and oral therapist are so calm, patient and understanding it makes my experience going to Pure Dental so trouble free, I just love the team and their guided my dr Nicola who is one of the best dentists and lady in her field of work she is o understanding. Fantastic experience: The staff are so caring and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I have severe anxiety going to dentists but I feel safe and comfortable here. Dr Helene and her team explain everything so the unknown doesn’t cause more anxiety. Highly recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was the most thorough dental check up I have ever had in my life. Issues I have had for a long time (eg my jaw clicking, dry mouth) had not been mentioned or assessed by other dentists. Helene was amazing, explained things well, gave me options, and best of all, she does almost painless needles as well. Helene and her assistant were fabulous with me while I was in pain and with my general dentist anxiety. Kept me as comfortable as I could be in the dentist chair!!! Highly recommended. I have two other relatives going to book with her now!

Negative experience: 0 out of 5 appalling behaviour from the main dentist who didn't even consider a situation before sticking her head out telling me to rudely "control my children". Fact of the matter is I was trying to leave because my youngest non verbal/develop mental delayed child was becoming over whelmed and getting upset but the dentist who was incharge of my children's teeth was filling me in on a procedure. Will be passing on that this dentistry is NOT family friendly or understanding.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. From someone who is paranoid over injections, Pure Dental use a very different way of administering anaesthetic, amazing and relatively comfortable. I could manage having fillings and other treatments while being confident of their pain management. Kudos Pure Dental.

Fantastic experience: When seeking a dentist I’m looking for someone who pays attention to detail, doesn’t rush their work and has set themselves a high bar of quality in their work. Upon meeting Dr. Nicola I quickly realised that she not only meets these factors but exceeds by leaps & bounds. Dr. Nicola is a next level dentist. A virtuoso of teeth. Truly a master of the art. Her talent for tooth strata is out of this world. Such care to detail. Love her work. I honestly believe Toowoomba is lucky to have a dentist of such calibre. Personally I don’t particularly care about bed side manner but if you do, rest assured that Dr. Nicola is a very warm and charismatic person. I’m sure not many would be feeling nervous in her aegis. The staff at Pure Dental staff are also highly pleasant and professional. Price wise the cost is a little higher than normal but I guarantee you’re not paying the full worth of service provided. The work is of such quality that the savings are at the back end. Ultimately the expense would be much greater by repeatedly paying for cheaper, shoddy work elsewhere. Dr. Nicola will get it right the first time. Five out of five - would recommend

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience - 10/10 recommend. I am very anxious about the dentist and Nicola and the Assistant did a wonderful job of explaining everything before starting to calm me. The two dogs were my superheros and genuinely helped to distract me.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend Dr Nicola and her colleagues. I have a major fear of dentists (as in decade of refusing to go) but it got to the stage where I had no choice but to get a tooth pulled due to infection. I informed reception of my phobia and warned I could be crying and shaking and they never once judged me. Special mention to Georgia who was my rock as I was blubbering in the chair while my tooth was pulled. In fact the whole visit spurred me on to go back to see about the rest of my pirate teeth and come up with a plan going forward, Will cleaned my teeth so patiently as I was mid anxiety attack and just went at a pace I could cope with. Dr Nicola is a wealth of knowledge and I actually felt like she (and her colleagues actually listened to me) and I’ve even made a 6 monthly check up appointment.

The practice is very professional and has modern equipment I have never seen before. All the staff have been so friendly, and a huge thank you to Dr Helene and dental nurse Georgia for your fantastic service! Dr Helene was incredibly knowledgeable, carefully thorough with each procedure, and more than happy to take the time to explain any questions I had.
