Fantastic experience: Am fairly new to Apple, needed an urgent appointment early this year and they were happy to fit me in quickly and get the issue resolved promptly, even though I was a new patient. Dr Hiba not only perfomed excellent dental work, but was also so understanding about my bad gagging reflex. So it was an easy decision to make this my new regular dental practice, and very happily return for my regular checkups now here. Fantastic experience: I recently went back to see Dr Ian Crnkovic after seeing him years ago and I was so impressed (as I was years ago). I have an irrational fear of going to the dentist and Dr Crnkovic is patient, kind and professional. He explains everything, gives options and solutions, and asks throughout the procedure if you are comfortable. Years ago he also did a crown for me. I was very fearful. He was absolutely brilliant and explained things to the point of me feeling really reassured (not easy when I’m at the dentist!!). I’d highly recommend him and the practice. My two young daughters have their teeth cleaned by Jesse and he is so patient and gentle on them that they get excited to see him and I appreciate he takes the time to explain everything in detail (even to the kids!).

I had my first cosmetic injectables appointment with Dr Mandy Zheng, and she instantly put me at ease (I’m not great with needles). She was extremely professional, bubbly, and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: You get what you pay for, Apple Dental's service has been outstanding ever since I started using them a number of years ago (in particular Dr Hiba Amin and Dr Trixie Muller who is great with children). Their service is professional, friendly and painless. I've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for a scheduled appointment - they're very punctual.

Negative experience: Made a booking online a few weeks out, get an email confirmation for the appointment. Turn up for appointment only to be told no appointment in the system nothing we can do see you later. No thought to try and organise another appointment. Guess Ill find another dentist.

Fantastic experience: New to the area and needed a family dentist. The whole family saw Trixie and she was amazing. So thorough and professional. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE it started firstly by trying to make an appt. Sent an email enquiry and left an out of hours voicemail over 2 seperate occasions and no one responded. Then got the appt for a clean and check up for me and family. This was done by an oral hygienist, yet we were charged the same full rate. We found it was an hygienist as one of the kids needing a filling which couldn’t be done so we had to make an another appt to come back. Then one of us was fitted for a retainer and due to dentist having several days off we saw another dentist to avoid a long wait. We went in for that appt and she could not wait to get us out the door. We ask question and thought it didn’t feel right, her response was it’s okay it will stop your teeth from moving any problems call your dentist and come back p.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, 4 out of our last 5 appointments have been cancelled by Apple, and each time had to be constantly followed up to rebook. Never responding or calling back when they promise to.

Fantastic experience: Took our 2 young kids to get their first ever dental check! Dr Zheng was wonderful with them. Not only did she make them feel extremely relaxed; but she took the time to educate them about dental health, breaking it down in a way a 4 and 7 year old would understand. Both kids are excited about their 30 day flossing challenge and amazingly both said NO to lollies / juice for the rest of the day!!! Thank you Dr Zheng! Need more patient and caring health care professionals like you!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad that I was referred to Dr Mark Casiglia to fix my smile - after a gum lifting procedure and a new porcelain veneer I am over the moon with how my smile now looks. Dr Mark made sure I was 100% happy with my smile and matched the colour of my new veneer perfectly to my other teeth, even adding in small details to match my front teeth and make this look like a real, natural tooth as that was the look that I wanted to achieve. The porcelain veneer process with Dr Mark is next level - he creates a 3D digital mockup of your teeth with the new veneer design, then makes the veneers on the spot so that you are in and out with a new veneer that you love within one appointment. This is unlike the process that other dentists in Sydney offer who make you wait weeks with temporary veneers that fall out and don't give you any input into the design or colour of the teeth. Thanks to Dr Mark I can now smile with confidence!

Jesse re-filled my failing composite filling and also sealed some of my molars following my initial appointment for check up and clean. Fantastic experience: I have had a few dental procedures at Apple Dental now and would not hesitate to recommend Mark and the team to friends and family. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and Mark is exceptional at what he does. You feel at ease while he operates and his advice is always with your best interests in mind. They are caring, thoughtful and sensitive, and the results speak for themselves! Definitely the #1 dentist in Lane Cove!

Negative experience: I advise people to be more wary than I was if choosing to use this practice. I regret that I was not more forthright in my objections to their extra charges. For example, their front of house staff advised me that X-Rays cost $44. I agreed but foolishly did not consider that this meant $44 EACH. So, two bite (ie not whole mouth) X-Rays cost $88. More annoying was that the dentist finished the standard check up and clean with a fluoride treatment. This cost extra but I was not advised before the treatment was carried out. I should have refused to pay for it but I was too flummoxed. The fee for the consult itself was also frustrating. I get that there are two different fees for a checkup vs a clean. But when they charge both fees for one appointment it really seems like a gouge, a ripoff. The staff were very friendly and competent. If this is broadly reflective of private dental in Sydney than it is very concerning. Even-or especially- with apparently pleasant people working there. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Apple dental go above and beyond not just to provide excellent dental work but also patient experience. Mark and staff were quick to ease all anxiety before and during my extractions and were extremely thorough in explaining my post op care. Cannot recommend this practice enough.
