Fantastic experience: DR Ryan is kind and gentle. Both my daughter and I have been coming for 10years. Everything about the practice is wonderful. Admin and support staff are also kind and customer care is 5 star. Highly recommend for kids of all ages and adults. Book in early!!

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely dental surgery. It ticks all the boxes for me. The staff are very friendly and the dentists are easy to talk to. Several times I’ve needed an urgent appointment and was able to be seen in good time. The surgery is nicely presented and appears clean and well maintained. I must have a good level of BUPA cover as I don’t seem to have any out of pocket for routine checkups or fillings. Highly recommended

Positive experience: A costly lesson in transparency. Came in for a simple consult on persistent pain—was met with a friendly receptionist, seen promptly, and given a quick tap test. No immediate issues found. Then, I was informed: "I'm doing an x-ray to check (since nothing seems wrong so far)." No mention of cost, no option to decline—just a statement of fact that this was needed and happening. One x-ray: $50. A second, "to confirm something", later said to be due to an artifact on the scan: another $50. The test where they tapped my teeth with something cold? $30. The consult itself? The only charge I actually knew about in advance—$50. Total: $130 in tests I never needed, didn't provide informed consent for, and would have refused had I been given the choice. I was lucky—I had extra money set aside, but the sheer lack of transparency left me feeling insignificant, an afterthought to profit. No warmth, no acknowledgment—just a number on a screen and a card machine waiting. Would this have played out differently if the priority was patients before profit? Would a conversation about necessity and cost have been too much to ask? Or was I just another easy charge, another small win for the bottom line? I won’t be returning. If you value clear pricing, patient autonomy, or a practice that treats you as more than a walking invoice, you might want to look elsewhere too. Lovely new offices though!

Fantastic experience: Staff and atmosphere are beautiful. I’m autistic and have had previous poor experiences with other practices - my mindset has been completely changed by McDowall Dental. From the reception staff to dentist and dental assistant - all staff were patient, kind and had friendly approaches.

Fantastic experience: If I am being honest, I dislike going to the dentist more than most people. That said, the guys at McDowall dental make what is generally an uncomfortable experience for me quite bearable. The nurses and doctors are super professional, do great work and seem to have a genuine level of care and compassion - even with anxious patients like me. Jenna on reception is always lovely and cheerful. As far as dentists go, I couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: McDowall Dental Practice is local and so convenient for me. The staff the are genuinely friendly and accommodating. The clinical staff are very efficient, communicte well during procedures and always go out of their way to make me comfortable. The facilities are modern and sparkling clean and I am confident that my best interests are their priority. Jenna is the friendly face who greets me each visit and is quite exceptional in trying to fit my appointments in around my life schedule.

This practice is so friendly, my dentist Dr Jana was gentle but thorough and took the time to explain a couple of anomalies that would require attention. At no time was Dr Jana pushy or condescending, both of which I have experienced from dentists in the past. Would thoroughly recommend Dr Jana to anyone but especially to those who feel anxious about going to the dentist. De Warren Ho has restored my faith in feeling comfortable in a dentist chair. Dr Warren Ho treats me like a human takes the time to discuss what is going to happen and why things need to be done .The cost is always reasonable and the staff are wonderful. If you are looking for a practice where you want to be treated with respect and have excellent treatment of your teeth done then this is the one for you . 5 stars are nowhere near enough this amazing Dental practice
