Negative experience: I had an uncomfortable experience at this clinic on Friday 19 of December due to rude and aggressive behaviour from reception staff. The receptionist was polite to other patients, but her attitude changed when dealing with me. When I was leaving, she spoke to me in an aggressive tone with inappropriate facial expressions, which made me feel unwelcome and distressed. Because of this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Preston Doctors Clinic has been looking after my family for nearly four years, and Dr Ahmed Al-Haidary and his team have become an important part of our lives. They’ve supported us through some tough periods with genuine care and consistency. The staff know what they’re doing and they treat you with respect. This is a practice you can rely on, and we would recommend it without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: My mother who is nearing 90 years of age was fortunate to get an urgent appointment a few weeks ago when she'd cut her leg. My mum has done nothing but rave about the lovely Dr and Staff. Mums had to attend a few visits to get dressings changed and she cannot speak highly enough of everyone, her treatment also how lovely and clean the Clinic is.

Negative experience: Had a 2 minute phone consultation where I was asked two questions and told I just had muscle pain. Doctor familiar with my medical history and recent visits. Went to ER that same night because the pain got so bad, diagnosed with a serious kidney infection. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: My recent visit which was a few weeks ago, was a deeply unprofessional and disheartening experience. I was in a great deal of pain, and during the consultation, I felt that the doctor was not receptive to my attempts to explain my condition. His dismissive attitude made me feel like a nuisance. The most unprofessional moment came when he failed to hand me the prescription, instead carelessly throwing it into my handbag. This left me feeling so disrespected that I chose not to come for the check-up he had requested. I do, however, want to commend the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful in securing a last-minute appointment for me

Negative experience: Did visits & telephone consults. Then I decided not to come back again. Dr. Ahmed always rush to close up the consultation for some reasons without giving proper advises.

Fantastic experience: I came to Preston Doctors Clinic for a flu shot, and the nurse Zainab was amazing. She was so friendly and made me feel at ease right away. She gave the shot so gently I barely felt it. Really grateful for how kind and professional she was!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was unwelcoming and had a poor attitude. It felt like I was bothering them just by being there. When I saw the doctor, the consultation was extremely brief and didn’t make sense to me. I told them I had been coughing for over two weeks and was experiencing chest pain, yet the doctor only asked a couple of questions that felt irrelevant, such as “How long have you been sick?” and “Do you have insurance?” What concerned me most was the lack of proper advice or care. I wasn’t given any recommendations on what to avoid eating or drinking, or how to manage the symptoms. It felt like my condition wasn’t taken seriously at all. Also, I found it strange and uncomfortable that I was asked to sit far from the doctor during the consultation, which made the whole experience feel even more awkward and impersonal.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ahmed Al-Haidary has been my Dr for the last 14 years and I can’t remember having a more thorough and informative GP. Above that he is a genuinely caring person with a great sense of humour, that makes every visit a great experience. I highly recommend Dr Ahmed.

Negative experience: Been wanting write this review since my last visit in December 2023: Got stuffed around for weeks at the end of 2023 trying to get a referral for my torn meniscus knee injury. - First appointment - told its just a sprain and to take panadol. - Second appointment - had to bring a letter from my physio convince the doctor I need a referral for my injury - When I finally did get my referral they put it down as a non-acute injury, so that they would make me pay for the scans instead of medicare. Even after I got my results I couldn't get a referral to see a surgeon, instead I was to told bluntly to stop playing any sport at all and start swimming instead! This frustration led me to finding a new doctor having to go through this whole process again. Come September 2024 I am finally getting surgery with the help of a new doctor that actually cares about patients.

Fantastic experience: Having stumbled upon Dr. Ahmed Al-Haidary through a recommendation, I went to see him for a removal of a lipoma nestled on my forehead. From the initial consultation, Dr. Ahmed meticulously navigated me through the procedure, alleviating any apprehensions I had. Fast forward a few weeks post-surgery, and I'm astounded—there's scarcely a trace of a scar to be found. Such impeccable job! Needless to say, I've booked my next procedure under Dr. Ahmed's expertise.

Negative experience: This doctor has been fine, but today made me feel like a walking germ. He takes COVID protocols to an almost hostile level. What can I say don't do patient facing work if you're that afraid. Turned on an air purification unit the minute I walked into consultation room, masked and assuring I was COVID free. Good if you're comfortable with a more hierarchical doc patient relationship/ conservative approach. Has a chair in consultation room that says "don't sit here" I was gaslit by his reception staff assuring me that is normal/ standard across GP clinics. IT IS NOT. After I gave feedback I was told never to go back so......

Fantastic experience: Had some worries due to muffled hearing and earache in one ear but was reluctant to see a professional about it as I am a backpacker not registered with any local GPs. Decided to try and get an appointment here and they saw me the same day, diagnosed and solved the problem fast. Staff were kind and professional, no complaints whatsoever.

Negative experience: I went here a few years ago, below average service..... the fact that they openly offer infant circumcision is barbaric. Don't support this practice.

Fantastic experience: I would really grab this chance to thank the doctor from heart. My daughter had a fall from monkey bar yesterday and was not able to move her arm at all. We visited the doctor and he understood the problem, popped her arm back in place and now she is lifting things within an hour. Also the staff at reception was very friendly and helpful

Negative experience: Avoid this place!!! The doctor was rude & unwilling to help. I just moved up from the country & need a new doctor. The doctor here was useless & I’m not convinced he is actually a doctor, though he might just be poorly trained.

Negative experience: Came here looking to get a vaccine. They let me book in three hours prior and I turned up and waited in the waiting room. I was then told I wasn't allowed to get the vaccine because I had written a bad review prior. When I spoke to the doctor he said that he would consider vaccinationing if I deleted my review. They had an opportunity to improve service by giving me a vaccine and treating me well and I would have deleted my review but instead they just proved the point that the service they are running is unprofessional. Writing this review on another account because you can only do one review per Google account.

Negative experience: I visited Dr Ahmed Al-haidary as my regular GP wasn’t available. I had a cut in a sensitive area and his response was ‘it’s fine’ after looking at it for one second despite expressing my concern for his deep the cut was. 4 months later and it’s a scar and painful. Probably shouldn’t be a GP if he doesn’t feel comfortable, or able to assess the female anatomy. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: Went in with my infant son. Doctor misdiagnosed his mouth infection and respiratory issue which turned out, from a second opinion, to be hand foot and mouth. Next day I had an eye issue I needed to get checked out. Doctor didn't even look in my eye. Just sat at his desk, wrote a prescription for antibacterial eye drops and sent me on my way. I went to optometrist for a second opinion and was advised to throw out the antibacterial eye drops as it was nothing to do with bacteria. Multiple misdiagnosis in about 6 minutes total of consultation. I spent longer in the waiting room.

Negative experience: Come here for vaccines and doctors certificates but literally nothing else if your sick he won’t help you he will prescribe antibiotics straight away and send you off within a minute also never got test results back don’t know if they even sent off the test like ??

Fantastic experience: We always had wonderful experiences visiting this doctor clinic. The staff at the reception are very friendly and always helpful. We have been a patient with the GP and the dentist for a long time and got no complaints. We would highly recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: Dr Ahmed Al-Halday said I was fine after a fall. I told him my ring and pinky finger were tingling. Three days later I ended up being accessed for a brain bleed at the Austin hospital after the worst headache ever. Thankfully I didn’t have a brain bleed, however there is damage to my elbow nerve that connects to my pinky and ring fingers. This could have been determined the day after my fall if this Dr had accessed me properly. I rang and told him about it and he dodged responsibility.

Negative experience: I have had such bad experiences here. The Dr did not listen to me, my concerns or medical history. Seemed annoyed I was there because I have tonsilitis which was not covid related, didnt want to come anywhere near me and actively ignored me. I left feeling really horrible as it was the only dr I could see today. I cried to the pharmacist who gave me much more help and advice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Alhaidary has been my family doctor for over 15 years. He has also looked after my wife and 3 children. The service is excellent and professional. 10/10

Negative experience: DONT COME HERE !!! Would never come back here again dr Ahmed al-haidary was a absolute rude self centred person that is miserable doing his job.. I came in to Preston doctors to get a mole like lump checked on my 9month old back all he did was pok his finger at it and said it’s fine . I then ask if he could referral me to get it check by a skin specialist he didn’t answer me he was being rude about my other child sitting on the seat because he was moving a bit I said he is fine he said no it’s not but instead of listing to my concern about my 9month old he then start typing and I asked again about the referral he just said that this what I’m doing that is what I’m typing in a moody tone for the 5 minutes I was there I have yet to witness a doctor like him as a mother of 3 I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here its a waste of money and time there is a lot more better doctors out there this doctor is a joke and don’t care about anyone’s health

Fantastic experience: I've had so many bad experiences searching for a good doctor, and I'm blessed to have found Dr Ahmed. His calm approach is professional, but warm. I instantly trusted him. And I won't see anyone else now.

Negative experience: I had the misfortune of dealing with a less than friendly receptionist at this clinic. I urgently needed to find an available doctors appointment when my clinic had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to a Covid contact. I urgently needed to find another appointment at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. Oh happy days! I was able to secure an appointment with Preston Doctors Clinic and explained my situation to a lovely male receptionist who booked me in and saved the day. However, my elation was short lived when a woman called back to rescinded as they could not find my medical records and that I was not a regular patent. Thus they could not see me. I again explained that I was left in a predicament with no medical appointment when one was needed (please see above). I added that I did not intend on becoming a new patient as I already have a regular Doctor and to be honest, the prospect of encountering this individual was enough to ensure that I didn't become a regular regardless. Even though there was an available appointment that I had secured (and several more available on the online booking platform to chose from) and the extenuating circumstances, the receptionist advised that she was cancelling the appointment. I did advise that I had already tried numerous other clinics in a vain attempt to showcase the significance of the situation and the prospects of finding an appointment with no success. This actually had the opposite effect as she shamed me for 'leaving it to the last minute' which was incorrect (once again see above). I advised that this clinic was the last on a long list of clinics that I had tried in the misguided hope that I would strike empathy in my hour of need. I think I am still a bit shocked and possibly should have offered her a copy of the Hippocratic oath. I have never experienced a medical receptionist to be so rude and with a lack of empathy the size of the grand canyon. I understand that there are many reasons why a clinic would not be able to take on new patents and I would not normally challenge any such policy. I have great empathy for the entire health industry during these difficult times. This situation however, was one were common sense and flexibility would have been of great value. So needless to say, I don't think I will be planning on becoming a patent here anytime soon.

Negative experience: it's ok. staff are nice enough except i always felt rushed in my appointments. doctor actually listened and pursued a health concern i had but than failed to notice something on a x-ray which months later my osteopath noticed when she ordered another x-ray. meaning i could have been receiving treatment earlier on. they also failed to fill out my health care plan for a referral leaving me to pay completely out of pocket for a couple sessions even after following up to get the paperwork fixed. hopefully they don't miss so many things for others

Fantastic experience: An excellent clinic with an excellent doctor. The place is exceptionally clean, it is easy to get an appointment and the doctor is fabulous. We are very happy with the service and care that we receive as a family, also, the doctor is extremely good with babies which is a bonus for us.

Negative experience: I went in with major problems trying to rid addictions and worried about my mental health and legitamate suicide thoughts and was shuffled out literally within 30 seconds as he does not deal with such situations and gave me a number to call for someone that apparantly specialises in it. When I called that number they said I need a referral From that doctor for any appointment PLUS they have not had a doctor that specialises in that for over 2 years. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do and my pride stopped me from asking for help now this doctor has made me give up all together. Please for the safety of the community QUIT YOUR JOB! YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PATIENTS.

Negative experience: They asked a lot of questions about my personal life that were unnecessary to my medical issues and felt prying. Additionally the doctor was not wearing a mask properly despite there being an ongoing Covid pandemic.

Negative experience: Went to the doctor for for the first time for a skin irritation. He didn’t listen to any of my history nor did he look any any of the medicated creams I brought in to show him of what I’ve already tried. He was too quick with a diagnosis and when I tried to question it, he shut down my reasoning and was quick to give me a medical certificate and get me out of the room. Unimpressed, won’t be returning.

Negative experience: Not sure what he was doing on his computer before I arrived (the place was totally empty) but I really felt like I was disturbing that doctor. He was rough and surprised I moved away. Seeing the other reviews I guess it was just me maybe he didn't like something about me or I did something which is unfortunate because that's not a feeling you want to leave with after seeing a doctor. Apart from that the receptionist was great and easy to talk to and the place looked nice.
