Negative experience: Review edited after reply: I already explained my experience to you over the phone before you posted this comment, so pretending you don’t know why I left a 1-star review feels disingenuous. My appointment with Melissa was genuinely awful. I was choking on water throughout the cleaning, struggling to breathe, and left feeling shaken. Melissa also made multiple unsolicited comments about my appearance, including skin, which were inappropriate and unprofessional. As someone who has previously undergone treatment for skin concerns (by qualified people) this was extremely upsetting to me. When I tried to give this feedback over the phone, Melissa argued with me instead of listening and offered no apology. It’s clear you’re not interested in improving, only in defending yourself publicly. Please do not attempt to contact me again.

Negative experience: Be aware of pricing noted at time of booking being well less than actual price charged. Seems like a long term computer glitch that hasn’t been resolved and very misleading providing one price at time of booking and then Melissa charging another price and continually saying it’s a IT issue. This is the second time already and Melissa should honour the price that is confirmed at time of booking $129 v $168 rather than insisting it’s not her issue but an IT issue. Cheated twice on this there won’t be a third time.

Fantastic experience: Thankyou Melissa for a wonderful whitening experience at Polished! It was very relaxing and I am thrilled with the results. There has been a significant improvement after one treatment in the brightness and whiteness of my teeth. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Melissa for a dental hygiene session, whitening and an opinion on my composite bonding I had done elsewhere after finishing orthodontics. She did a fabulous clean over two sessions and educated with tips for maintaining future gum health. My teeth whitening really refreshed my teeth and took them a number of shades brighter. Melissa also discussed in detail what she would do differently with my composite bonding sketching how she would shape them, provided a quote and gave me the confidence to proceed. My teeth look so much better and natural. I also appreciated the follow up call to ensure I was happy with the procedure and readily scheduled a follow up appointment for minor adjustment. A lovely clinic. You can even watch a movie whilst she works. :)

Fantastic experience: Melissa has been a gods send for me, not only am I over the moon happy with my new smile and can not stop looking at it! I Don’t think I’ve ever been so addicted to the mirror in my life and the confidence I now have is wonderful! She made me feel so comfortable and safe whilst working on me. I have had such a big fear of the dentist and of having anything done in my mouth. She made me feel so at home and safe in her chair not only do I look forward to my visits but I actually fell asleep in her chair! I would highly recommend her to everyone I know. Fantastic experience: My experience with Melissa started with an extremely impressive free consultation where she exuded knowledge and passion of her craft. The ensuing consults for planning a pathway toward better oral health and improved teeth appearance was thorough and meticulously followed through. I completely trusted her skill as a communicator and then her skill as a technician. Melissa is a perfectionist. Her skill focus is intense. I was in complete awe of her ability to concentrate for hours and hours during the composite bonding sessions. She did not stop until completely satisfied with the high standard of her work. The follow up refinement session was amazing. Melissa took her craft to the next level where I truly felt her skill turn into a personal work of art. She truly created the perfect natural smile look for my face and for my mouth. Composite bonding for me was the perfect solution. This experience for me started off with an aim of improving my oral health and repairing damaged teeth. For me at my age of 71 yrs, this was very important and top priority. The amazing ‘new look smile’ is truly the ultimate gift i could have imagined. Melissa was so caring of me on so many levels. I will continue working with her on my oral health maintenance. On top of all this extreme professional work was the added luxury of a pampering studiol/spa like environment. Facial masks, soft music, Netflix and hot towel service. Extremely calming, extremely personable. I am extremely satisfied and grateful for this experience and transformation. Will highly recommend her to one and all.

Positive experience: The polished oral health studio is a great looking studio. Melissa (the owner) also possesses a thorough analysis method and is highly adept at the cleaning process. This component of my experience was quite decent. Unfortunately, a (possibly newer?) assistant/team member has caused damage accidentally to a fixed in bridge on the upper left side of my mouth, by not taking the requested appropriate care.

Fantastic experience: I’m not one to leave a review or read them however, after the amazing results & the friendly & professional service I’ve received from Melissa at Polished Oral Health Studio I feel compelled I must. My teeth & smile are okay but I’d like them to be better. I had a few gaps, some unevenness & was looking to have them whiter, more wow! I’ve been considering to improve my smile some time and i wasn’t keen on veniers as they often appear too fake & are really expensive i was looking for a more natural look and something more budget friendly. My dentist recommended looking at Composite Bonding as an alternative to veniers and after much research I discovered Polished Oral Health Studio via Instagram of all places. I reached out to Polished with my initial enquiry as was invited in for a free consultation. I was impressed from the appearance of the studio itself and then from that initial meeting with Melissa to my final amazing & wow factor results, even better then I expected, I have been really impressed with the entire process. Melissa was keen to hear my thoughts on why I wanted to improve my smile & we discussed what she could do to help me achieve my dream smile, and of course the cost. This was a key factor in my decision making and after the initial consultation I felt comfortable, valued, listened to & more budget friendly I was confident that Polished was the best choice & I couldn’t be happier. The entire process is done over a few visits from photos, moulds, whiting, the bonding process & refinement and now I have my dream smile & I’m really happy with the results. What I love the most is my friends not noticing, they know something is different but not sure what. The most common compliment is “wow! They look so good, they’re amazing, so natural” and that’s exactly what I was looking for. I love my new smile and haven’t stopped recommending Polished to family & friends.

Fantastic experience: I am very particular about my cleans and can often be a bit of a nervous patient but Melissa put me right and ease and gave me the best clean I’ve ever had- as well as most comfortable. I have always gone 6 monthly to a dentist and yet it seems they’ve always missed the plaque under the gums! Mel was so thorough! Fantastic experience: Melissa is absolutely amazing, she is very intelligent and runs an outstanding business. I feel like I'm getting expert knowledge coupled with a 5 star service. While getting my dental service I watched the tv mounted to the roof (with Netflix) using headphones Melissa gave me. She also gave me as much Vaseline for my lips as I needed and I got a warm wet towel for my face afterwards. The written instructions I was given after my service were also fantastic. I really can't imagine going anywhere else for my dentistry needs now that I have been so spoilt with such fantastic experiences. Thank you for everything Melissa.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Melissa at Oral Health Studio’s was wonderful! There are many positives to talk about with my composite bonding. Firstly the communication, follow up conversations, booking confirmations etc. is very consistent. I spoke to Melissa about costs and payments and she patiently worked out a solution for me. I had a check up/clean and teeth whitening to start with and loved that I was able to lay back and relax and watch Netflix. Melissa also bought to my attention some things that my other dentist and orthodontist had not. The composite bonding was another good experience. It took a few hours but once again I was able to relax with Netflix and not focus on what was happening in my mouth. When I had my follow up appointment there were some minor changes that I wanted and Melissa was so patient with me once again to ensure that I left 100% satisfied! I could not recommend Oral Health Studio enough for check up/clean, teeth whitening and composite bonding. Very happy with my experience and results ☺️

Fantastic experience: To be honest it is my best experience in the past 15 years in the dentist chair. From the moment you step in you get a warm welcome. The receptionist is like a ray of sunshine and you feel like you are chatting to an old friend. There is a no nasty dentist smell (which I think is important for people who have a dentist phobia ) . The most important thing about my experience is that Melissa is very honest and she goes even into the minor detail to make sure that the job is done to perfection. She spends extra time fixing an already perfect job. My smile has never been better and I pinch myself at how lucky I am to be able to find Melissa.Do I recommend her? A thousand times yes! She is the best!

Fantastic experience: I just had composite bonding done on 7 teeth with Melissa in preparation for my wedding and the experience was amazing. Melissa is meticulous and focused on the health of your teeth and gums as well as of course the end result, with natural aesthetics in mind. To prepare for my composites, I had x2 cleans with Mel and my teeth had never felt or looked cleaner and my gums were so pink. The teeth whitening results were also incredible and I am so pleased with how it all turned out. The studio is beautiful and the process was pain and hassle-free. We stared with a clean and scale(the best I have ever had) This included a face mask, and headphones to zen out while Melissa worked her magic. I then did 3x 15min sessions of tooth whitening. Fantastic experience: Polished is absolutely gorgeous and Melissa is the best of the best in terms of hygienists. It was a fantastic experience. Mel gave me access to Netflix while having my teeth cleaned. She offered me a face mask as well so I felt very pampered. At the end of my clean she even gave me a hot towel to freshen up my face with. I haven’t come across any other hygienist that makes the experience so…dare I say…pleasurable? Well done Mel, I’m impressed! I’ll be back soon for the teeth whitening .

Fantastic experience: What a lovely experience with Melissa and the team at Polished! I went in for The Full Polished and wanted to experience the scale and clean with Airflow GBT. I've heard about Airflow GBT but have never tried it. Melissa was very gentle but thorough and explained the benefits and process very clearly. Unlike your traditional dentist and the tools they use, the airflow GBT got into all the hard to reach places and my teeth feel super clean. I'll be back again for my next check up.

Fantastic experience: I have been to the Polished Studio 3 times already and am very happy with the service I received there! Melissa is professional and knowledgeable, but more importantly she is also caring and gentle and gets the job done with a respectful manner. The studio is bright and welcoming, with beautiful decor and jazz music playing in the background. While in the dentist chair, patients are treated to face masks and headphones and Netflix - absolutely brilliant for someone who may be scared of dental procedures! There is easy car parking too, which is always a bonus. I am looking forward to my next visits

Fantastic experience: A beautiful clinic which did not feel at all sterile and clinical like a dental practice most commonly would. Mel was god send with my two kids. She was patient, calming and made the whole experience for them very interesting and fun!
