Fantastic experience: The team at South Cairns Dental are amazing! The reception staff were so welcoming, and Dr. Aidan with dental assistant Phoebe were exceptional with our kids (9 & 7). Phoebe and Aidan are an amazing duo and you can tell they truly love what they do and are extremely well trained in their profession. Phoebe’s warmth and Dr. Aidan’s calm, reassuring approach made all the difference. They were gentle, kind and patient, and made the whole visit a positive experience highly recommend! As parents, watching our children walk out of the dentist smiling and confident was just priceless. South Cairns Dental isn’t just a clinic it’s a team that truly cares. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr Aidan and Nurse Phoebe are excellent. Their calm and casual approach makes you feel instantly at ease, and the music they play creates a really inviting atmosphere. I’ve had two visits so far, both completely pain-free. They chat casually, but are also very thorough — photographing and documenting everything, and making sure I understood each step of the process. Dr Aidan explained my treatment clearly, put together a plan, and gave advice about future appointments. In just two sessions, I had three wisdom teeth removed and two fillings done — and they made it look effortless. It’s refreshing to finally feel in good hands with a team who are consistent, professional, and genuinely care. A big shout-out also to Maddy at the front desk, who is always welcoming and hospitable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend them.

Positive experience: I was getting an extraction. The front desk were friendly. I didn’t wait too long after my scheduled time. The procedure was the best and smoothest I have ever experienced. After procedure info was spot on and I only felt a little pain the following morning. Thanks SCD.

They have always provided amazing service lead by a caring and dedicated team who take the time to know their patients and make you feel comfortable. We took our daughter for her first dental check when she was 2 1/2yrs old and she still talks about Dr Alex. Maddy the practice manager always greets you with a warm hello and goes above and beyond. We seen Dr Nadia yesterday and she was just as great. Highly recommended this dental practice.

Negative experience: Fantastic and friendly dentists. Have had 2 different ones, both were lovely. Will not be going back though due to unprofessional manager, Maddy, who I caught speaking rudely about me to other reception staff and then attempted to gaslight me and tell me I didn't hear what I heard, about an issue that she created. Toxic is an understatement.

He identified some dental issues I had and prepared a plan that has sorted them out. The administrative team booked the appointments to help me take advantage of my health fund. Fantastic experience: I have seen Aiden at South Cairns Dental a few times now. Aiden is very compassionate, understanding and gentle whilst providing a high quality service. I will continue to use Aiden and South Cairns Dental for all future dental requirements.

Fantastic experience: I booked for an x ray and a check up as I have had some pain with 2 of my teeth and gums. This charge for this was $110. My inital consultation was with Dr Aidan Curro. From the x rays / scans there were certainly several problems with my teeth that requires removal and a long overdue teeth clean up. Dr Curro gave me a treatment plan to consider and recommend this to carried out in 2 phases as I'm highly terrified at the dentist. I've booked for this treatment in March 2025, the cost is $1000. Compliments to a professional, friendly and informative practice.

He is exceptional in his work - professional, knowledgeable, offers advise in a helpful way, courteous and is always running on time. My latest visit for a crown Erin was assisting and they were a great team efficient and easy. Maddie and the ladies on the phones and at the front desk are always welcoming helpful and engaging.
