Fantastic experience: Very gentle and accounting. Offer good discounts without much put off pocket. Depending on your private health coverage. I normally have 2 free cleaning in a year, any extras check up. Normally, not more than $50. My whole family have been with them for over 10 years, i have to says, all dentists are fantastic, not just 1. The only problem is hard to get in sometime. Book ahead you will be all right..highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Vanessa Ho. Her cleans are gentle and thorough. She explanations are simple and clear. I had to get a tooth taken out for Invisalign aligners, and her injection technique was so gentle and had very little pain.

Fantastic experience: Reception was efficient and friendly. I saw Dr Zamira for myself and 3 kids, the youngest being 3 and terrified of the dentist. Dr. Zamira was able to help him enjoy the experience and see how a dentist works, and eventually he let her check his teeth! She was very thorough with her check up and clean for the whole family. Also, a special mention to Navila who was very accommodating my us in the waiting area, even though we didn't have an appointment with her!

Negative experience: Had root canal surgery a few years ago here, as a teenager, on their advice. Since have had ongoing swelling and discharge from the tooth, alongside jaw pain beneath the tooth. After multiple different oral antibiotics from my GP failing to resolve the infection, It turned septic and nearly killed me. After consulting a specialist elsewhere, a CT scan found that 'Cannington Dental Center' had only cleared one, of two canals in the tooth, which stopped the bloodflow to the infection site. This rendered oral antibiotics useless as the antibiotics in my blood couldn't reach the infection site.

Fantastic experience: I have a great experience with Doctor Powell. I have tooth extraction and Doctor Powell removed it with no pain and explained to me the things I need to do after the surgery . I highly recommend Avadent Dental Clinic, from the reception, dental assistant and Dental Doctor they are highly professional.

Fantastic experience: I am very paranoid about any type of medical or dental procedure. These events are nightmare situations for me which keep me awake at night thinking about them. I had a tooth extraction in the chair completed by Dr Russell Powell and his team. Although it was a very difficult tooth to remove Russell and his team made it one of the smoothest, stress free and caring dental experiences I have ever had. They constantly checked in with me and made me feel extremely safe and secure. Their communication was excellent and the cool sense of calm in which they work totally relaxed me and made me feel completely at ease. I am so very grateful to have been looked after by Russell and his team. If you are after the best possible dental care do yourself a favour and book in with Russell. He is an outstanding dentist and a genuinely caring and compassionate person.

Dr. Powell is excellent at explaining what’s going on within my mouth, and his assistant works well with him. I will continue eating lollies so I can get my teeth cleaned there again (you can’t stop me)

Recently i had an old filling that dislodged and the tooth was cutting my tongue. Contact was made with the Centre who responded quickly and offered me an early appointment to deal with the issue. I have always found the service to be first class and i therefore remain a very happy client of theirs.

Fantastic experience: I was in severe pain overseas and cancelled further flights to return. My normal dentist couldn't fit me in so I approached Avadent. Dr. Russell Powell was extremely accommodating and booked me in purely to relieve my pain. I need a root canal treatment, so a big job. After the emergency treatment, reception called me on a Saturday to check my pain level. Dr. Powell also called me and sent a script to the closest Pharmacy to me, just so I didn't have to come in or drive far. The actual work needed ended up being more than the quote since I have a 4th canal and not 3 as is the normal situation, which was not discernable easily at the time. Dr. Powell worked hard to give me the best treatment and do a good job. No compromise at any stage. He didn't charge me for the extra work on the 4th root. This Doctor is dedicated to his profession and is exceptionally gentle, accommodating, generous, compassionate, caring and dedicated to his patients. He treated me beyond normal times and didn't charge for the whole effort and time he put in. I'm not the best with my dental health and don't take enough care like I should, but I'm inspired now to do better. Thank you Dr. Russell Powell.

Fantastic experience: After 50 years of just toothpaste and toothbrush, my dental phobia was finally broken by family pressure. Fearing the worst, popped my head inside at Cannington Dental Clinic. What fear? I was put at ease, and assured that my neglected teeth would be sorted. Needed extractions and a plate for some top teeth. Everything went fine, Dr.Vanessa Ho and team were great, and after a hug and see you in 6 months I would highly recommend Cannington Dental Centre.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed by the service they provided. I had to visit their centre due to a tooth pain and they advised me that my teeth to be filled, which I agreed based on their “professional” advice. After a month, the teeth started giving me so much pain, was even worst than before. Then I re visited, this time did extraction. Exactly the same thing happened to my husband. After few weeks of his first visit that ended up filling the teach, he got again a very sharp pain. He then had to go to other centre. If they are genuine dental careers with practical knowledge and skills, they do not do the same mistreatment again and again. They did X-ray to check the depth of the problem but other than you just decide your self, I found no helpful advice from them. I feel like they know we will get back to them so making money on our problems. We don’t trust them any more and will not go back to the centre.

As soon as we left your clinic Ethan turned to me and said "he's a really nice man mum". He felt incredibly comfortable in your hand and that means alot to a mum knowing how anxious kids can get in this field. Negative experience: I waited 20 minutes over my appointment time then another patient was taken in before me. The nurses commented on this (I may be older but I'm not deaf) but did nothing. I have been attending this practice for many years but since it expanded the patient care has vanished. I will not return

Fantastic experience: I was a client of a 'largish' dental clinic in Vic Park but always had trouble finding a suitable appointment and then, my appointments would be cancelled for numerous reasons. I am so happy I found these guys. Their staff is simply awesome both courteous and helpful and the dentists gentle. I don't see me going elsewhere now.

My family and I have gone and been through many dental centres and we have never find a dentist that is so lovely, caring and when my two boys first time met Nevila they were very young and bringing your children to a dentist is a stressful experience for new moms however with Nevila we immediately love her so much. My two boys were so comfortable with her, felt so safe and not scared or cry at all. They love her so much and so happy and are always excited to go to the dentist because of Nevila. They don't want anyone else but Nevila. Her bright smile just brings joy to us all. Her wealth of knowledge, skills, professionalism, naturally lovely personality and encouragement to my kids just makes us all feel so happy and can't wait to see her for our next visit. Negative experience: It was my second time attending this clinic and would not go again! The first experience was outstanding and received a filling for one of my molar. The female dentist was a very professional individual and ensured the outmost care. I was schedule to have 3 more sessions to undergo filling, which I delayed it due personal reasons.I had asked to book an appointment with the same dentist but told she no longer worked for this clinic. So I booked my second appointment to go for checkup and to see which teeth needed fillings. Walked into the clinic to face a frowned and aggressive dentist. I was tolled all my teeth looked good and only a cleanup was required. So I proceed with the clean up session, this was the worst clean up Iv ever experienced, Zero care was given and a very painful experience. I believe this dentist will need to get his workmanship looked at.
