Carousel Dental Centre Cannington

Fantastic experience: I walked in today at the carousel shops. To check my veneers out as I have the horse mouth look so I have been told anyways. This place straight away noticed it & booked me in a consult to fix the error made from a different dentist (won’t name it) but they were really nice here and understood and agreed my teeth look like a donkey or horse teeth. Can’t wait till I get them fixed from this place they booked me in fast too!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to this clinic for 3 years now, and we are very satisfied. Dr. Cy is very thorough and explain things clearly. The whole team are very welcoming and professional.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my concern about an ongoing issue with my tooth that has not been resolved despite multiple visits to your clinic. My first visit was last year for a tooth filling, and my appointment was with Dr. Amy. She was very kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable. However, about two weeks after the filling, I began experiencing toothache and an itchy sensation in the same tooth. I made another appointment with Dr. Amy, and after her examination, she said the tooth was fine. I was charged again for that visit. Unfortunately, the same issue returned about two weeks later. I booked another appointment, paid again, and was treated once more. After that treatment(after three months approximately) | noticed an abscess forming and pus appearing on my gums. I assumed it might be normal healing, but it worsened. In my most recent visit, Dr. Amy informed me that the infection had reached the tooth root and provided a list of follow-up treatments. The estimated cost is very high and difficult for me to afford, especially after paying for several appointments without the issue being resolved. I kindly request that you review my case and consider a fair solution.

Negative experience: Having made an appointment with Grace Ng at 4:30, however the admin just call me that it will be later 10minutes to meet the dentist at 4:06(it is so late to call me to announce it, because I am the new customer, she mentions to come earlier 10minutes).When I agree with staying here, waiting for 10 minutes, still cannot see the dentist, she let me to stay to 5pm. Actually my appointment is end at the 5pm! However when the time is 5 pm still meeting with the previous customer. I wai hHow terrible the dentist appointment it is! She cannot do that it influence the customer own schedule. The admin said it is not her fault. I think if the dentist needs more time to previous customer, she should make an appointment with previous customer longer time , not just move the time to the next customer. It is unfair for the next customer. How bad experience it is. Will not come ever

Fantastic experience: Myself and my husband have been going to Carousel Dental for years now Dr. Cy is hands down the best dentist ever today I went in was supposed to get two fillings done but I was stressed about it the nurse and the Dr. put my mind at ease I was more frustrated with another different tooth being chipped he told me we cant have you more stressed about that so he fixed that tooth instead I thoroughly recommend Carousel Dental if your looking for a better dentist that actually listens Thank You Dr. Cy and all of the staff there for always making me feel comfortable :)

Fantastic experience: Have been a patient here for many years , the staff are always friendly and the dentist has always been very professional and given great service.

Negative experience: I recently visited this clinic for the second time, primarily because I moved house and wanted somewhere convenient nearby. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The check-up and cleaning were completed in less than 10 minutes, yet they charged my health fund $147. Other clinics I’ve been to are more thorough and attentive. I won’t be returning and hope they improve their standards.

The first time I saw Doctor Anis Fadzil was on 02/04/2024 for a tooth ache, where Doctor Anis gave me some antibiotics and informed me to come back again for my root canal treatment. Soon, my tooth ache vanished for which I am very thankful and grateful to Doctor Anis. I then came back for my subsequent visits for my root canal treatments and finally I came back on the 19/08/2024 to fix a crown for my root canal tooth. With the new crown, it feels really smooth, fitting, comfortable and great. I am very happy today and wish to thank Doctor Anis immensely for taking good care of me throughout my visits there. From the bottom of my heart, I wish Doctor Anis Fadzil and her team of Carousel Dental the very best of luck in all their endeavors. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place, just had an appointment today for my teeth refill and general cleaning. The service provided was professional, right on time, fair pricing and hassle free. The parking space is limited but huge parking across the road at the carousel mall. Fantastic experience: As a new customer, I went to see Dr Amy to do a regular oral health check up. She is very patient and caring. She explains what happened in my tooth. She wouldn't recommend you to do something that you don't have to do. I can tell she truely loves what she is doing. She is very professional. I recommend anyone to go and see her especially if you got the Medibank private health cover.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for over 5 years and even though it takes half an hour to get there and I could go locally, I am more than happy to drive for the excellent experience we all have (my children are also patients). I always leave confident knowing that we have been in skilled hands and that we have been given honest advice and recommendations. Dr Anis and Dr Cy are so gentle with kids - I never have any trouble getting them in the chair. Recommend 100%.

Negative experience: If you're considering getting your treatment from here, take your money somewhere else. These are the type of dentist who would take any opportunity to take your money, they are not focused on giving the best value to the patient. What an absolute rip off these people are. Called in to get a quote on simple occlusal adjustment (takes 5 mins) and was told that starting price is $140 and could go upto to $250 What an absolute joke this clinic is. Called another dentist in the local area and was seen happily and paid $49 for the adjustment. If you're planning to visit here do check check with other dentist first, I can guarantee you, you will get better price and service elsewhere, because of people like these some dentist get a bad name. Avoid at all cost.

Negative experience: They charge the same as other dental clinics but the quality is just too bad!!! The whole process of general checkup and cleaning, including x-ray, was done within 10 minutes. The cleaning part was around 5 minutes only. After that the teeth were not clean at all. The stain was still visible. I had been to different dental clinics for cleaning before so I know what is a good cleaning work and what isn't. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews about this place?

Negative experience: not happy about the experience. they were 30mins late for my appointment. and i only went in for 8mins:) i went in for washing, but i feel like it is not cleaned at all. all the stain still around edges of my teeth. feel like i can brush myself rather than needing to pay and get a dentist to do the job.

Positive experience: Stars only for receptionist girl. She was so polite. I am not happy with the service. Dentist didn’t explained me well about the procedure. I have to ask her to clean my teeth again as she have not done it properly. When i ask her for advice she said if you need an advice you have to pay $57 extra.

Fantastic experience: Great dental clinic. Took my daughter there with sore/infected gums. The receptionists were friendly and helpful for both the initial and the follow up visits and the dentist surprised me with her extremely good rapport building with my 3yo, from taking the time to let my daughter warm up to her (the dentist) to explaining every step and gaining my daughter's consent at each stage. This very effectively mitigated any shyness or hesitation from my daughter and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable, even when it was sometimes painful due to the nature of the infection. I am very pleased to give this clinic and Dr Anis 5 stars. Ten out of ten would recommend!

Negative experience: I have just been to this clinic for the first time. In general it was alright until I noticed a $30 charge on the bill for Oral hygiene. I was confused and asked what that service was. Then I have been told this cost was for the instruction which the dentist provided for how to keep the hygiene. I was shocked and all I can recall was the dentist TOLD me to use floss every day while she was cleaning my tooth. That costs $30 ??? No Way!!! Eventually the $30 had been waived. But it shouldn't be happening at the first place.

Fantastic experience: I first saw Cy 10 years ago when he performed a dental miracle and saved a tooth from an almost certain extraction. Since then the tooth is going strong post the 'root canal' and now he treats the whole family who love coming out to see Cy. He is absolutely brilliant with the kids, and they look forward to the seeing Cy who keeps them smiling- and then a trip to Carousel afterwards

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say a big thank you! If you are like me and have never had pain in your teeth of any sort before- learning that you have no choice but to have a root canal is pretty scary. Not a filling, not some antibiotics- a root canal. In the end it actually wasn’t that bad. Dr Cy explained everything that was going to happen, what I would experience and how I would feel after. He even checked in to see how I was the next day as he knew I was pretty concerned about it all. Thanks for your professionalism and that follow up. Super appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Anis Fadzil for some time - her bedside manner is fantastic. The centre is very clean and organised. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I have also been bringing all my children and they love coming in to the centre for a check up!

Negative experience: The first time I went in Nov 2017, they charged Medibank $94 for the annual clean up. The second time I went in Dec 2018, they charged Medibank $177 for the same service. Why is that??

Fantastic experience: Went in for the removal of my wisdom teeth, they were all friendly, had a great experience.

Negative experience: I had an awful experience. I went there and was suggested root canal. After root canal was completed then he (doctor) said i need two filling on the left side. Went there in the next appointment and all on a sudden he said that i need filling on right side. I asked him to proceed as he convinced me. While doing that one he all on a sudden drilled the tooth next to the one he was working on saying that has also got cavity !! when i went after root canal i did not have any pain but now the pain is again back on the side he probably did two unnecessary filling. I would not recommend anyone going to carousel dental.

Negative experience: I used to enjoy my experience here when raymond was working here, since he has left the quality of work has slipped. Fillings don’t last and are not smoothed out properly. Also they don’t like it when you don’t want anesthetic cause they can’t bill your provider for it. I will not be returning.

Negative experience: My husband has passed away and I am tidying up the bits and pieces left to do. He spent just over $2000.00 having a new set of dentures made. I still have the receipts for these. Less than 2 years later 2 of the front teeth fell out. He made an appointment and took them back. The dentist who had made his teeth was no longer working there. My hubbie was sort of blamed for them falling out ….through mistreatment, I believe. About $300.00 later they were fixed. Because he had to pay for the repairs I decided to write this review. Anyway to cut a long story short, the person who fixed his teeth, did not do a very good job, because another front tooth fell out within a couple of months of the repair job. Very shoddy work and a rip off. I can't put less than 1 star.

Positive experience: Edit: received a very friendly call from practice manager, asking for more information regarding this incident, was informed that the dentist in question no longer works there and only worked there briefly. He asked me to come back to them if I ever needed any further dental and he would see me personally and make sure I was treated very well. He seemed genuinely concerned that this had happened (note: the incident is many years past now, so no further attention is needed) I was not asked to remove the review, but in light of the call I feel it is worth amending it - I believe I would go back again after this conversation. **Went in for dental pain, dentist attempted an extraction, broke my tooth off, lacerated my mouth and strained my jaw, then got mad at me when he couldn't fix it. Much pain during failed procedure, then months of pain and expense getting it fixed elsewhere. Required dental surgery to fix it.
