Fantastic experience: I dont go to the dentist normally because ive had horrible experiences with some places but I 10/10 reccomend this dentist, especially Dr Moksha Rana for being the best dentist I've ever had. I had a wisdom tooth removal, and it was the most easiest and nicest experience I've ever had at a dentist.

I went in as I wasn’t happy with my smile, at the end after discussions, each treatment and daily caring follow up Dr Niranjan gave me my new smile I’m so happy he was amazing and the dental nurse was caring to.

My treatment was thorough and quite quick considering I had 3 X-ray's and two teeth filled. Very happy my first experience but definitely won’t be my last.

Fantastic experience: so glad I found these guys, took a recommendation from some locals and this was the best ( sort of emergency) treatment I've had of several in the Newcastle area. Definitely as good or better than my long time dentist back in Adelaide. Have booked for some further regular maintenance visits, they are also HCF accredited - definite plus.

Fantastic experience: As someone who doesn’t go to the dentist on a regular basis and decided to go for the first time in years, I’m happy to say this place is amazing. Communication was super easy via txt and they were really good at finding availability that fits my schedule in less than a week. With myself double checking bookings time and locations they were really informative. Even though it was my first visit in years and nervous, I was treated kindly, when I asked questions they were extremely polite and helpful. When I had a budget they were very friendly to work with and provide me with a plan to better help my teeth. Overall experience was excellent, I can definitely recommend this place to family or friends and I have full trust in them.

From the moment I walked in, they made me feel calm and comfortable. The staff were kind and patient, taking the time to explain everything and easing my nerves. Their gentle approach and professionalism made the entire experience so much better than I expected. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I am definitely a "chicken" and have been to this surgery a number of times now. I have a huge needle phobia which until this week I haven't had the need for. This last visit could have called for numbing but Dr Moksha and Jess were absolutely amazing during my treatment and respected my request for no needles. The procedure Dr Moksha carried out did not hurt at all - she was so caring and I was so thankful not to have a needle. Highly recommend this surgery.

Fantastic experience: My biggest fear, I could not have been in better hands. Regardless of my shameful tears etc. they have been so amazing through my entire lengthy treatment. I would highly recommend to anyone with angst issues, they have many options to suit your levels of anxiety with no judgement.

Negative experience: I went once to this dentist to have a tooth pulled worst experience ever. They gave me a price a little over $400 , the female dentist put so many needles in im guessing thats why the name dentist for chickens, my whole head was numb . She went to work guessing it was knock off time as she was not taking her time determined to get the tooth out fast, she broke the tooth off on the gum omg , then needed to cut the gum to get a grip on the tooth left behind , she broke the tooth again omg so she cut open the gum and proceeded to grind away part of my jaw bone to get at the remaining piece . Finally she got the last of the roots out , me feeling like I just had my jaw broken bleeding badly she stitched up the gum, i went to reception to pay and they stung me with a bill of over $600 saying the extra was for the surgery required omg . If it was not for the incompitence of the dentist sugery would not have been needed , it took months to heal the wound and left me never wanting to attend another dentist again .

Fantastic experience: After not being to a dentist for over 40 years, due to really bad experiences, I had to go with a broken tooth. Dentists for Chickens are amazing. I was so stressed when I went in, but they made me feel comfortable, when I was in the chair they made me feel relaxed and safe and everything was explained fully as they went along. They also kept checking to make sure I was ok and not just on the surface, they were really checking. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am not saying I am 100% cured of my fear, but I have booked an appointment to go back and see them again, so that is a step in a direction I never thought I would take.

Positive experience: The dentist listened to my concerns and answered all my questions ( and I had a lot) before doing anything, this was very reassuring. I had a painless extraction.

Negative experience: I had 2 very different experiences both times I went. The first time the experience was positive the second time was not. I will say your reception staff are lovely and your dental assistant was fantastic and deserve a raise. When the dentist used the numbing agent unsure if they did not leave it on for long enough or did not put it in the areas they injected as it was much more painful. Dentist leaned his hands uncomfortably on my face/ the glasses several times and in general seemed to forget my teeth were attached to a human. The drill stopped working/malfunctioned and after a few minutes of fixing it just started drilling again. Gave no assurance/explanation leaving me concerned it might happen while the drill was in my mouth. When I reacted to this by being unable to breathe properly and needing to take a break the absolutely wonderful dental assistant helped me breathe through it. The dentist's response to "help"was "you'll want to get this done otherwise you'll need a root canal like the other one". Which of course did not help! The dentist was leaning over the tools on the table and the nurse pointed out they were facing upwards and he shouldn't be reaching that closely. I imagine there is a proper sharps process your dentist should be aware of? For a basic filling I had quite a lot of pain afterwards. For a business who is supposedly designed for people with anxiety around dental procedures this dentist could do with some retraining on how to deal with human beings.

Negative experience: Such a rip off.!!! One dentist in a whole joint. Late 30min, $75 for initial cosultation meaning touching my gums for 20 seconds, $ 130 for cleaning (fair enough), $45 for flour putting on my gums. All together bill for just cleaning $250, stay away. Money grabbing place.

They have excellent experience and training and they listen to your needs. The Staff of the Dentist for chicken are very caring and friendly; they also created a good environment for patients. It is the best dentist clinic in Newcastle.

Fantastic experience: I booked my 2 year old son in for a check up with Amit, my son is very shy and I went in with the expectation that he was not going to do very well but I was wrong, the patience and care Amit showed made his check up a breeze, also the tv on the roof with abc kids playing is a great idea! I would recommend dentist for chickens to anyone and especially anyone with small children.

Fantastic experience: When you have such a warm and nurturing atmosphere inside a clinic who wouldn’t want to visit the Dentist for Chickens. I was afraid of the dentist since I was a little girl, but I overcome this fear only with the help of Dr. Ravinder Kalra. She is such a great Dr. and enthusiast that she literally made me love my every visit to the Dentist. I got my regular checkup yesterday and still feeling excited about the next visit.
