Positive experience: Good dental work. One of the expensive dentists in Sydney if you're not covered by a fund. Check what it will cost before work begins so you don't get caught out. Last work was 2 fillings and a clean, it came to over $2,600. Before that $900 for a broken tooth, and the same a year ago for a broken tooth, so you would assume 2 teeth would be double. Plus a clean at $2600 was a shock. I have contacted them to check and they confirmed that it is their fees and not a mistake. Just be aware and check charges before work starts. Probably not an issue if you just need a clean and no work. If you do go here always ask what the cost is before work starts. I don't mind paying a little more, but over 130% more on the most expensive item compared to other dentists for the same code is getting excessive. Yes I spoke to them about this before posting a review incase it was a mistake and they didn't care. And that's fine and they owe me nothing, they can run their business the way they want. Work is fine, just check the cost beforehand so you know you can pay and not get caught out.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here for many years. Dr Leo and his team are attentive and I’ve never had any issues with the service provided. Dr Leo is very experienced, knowledgeable, super gentle and I’ve always had pain free treatment. He is also very honest and transparent when explaining my treatment options and takes the time to answer my questions. Clinic is also very clean and organised, which is important during covid times. Love that hygienic smell!

Negative experience: Check what item numbers they claim thoroughly. They claimed something that did not match the service provided. The dentist is very arrogant and doesn’t care patient suffer the great pain. After the scaling my gum feel very painful and it last for several days. My Melbourne dentist is much more gentle!

(They were hesitant to acknowledge the false claim, but knew they were in the wrong/would not stand a chance if it was taken further).

Fantastic experience: Dr Leo and his team are brilliant! I have been a patient for years and would never go anywhere else. Just the other day I had a sore tooth and they fit me in the next day! Dr Leo said, ‘We will take care of you.’ And he always does his best work! The staff are very nice and Dr Leo listens thoughtfully and always explains his process clearly. Dr Leo’s dentistry skills are superb and his offices are super high-tech and very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV on the ceiling to watch ‘Iron Chef’ to keep me amused while they work. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Floss Dental for a number of years, initially for emergency dental and subsequently, for general and major dental as well. Dr Leo and his team have always provided dental services to a high standard and are consistently professional and genuinely friendly. Dr Leo will take the time to talk through x-rays and explain reasoning for his advice, for both the immediate and longer term, which has always been appreciated. And for a bit of fun, the "Nailed It!" bake-off show on Netflix always seems to be playing during my consultations - the irony of watching sugary cakes, chocolate and fondant while having my teeth tended to is never lost on me!

Fantastic experience: Just a very tiny complaint, sometimes they will do x-ray without telling you in advance. It's probably done because the doctor was worried about possible decay. Other than that, everything is perfect!

Fantastic experience: I’m most impressed by the fact that Dr Leo didn’t let me go ahead with teeth alignment as I had requested, but instead showed me how to brush my teeth appropriately and to protect my gum. Now I’ve finished straightening my teeth - although 2 years later than I’d hoped - I’m much happier that this would not cause me bigger problems down the track. I recommend his professionalism and extra care he’s giving to his patient.

Negative experience: Got a tooth filled a while ago they charged me 800 ontop of the 500 from my health fund, alot of doubled up treatments ect I'm assuming to get more money out of me, the filling fell out I got it refilled for just over 100 at another dentist, these guys are frauds, I should have reported them rip off's don't trust them

Fantastic experience: My kids go to see Leo regularly to get their teeth checked. It’s all been very calm and straight forward for them each time. They quite enjoy wearing the cool sunnies while getting their teeth cleaned. For the parent the most valuable bit has been Dr Leo telling the kids about a a fun (and informative) YouTube video to watch while they brush. The kids now insist on watching it every time to make sure they brush for 2 minutes! I’m very grateful as I could not get them to do this without the power and influence of their dentist Dr Leo!

Since I came to Australia I have got more scared of going to the dentist due to my past experience where they only see their patients as a number. I didn't have to tell him that I was scared because he is very calm and reassuring. This is the first place I have come back to and I don't feel stressed before or after the visit.

Dr Leo made the whole process easy, always took the time to answer my questions and doubts, always explained everything in detail (and showed me my X-ray to make me understand better), and conducted regular checks to make sure everything was going well. Negative experience: Very bad. Very costly. Just for small cavity, doctor asked $600. Medibank refused to cover, said doctor did lot of unnecessary treatment items. And when I found some issue and pain after treatment. I went to doctor next week and complain of pain after the treatment. The doctor said he will charge even it is pain due to his first treatment.

Negative experience: Worst dentist ever! Had a girl work on the wrong tooth which then required a root canal because of her incompetence. Cost me an extra 2.5k. My girlfriend also paid for teeth whitening that did nothing avoid at all costs! If you read the reviews you can see that doctor Leo is the only one here that isn't incompetent

Negative experience: Really expensive. charged me over $200 for a CLEAN and then wouldnt give me a fixed price for a filling or tooth extraction. Kept saying it would be between $250-$500 even though they had taken 2 xrays to see the damage

Fantastic experience: I go to the dentist frequently and have tried a lot of different ones and Dr Leo has been the best by far. He does a fantastic job every time, he is gentle and takes time to explain the issue and procedures and to give recommendations. What I appreciate the most is the fact that he never pushes for a procedure to be done, only gives advice and let us take time to decide on it. I've done my implant with him, I was extremely nervous about it but all went very well and without any pain or stress. I highly recommend anyone to consult him, even more if going to the dentist makes you nervous. Also, the assistants are always very nice and welcoming!

It was his reassuring nature that finally convinced me to undertake a very scary procedure in my mind : a tooth implant.
