Fantastic experience: I was in need of urgent dental repair due to excruciating pain over the weekend 9th Aug. Contacted Duncraig Dental Care and they immediately took me in first appointment on Monday. Assessing my situation and urgency I had my treatment by Wednesday. Extremely happy today been Thursday with minor discomfort as I was told by Dr Barr. Travelling overseas tonight for six weeks now and feeling confident all will be okay. Excellent and caring service .

Fantastic experience: Today I had another crown prepared and fitted from start to finish in two hours. Only one visit per crown, such a bonus. X-rays were done at my first visit as I am a new patient. I am so impressed with the staff and the amazing tools they use. All carefully completed while I watched a Netflix movie on a ceiling mounted TV.

Negative experience: I had a very thorough initial appointment with a dentist I know and trust, which I appreciated. However, she has unfortunately left the practice. My follow-up clean with the hygienist felt rushed and overly focused on upselling additional services. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet my expectations for patient care, and I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: I just thought I’d share my experience with DDC. First of all, when you walk into the practice you are greeted by warm, friendly, helpful receptionists. The waiting area has a modern feel without being cold and generic. Dr Haytham is amazing! For my first consultation with him he conducted a full dental assessment which included X-rays, teeth moulds, gum and mouth disease checks etc His dental rooms are very clean, bright and well-decorated. You can tell that all of his equipment is the latest models and innovations in dentistry. My personal favourite is the TV screen above the dental chair where Dr Hay plays soothing landscape videos and underwater scenes that help you feel more relaxed, distracts you from the procedure you're having (especially if you’re a baby like me) and makes the appointment time pass by in the blink of an eye. Then, you have the wonderful dental assistant who is so kind, friendly and professional. I recently had some fillings done and she talked me through the numbing injection, gave me positive reinforcement, kept me informed about what was happening and even held my arm as a comfort - which I really appreciated! Like I mentioned earlier, I am a big baby when it comes to anything teeth related but I can honestly say that I had the best experience with Dr Hay. I felt nothing during the procedure, I was always kept in the loop, he is gentle, caring and very knowledgeable. He always greets you on a first name basis and makes you feel important and valued. Plus, DDC charge reasonable prices! The practice itself is quite hidden away and not many people know about it - they’re missing out! Fantastic experience: Not a fan of dentist visits, but am definitely a fan of Dr Maggie and all the staff there. Their customer services goes above and beyond your average dental surgery. They take the time to explain things and offer options (in my case more than once). Every other surgey i have been too have made me feel like i were being pushed out the door but never once have i felt like that there. If you are not too fond of dentist visits i cannot recommend this surgery enough.

I am so glad I went and very happy with the work done. For anyone nervous to go to the dentist after a long period of time don't be. You will start off with an assessment and then talk through options. Very professional and the staff are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I was enquiring at a few places for Invisalign treatment and I was fortunate enough to live close to Duncraig Dental Care. I'm very happy with the treatment I received from Haytham and the rest of the team. Haytham outlined the treatment plan and kept me informed at every checkup and the entire process went very smoothly resulting in the outcome I was hoping for. The entire team is very friendly and helpful and have gone out of their way to accomodate any of my scheduling issues and even kept my daughter entertained during appointments. I don't like dentist visits at the best of times but it's honestly been the best dental experience I've had. I highly recommended their services which I'll continue to use into the future.

Fantastic experience: I fortunately stumbled across Haytham and the team at Duncraig Dental by fluke, as an apprehensive patient requiring significant work I googled "sleep dentistry". From there on in I have built a strong relationship with the entire team. They really offer a modern day experience when it comes to dentistry. The friendliness of the front of house, the play room for the kids is just a start. I now joke with Haytham that I would hate to be his wife based on how much of a perfectionist he is with the highest level of attention to detail.. which is exactly what you want from a dentist. He feels less of a family dentist and more of a specialist in his field(just look at the amount of qualifications he has). I've had extractions, new fillings, old fillings replaced and over the last 12 months the potentially traumatic experience of getting implants done for the first time. All of the work carried out has been done so with the utmost care, minimal pain and an outstanding finish.... A finish that you would expect from a cosmetic dentist. I cannot recommend Haytham and the team enough, I've done a complete 180 and actually enjoy going rather than making excuses on not to go. If you're afraid of the dentist chair or have been putting work off please go and visit the practice, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My three biggest fears are spiders, dentists and taxes and I have to say Duncraig dental has really helped with my fear! Do i love going - no, but I don’t mind going if I have to now and that is thanks to the wonderful team at Duncraig Dental Care. They are also fantastic with kids and my kids have 0 fear of the dentist, which is wonderful. I know if I have my daughter with me, she will be entertained in the amazing play room while I sit in the dentist chair and she actually looks forward to getting dragged along to my appointments. Dr Haytham Barr’s Practice is in Marri Road Duncraig and where I have been coming for my dental work for over 20 odd years. Previous to Haytham, I was under Dr Bryan Lee’s excellent care. The well trained staff that work at the Practice are kind, patient and knowledgeable. They put you at your ease and they take great pains to make you feel comfortable. You will be blown away by the latest technology that is used to ensure your experience is a happy one (let’s face it, most of us dread going to the dentist and there is no bigger coward then me!). Haytham is very passionate about dentistry and attends courses to keep his skills and knowledge up to date. How do I know? Because he, and the Practice staff, take the time to talk to you about what is happening in that mysterious world of dentistry. Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself – you won’t regret it.

I went in for a check-up and to get a sore wisdom tooth extracted as a new patient a few months back (which was done quickly, concisely and pain-free)- and thankfully I did, as it turned out my teeth needed a little TLC... Otherwise I'd have been in store for some hefty future costs on expensive treatments like crowns and root canals! In the visit following the extraction, Dr. Barr performed a thorough examination and derived a cost-effective treatment plan that would not only save me $ in the long run, but help protect the longevity of my dental health. ***The scale and clean (part of the plan) was awesome, didn't hurt or make me flinch at all and my teeth came up looking and feeling really good. Thanks DDC and Dr. Barr for making my trip to the dentist an enjoyable one.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for about 8 years now, and will continue to do so. Appointments are always on time, no waiting around. All the staff get to know the patients, and are very friendly. They take the time to explain things to you, and don't try and sell you things that you don't actually need.
