Negative experience: I submitted an online enquiry to receive a price guide and received a follow-up call. While I hadn’t expected the call, I understand that many dental practices reach out this way. I asked if I could get a general idea of costs, knowing it would just be an estimate, but I was met with an attitude as though I was wasting their time. I’m usually quite understanding but since they contacted me, I found this response disappointing. I was simply doing some research, but based on this first impression, I don’t plan to proceed with this company.

Fantastic experience: Dr An Ton was incredible. She went above and beyond for me to make sure I looked my best for my wedding day. Best dentist I’ve been too !

Fantastic experience: Update 2025: Dr. An and her assistant Cumorah are incredibly gentle and very delightful. Dr. An has a very cheerful personality and it didn't even feel like my mouth was being invaded by a bunch of dental tools, I actually enjoyed the experience. How often would one say that about a Dental visit? I will continue to use Starbright as the rest remains the same. Awesome friendly service all the time. What a breath of fresh air, literally. I haven't visited the dentist for wayyyy too long, I saw an introductory offer ad for Starbright on Facebook and decided, there's no better time to do something about the state of my teeth than now. I'm glad I did, and I'm glad it was here. Their service is incredibly friendly and accommodating, from the phone calls with reception staff to the in person interactions. The clinic is very modern, clean, and well maintained. It's also calming for the nerves. They have great high-tech medical equipment as well. The dental staff, specifically Dr. Yasaman Etemad and her assistant Andrej were very friendly and welcoming. They were professional yet casual, which always feels good as you don't just feel like a number. Dr. Yasaman was as gentle as she could be with the clean, and it was a tough clean. I can tell you that much. She did an amazing job. I found out some interesting things like I seem to have 5 extra teeth , and they always ensured my comfort was put first. Will definitely be my regular dental clinic

Fantastic experience: I was there today, they offer deals for new customers, they have happy gas, dr Angela is really talented and full of passion. Filling is visible from front and it looks even better that natural tooth. Full of compassion, understanding, she explained everything. She is friendly, she is on the same level like customer (not proud, not better, no "big ego"), she has knowledge and amazing manual skills. She can use good color of filling, she can do nice shape, she likes to discuss everything - so no surprises, no stress, you can trust her. Wow. Her assistant is also nice and thinks logical. Even receptionists are supportive. It was a nice day. Have a nice weekend :) See you soon :)

Fantastic experience: Dr An Ton provided an excellent dental clean, almost as thorough as a deep clean but without the intensity. I was very pleased with the results and left feeling extremely satisfied. Her attention to detail and gentle approach made the experience comfortable. Given her background as a former dental hygienist, it’s clear she has a deep understanding of oral care. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Helen Zirak was excellent. I originally went in for a toothache and was concerned about needing a root canal and crown. However, Dr. Helen's expert guidance led to a different treatment plan that ultimately saved my natural tooth. As someone with family members in the medical field, I understand the value of experience. Dr. Helen has a wealth of experience and it shows in her work. What i look for in a dentist is integrity and someone who can educate me about dental care. I found my new dentist here. Negative experience: I recently had an unfortunate experience at Starbright Dental, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. My boyfriend visited the clinic with a severely infected wisdom tooth and a high fever. Unfortunately, the care he received was far from satisfactory. Issues Encountered: 1. Refusal of Antibiotics: Despite clear signs of infection, the dentist refused to prescribe antibiotics after Luke’s tooth extraction. This decision is baffling, especially considering the severity of his condition. 2. Dismissive Attitude: When Luke expressed his pain and discomfort, the dentist brushed it off without proper evaluation nor providing any pain relief (we had to come back and demand he receive some relief). As a patient, he deserved empathy and attention, not dismissal. 3. Emergency Treatment Required: Due to the clinic’s negligence, Luke had to seek additional emergency treatment elsewhere to receive the palliative care and antibiotics he desperately needed. Recommendations 1. Patient-Centric Approach: Starbright Dental should prioritize patient well-being over rigid protocols. Antibiotics are essential in cases like Luke’s, and denying them is unacceptable. 2. Better Communication: Dentists should actively listen to patients and address their concerns. Dismissing symptoms can lead to serious consequences. 3. Learn from Mistakes: I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Starbright Dental. Learn from this incident and improve your patient care protocols. In summary, my experience at Starbright Dental was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this clinic for anyone seeking quality dental care during emergencies.A clients health should never be compromised due to negligence. If you encounter similar issues, consider seeking alternative dental care promptly.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy to have found Starbright Dental the most significant reason ? They are one of the very few dentist’s here on the GC using the revolutionary Air Flo teeth cleaning . Returned from Europe after visiting my Dentist there 6 months ago he had invested in the Air Flow and wow now love having my teeth cleaned with this high pressured wash.I find it painless and your teeth feel so clean. I initially took my son to see Dr Anna Ton to have his teeth cleaned with Air Flow before he was having his braces fitted. I knew this would be great thorough clean. He was very happy he also needed a couple of small fillings. Dr Anna is lovely puts you at ease brilliant a caring dentist gives good advice and will aim to achieve the best results for you. I recently wanted advice and we have discussed what is possible. I find the practice welcoming and all the staff from reception to the hygienist lovely. I’m so happy and highly recommend Starbright Dental.

I was so nervous as I had not been to a dentist for a long time and had a few problems but the girls at Starbright dental were all so lovely from the time you walk through the door to making sure I’m calm and doing alright in the chair and even ringing to check up on how my teeth extractions were. They are so well priced and I just love the fun bubbly environment and the extra care they take. Starbright dental is such a positive and welcoming place.

Fantastic experience: If I’m to be honest, I don’t mind the odd bucket of red wine. I also tend to smoke like Winston Churchill on a bender when I have a couples of drinks. So it’s suffice to say I don’t do my teeth any favours in-between my annual clean. And that’s why I go Star Bright dental. Cause I know that when I walk out of there, my teeth are going to be whiter then the inside of a Columbian drug lords right nostril. My teeth are so clean and so white after my visit today that you could play piano on these bad boys. So do yourself a favour, get in and see the friendly staff and dentists at Star bright. They are very helpful and honest when it comes your dental plan. I give them a crisp high five every time.

Fantastic experience: Travelled from the Tweed area to Southport becuse of the reasonable prices and great reviews. I got Philips Zoom whitening and was very impressed with the results. Dr Ton was my dentist and she was so lovely and professional. I would definitely recommend.

Her management of gum disease is so good ,all gums are carefully measured so you can compare future progress with each treatment .. This is superior to any dentist or dental hygenist help I have had over the years. I have a crown booked in for 1 months time.

Fantastic experience: I have avoided going to the dentist for a very long time due to fear, however Dr An and her assistant made me feel so comfortable and calm in her practice. The reception ladies were also extremely friendly, which I think is so important when you come to a dentist, I had such a great experience and will definitely be back. Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. Went to them a couple of yrs ago and still annoyed. When I made the appointment, I asked the receptionist if the dentist had any empathy as had bad toothache and scared of dentists from previous visits. When I arrived the dentist was rude condescending, lectured me about smoking. I had tooth removed but had bad pain. I returned twice and told nothing was wrong. Whilst at front desk, I turned around to find the dentist rolling his eyes at me. Does not deserve any business as far as I’m concerned.

Negative experience: Disappointing is an understatement... I wanted to have my tooth implant done at starbright dental. 2018 I had my tooth removed due to an infection caused by a filling, the team was so helpful and lovely to deal with. Fast forward to 2022... three bookings made, each one cancelled by star bright for multiple reasons. After taking time off work for the first three appointments I asked the lady's please make sure the fourth is not cancelled or changed as I could not afford to continuously book time off from work for them to cancels only hours before the consultation... Then the fourth booking comes along (booked for 6pm) and I receive a txt message saying we aren't canceling but would appreciate if I could attend earlier as they know longer had a a previous appointment so would be better for them if I was there closer to 5pm... What an awful experience, no consideration for the hours of lost work to leave early to attend, no care and just very unprofessional. I was so excited to have an implant put in, now the experience has been a nightmare and cost me just shy $400 in loss wages. Will be finding a new dentist that is reliable and cares about others time. Terrible service and just unreliable. I wish I could leave a review of 0 just for the lack of consideration they showed.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr Ramy Saeed at Starbright Dental enough. As a nervous patient, Dr Saeed is always professional, reassuring and works at a pace that makes me feel comfortable and safe. The staff at Starbright are cheerful and they successfully contribute to a smooth and individualised experience, making me feel valued and my dental requirements important. The clinic itself is extremely clean, has modern equipment and furnishings and has a very warm and welcoming feel. All of these elements are important to me and are why I will keep returning.

I for one always loathed going to get my teeth cleaned until I heart about Starbright Dental on the radio in Southport. The second I walked in the door I was given a 5 star treatment and was comfortable for my entire cleaning and filling. Dr. Mamu and Chloe did a fantastic job and my teeth have never felt stronger. I highly recommend you take advantage of their $90 clean/xray/check up offer while it lasts. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I have had a fair amount of govt. funded dental care as a child which had left me traumatized of the dentist! So when I needed help this time I was extremely nervous and scared. Dr Ramy Saeed calmed every last nerve I had and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. I don't think I'll ever go to another dentist! Super friendly and professional (also a good price). Fantastic experience: Just want to say a huge thank-you to the team at Starbright Dental! My partner had his Wisdom Teeth taken out a few weeks ago and they have healed so well. Fantastic experience: I'm very happy. One of the cheapest I could find and also great service. They were able to squeeze me in on short notice when told I was in a lot of pain. The staff were cheery, and they were running ahead of time (a first at any medical practice I've been to). My dentist was competent and was happy to explain everything in detail before, during, and after. As for the location: easy parking, close to everything in Southport including other medical facilities (had to go just down the road for an x-ray). The facility itself is nice and modern. I will definitely return here in the future.

Negative experience: Went there a month or so again and already need to see another dentist.guy kept talking to girl about un work related stuff and didnt have mind on job.shoulda went back and demanded they fixed it.the sharp bit where I said u didn't fill it properly is now exposed and hurting again.thanks heaps now it will most likely deffinetly have to be pulled out.
