He’s now showing everyone the way ‘his dentist’ told him to brush his teeth, and getting him to brush everyday is no longer a drama.

Fantastic experience: James Digges is a very professional, experienced and talented dental surgeon. He’s also extremely approachable and collaborative too. Our family have followed him a long way to keep him as our dentist and he keeps our teeth in the best condition possible. He is excellent for complicated and challenging conditions and you can be sure you are in the best of hands whatever your dental needs. The staff at BHD are friendly, helpful and professional. It’s also good to see that the staff seem to get on well with each other and an environment of camaraderie is fostered in the dental practice, sometimes a rarity these days!

Negative experience: Booked in with my usual hygienist 6 months ago who i have seen multiple times over the years, found out once i had arrived that someone had changed my appointment to a new technician instead. Really disappointed as i had obviously booked my usual for a reason, and i had been shafted without anyone even telling me that was the case.

Fantastic experience: I have had some pretty shocking dentist experiences in the past, so I cannot overestimate how much of a relief it is to find a dentist I trust this much! They offer such genuinely helpful advice, and I always come away with confidence that they’re not just money-grabbing. David was totally honest with me about what he thought would be most beneficial for me long-term in my orthodontic treatment, but didn’t pressure me at all to go in a particular direction. I have also found every hygiene visit to be much more enjoyable than other dentists that just pump you in and out as quickly as they can. Cannot recommend this clinic enough!

Fantastic experience: I am new to Bellevue Hill Dental Practice and I would like to share my recent experience. I booked in for my six monthly checkup and hygiene two weeks ago. The process was seamless and extremely pleasant from start to finish. I saw Doctor James Diggs and his professionalism and expertise is second to none! I returned this morning for a follow up visit with a few minor required repairs. Dr James was extremely gentle and kept me informed and made me feel at ease throughout the consultation. Awesome experience and from here on Dr James is my new dentist!

Negative experience: Strongly WARN other customers about this place!! I got fully ripped off. Paid for a quote I never got and they are refusing a refund. Will take this issue further and report to the ACCC. They also had me to come in for an appointment they realised they never put in the system so I took off work and went all the way there for nothing. I was instead promised an email with a quote from both reception and the nurse which they never sent through. Very unprofessional. Every worker here is saying different things blaming on one another, including the manager. I paid $230 for a dentist telling me 'I am missing a tooth' - not like I didn't know that.. then chatted with me about his son for the whole session. Then the above happened. Not what I came for. If you want to waste your money and time to not get what you wanted and paid for, this is your clinic.

Negative experience: A dentist for the wealthy and pretentious, rude staff mixed with incompetetent dentists. They will send you spam emails and texts for the rest of your life and they will, and have, onsell your private medical information to aggregators. Why did I want to move on with my data? On my last visit the dentist improperly fit my mouthguard during a teeth whitening, leaving me in excruciating pain as they applied bleach directly to my gums. Edit: after using social connections to pressure me to change my honest and legitimate review (though too cowardly to contact me directly) I've had a look and it appears over half the reviews left here are fake (5 star, only 1 review per account, using promotional photos from inside the business). STAY AWAY from these charlatans.

Fantastic experience: I recently went to see Dr Karen Donnelly after experiencing a severe tooth ache over several days. I was given an appointment almost immediately. Dr Donnelly's dental care and proficiency could not be faulted. I was extremely relieved and satisfied with the result. I would definitely recommend Bellevue Hill Dental to anyone needing to visit a dentist.

I came to Dr David Digges on a recommendation for a set of veneers and from my first appointment it was clear he is an expert at cosmetic dentistry. I was in excellent hands with David, Adele and his team, who were so caring and attentive throughout the entire process. David really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and ensured I was happy with my veneers every step of the way. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I needed quite a lot of work done on my teeth (due to years of neglect) and after listening to my concerns, James put a dental plan together for me, he explained every step of the plan in detail prior to starting. (including a written quote). The staff always greet you by name and are so friendly and helpful and are always up for a chat. I’m so impressed by how professional and gentle James is.. Fantastic experience: I had a very large diastema for all my life. I went through periods of hating it and learning to love. However, no matter how much I tried to force myself into a positive relationship with my gap, it just didn’t happen. I’ve always been pretty confident but my gap made me shy away from engaging in conversations with new people - that’s when I knew something needed to change. I approached Bellevue Hill Dental and from the get go,I felt understood. The whole team were dedicated in giving me the best smile. Initially, I was sceptical that orthodontics would work given my age and the large diastema. Nonetheless, I happily rocked Braces as an adult - Opting for clear bands at all time! He struck me as a perfectionest and did not let me go until he felt I was completely comfortable, then sent a report to my usual dentist.
