Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this dental clinic for many years and honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. I get pretty bad dental anxiety, but the team always makes me feel so comfortable and calm. They take the time to explain everything before and during each appointment, which really helps put me at ease. The receptionists are absolutely amazing — they’d do anything to help and always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is smooth and stress-free. Such a genuinely caring and professional team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Went to Williams Landing Dental Clinic to get my chipped teeth repaired. Dr Mary Phan and the team were incredible. The new filling matches my other teeth perfectly and the whole experience was pain and stress free . Went above and beyond and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Horrible Experience I visited this practice for an issue with my back wisdom tooth, which had developed a small cavity. From the outset, I explained that I wanted to save the tooth if possible. Before even examining it, the dentist immediately suggested extraction. Only after I pressed for alternatives did she take a brief look, and then she began quoting prices out loud during the exam. The estimate provided was well over $5,000 before insurance. I do have insurance, and was curious to see how much the actual out-of-pocket cost would be. However, after seeking quotes from several other practices, I found their pricing was far more reasonable for the same treatment options. This made it clear that this clinic is significantly overpriced compared to others. The entire experience felt transactional, focused on money rather than genuine patient care. The dismissive manner and insincere approach made me uncomfortable enough to end the appointment and leave. Overall, this practice gave the impression of being profit-driven rather than patient-focused. Patients deserve proper examinations, clear explanations, and fair pricing before being presented with such significant recommendations. For comparison, I have even seen comparable work overseas (such as in Bali) offered at half the price. Dental care should prioritize people’s health and cost efficiency—not excessive profits at the expense of working individuals.

Positive experience: Dr Mary phan is excellent but you wont get appointment for long. I had gone for a preventative dental treatment thru smile.com.au & AIA vitality health fund considering there is no gap fee and when they run a quote I got out of pocket approx $75 despite having extras.

Fantastic experience: It's ashame you can't rate this clinic higher than 5 stars. I've been petrified of dentist's for years yet I've returned here time and time again. I can't thank Dr Yasin high enough for the work he's previously done and how much he's helped and how much effort he put into a dental plan on how to go about getting everything done in future.

Negative experience: Took my kiddo to see Dr Mary because of all the rave reviews she seems to be getting but frankly, my son’s experience with her so far has been less than favourable. My 8 year old has an obvious dental phobia, something I made sure to voice out to her from the beginning so she’s aware of it. When he’s undergoing the regular clean/scaling, you can tell he gets visibly stressed out by all the machinery sounds whirring around him, yet Dr Mary sees this and doesn’t stop to allow him to take a breather, or ask if he needs one. INSTEAD, she does the opposite and tries to rush the procedure even more to get it over and done with, which causes further visible stress and anxiety to my child. He goes home and tells me he does not like going to the dentist and kicks up a fuss now everytime I say we have to go to Dr. Mary’s for a clean. I am now on the search for a new dentist for my son who will actually listen, understand and cater to his needs/dental anxiety. Also, this practice charges an arm and a leg for what she does (sub par dental work). Suffice it to say, if you are looking for a dentist for your child who genuinely cares and caters to their needs, Dr. Mary is not the one and I would not recommend her for young children. P.S. Not using my real name for obvious reasons.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service! My step son is 5 and had a cavity, being the first time having a procedure they took their time explaining to him what was going to happen, I loved the way the kept reassuring him and informing him although to be honest he wasn’t phased as he was to busy watching iron man. The only time he started to wiggle and stress was hearing the drill in his mouth which they immediately stopped reassured him and waited. At no stage was the procedure rushed, we left with an excited little man telling everyone about his amazing experience at the dentist. Thank you to all the staff from the reception, dental nurse and dentist you all were absolutely amazing. I will be back with my 2.5 year old that’s for sure!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service they know what they’re doing And also the reception is brilliant Tanya so caring and gives you all the information.

Negative experience: This dental clinic does not give you prior knowledge of what will cost you for the appointment. They will tell you after you come to the appointment. I were surprised for fees (no prior knowledge) twice. I canceled the second one (fee $160+appointment fee), but they still charge me appointment fee. Total unfair and unjust.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team across this clinic

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. Booked an appointment with a specific dentist a Month in advance. They called me twice to confirm I was coming - even on the appointment day. Took day off from work- went in for the appointment and after half an hour wait I was just asked to see another random dentist. No apologies or nothing and was just told this dentist would see you otherwise reschedule again in a month’s time Are you guys for Real ?!?!

Fantastic experience: As someone who avoided the dentist for years, I’m so happy I found Mary! She’s kind and patient and even offered me some gas for my first check up! Now I weirdly like going to the dentist. She has done my Invisalign program, and I’ve had great success. She was also amazing with both of my children. Definitely recommend !!!

Negative experience: Severely overpriced, than other local dentists. Went in for "consult" for ordering of dental crown implants and insitu only, actual surgery is being conducted elsewhere. "Dentist" did not listen and proceeded to do full dental plan with extensive recommendations for other procedures including reshaping of jaw line!?!?! Be aware of costs and hidden procedures, glad I got several quotes prior to procedure, saved $2.5k for exactly what was required by professional. Also consult cost $71 !

Fantastic experience: Wonderful and caring dentist and hygienists!!

Negative experience: The actual service requested was quick and efficient.. the dentist on noting private insurance coverage recommended an additional service, for which the receptionist did not articulate out of pocket expenses (apart from providing an incorrect quote). Made me wait 40 mins after the service to correct the mistake in the final bill resulting in a reasonably high out of pocket expense for the additional service...Did not have the courtesy to apologise for the initial mistake.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed at Williams landing dental and it was a smooth experience. Dentist and staff were helpful, considerate, and friendly. Clinic was clean and modern. Couldn’t have asked for more from a dental practice. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Money minting facility with low quality services! Dr Mary was not able to diagnose my pain even after 3 X-rays and I ended up loosing 2 teeth. I was told (very conveniently) wisdom tooth don’t matter so lets take it out and your pain will go away. Well here I am, still in agony because the real problem was in the other tooth which still persists. Funny thing is I wanted to leave when Dr Mary told me about the extraction of the tooth she was not even sure was causing the pain but then as I was getting up from the chair, she said your invoice is already $350 you might as well spend another $280 and get it out and the rest is history. So, after spending nearly $1000 I am back to square one and don’t know what to do as now I am told, now we know which tooth is causing the pain and we need to do root canal treatment which will cost you another $2000. Honestly it’s not about the money, it just makes me wonder who should I trust if not the doctor and what did I do to deserve this? Folks take care of your teeth, they don’t last forever. Be cautious before deciding who should look after your teeth like you do! Thank you!

Negative experience: I made an appointment to see the doctor one month ago. I received the message at 10 am on July 7 and need to make another appointment. I received a confirmation a week in advance and confirmed it. Your service is so poor that I will tell all my friends not to go there

Fantastic experience: Can not fault this dentist. They are so caring and compassionate I have quite a large fear of dental work but they do all they can to make you as comfortable and stress free as possible. Dr Anna has been looking after my orthodontic needs for the past 2 years and is always so patient with me even though I am sometimes difficult. Dr Ben and dr Mary have done my dental work from fillings to cleans and are amazing at their jobs and always check in to see if I need any breaks. Nursing staff and reception are very welcoming friendly and efficient. They are a very good team and I’m glad I found them after having not so great experiences elsewhere. Will always recommend everyone go here!

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family have been attending the clinic for 4 years now and everytime we go we have a amazing service and always leave looking forward to our next appointment. The team Mary, Fiona, Mel everyone of the staff go far and beyond to make every visit comfortable and leave us feeling amazing. I have had serious dental issues and have seen a lot of dentists over the year's, Mary has by far the most experience and has restored all my issues given me a great smile and confidence in myself again thank you.

I’ve been putting off some dental work for several years now which involved drilling which is not something I would be too excited about. Finally got it done today. Not only was it painless, but we had some laughs this morning, and I walk away with some great peace of mind that I finally got this done before it got out of hand. Thank you so much, and highly recommend your clinic.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call I was greeted with a friendly response. I was given alot of information and helpful advice which led me to booking a consultation. I received a friendly greeting when I first arrived and then met my dentist Ben who listened to my concerns and in turn asked me lots of questions before proceeding with the necessary xrays to determine my situation. He then explained fully what needed to be done and came up with a plan which started that same day. I have since completed stage 2 of my plan and continued to receive the same friendly response. I am very happy to recommend this practice to anyone who wants good, friendly, professional dentistry.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old needed root canal in three of her tooth. First we went to a dentist in Tarneit central. We had worst experience ever and left the treatment incomplete. I then attended this centre. The doctors and her team where the best I ever came across. They understood our needs and were very much child friendly. They managed to settled a 8 year old and completed the treatment in a smooth process. Me and my daughter came home with a big smile. I will 1000% recommend this clinic, specifically for those parents whose child is scared with dentistry. Dr Mary and team I can't thank you enough...

Fantastic experience: Williams landing dental clinic is one of the best dental facilities I have been to. They squeezed me in for an emergency booking, and were so empathetic and kind, and went above and beyond to ensure I was not nervous through any dental work. I arrived with a wisdom tooth infection, and after draining the infection and a further examination they sent me directly to hospital where I remained for 4 days until they were able to control the infection and remove my tooth. It is important for me to note that all members in the facility were focused on my wellbeing as opposed to any future financial gain (removing the tooth later) - a facility I had seen a day before had sent me away with antibiotics and I was told to return to see their own oral surgeon in 3 weeks to get my tooth removed. Maybe if they had my best interests at heart my tooth and infection wouldn't have been so bad. All my future dental work will be done at Williams landing dental clinic, and I would highly recommend it to other people!

Fantastic experience: the service and professionalism at Williams Landing Dental Clinic is fantastic. I had a wisdom tooth that was causing me pain and needed to come out ASAP. Although it was just before Christmas the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were able to book me in with Dr Scott. When having the procedure I was a bit nervous as it was the first tooth that I had ever had removed. Dr Scott took me through the whole process before beginning the procedure and made me feel at ease-he did such a wonderful job. I highly recommend this clinic.

But in this clinic, from the receptionists to Mary the dentist, I have finally found a clinic who help put me at ease (as much as they can ). It's clean, bright and you have view out of the window whilst you wait. All staff are professional. If teeth didn't have nerves I'd be happier, but as they do, I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: love love love Dr Phan and the reception ladies - as a 30 year old female being absolutely petrified of going to the dentist, the reception ladies and Dr Pham really took that fear and phobia away and didnt make me feel my teeth were atrocious (even though Im convinced they are haha). I recommended them to my two sisters who have made appointments and find them extremely friendly and super supportive. Dr Phan knows her stuff, gets on with it AND keeps me calm and has a chat with me during the appointment - love her <3 im not afraid to go to my future appointments with them now and im excited about getting my teeth fixed and super pretty again yay! so glad ive found a great dentist practice!

Negative experience: They are not dentist, but salesman! My wife went there did a full check up, and was informed there were 5 fillings needed to be done, as well as a splint is highly recommended for grinding habit. They quoted $1620 total charge, $1009 out of pocket with private health insurance. They also recommended braces costing from 6.5k to 8k for two slightly sticking out teeth in the front. Because of the cost, we start looking for other providers trying to compare the price. Went to 2 other different clinics talked to 3 different dentist. After looking at the X-ray image, and a check up on her teeth, they all agreed that none of the fillings needed to be done because of the size of decays are too tiny, maybe they will last for another 10 years without causing any problem. And her grinding problem is not giving her any problems or symptoms at all, splint is totally unnecessary. They may have skills, but we wouldn't go back there.

Positive experience: Ben and Abby are awesome! I've had a very good painless experience with my fillings so far while also improving my culinary skills. (?) The advice given to me has been personalised and always with my best interest in mind. Mel is excellent with booking appointments and providing me with general advice. I love getting a reminder text on Mondays. The only slight inconvenience I have is that the practice is closed on weekends but Mel makes up for this by slotting me in at lunchtime.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been seeing Ben Scott at this practice. Ben is a very gentle dentist so would be great with kids or people who are nervous about visiting dentists. Would highly recommend him.

Negative experience: I had spoken with the dentist to discuss my severe dental phobia and was reassured that they had the empathy to reassure me and make my dental appointment reasonably pleasurable. However, I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes early and completed the paperwork. I then sat in the waiting room for a further 25 minutes. My appointment was at 12 and I left at 12.23pm, leaving a note on the receptionists desk. I had wanted to talk to a member of staff but the desk was left unmanned for the majority of the time I was there, hence the note. I did receive a call as I was driving back to work (I had taken unpaid time off work to visit the dentist) and they apologised explaining that they were short staff that day. HOWEVER, they also acknowledged that they knew I was a very nervous patient and therefore it is not acceptable for them to leave me alone in the waiting room. No one offered an explanation or apology whilst I was there, they just left me waiting. Whilst I appreciate that the surgery may have been short staffed, this should not have been made a patient's problem. Having a very real and very severe dental phobia, I have felt sick all morning, stressed about this appointment for 2 weeks and now have not had my check up. I am so incredibly disappointed with the service you have offered today. Reading the other reviews, I am questioning whether or not I went to the correct surgery.

Fantastic experience: Today was my very first visit to Williams Landing Dentist. I must say l'm very impressed by the professionalism. Dr Mary Nguyen (Phan) was very thorough & explained everything to me. She is very kind, gentle & such a lovely dentist, as was her dentist assistant. The reception staff was very friendly, helpful & this made my visit, so much more relaxed. The Dental Clinic is spotless. Fantastic experience: Best customer service is needed when things don't go according to plan. Sometimes life happens and even the best can't avoid issues. This is the case for me when my fillings didn't go according to plan. I had to visit 3 times to get it all fixed. Everyone handled the situation very pleasantly. Owned up to the issue. Did their best to accommodate me in ASAP. That's good customer service when it is needed the most.

Fantastic experience: Went this morning to have three teeth out under sedation. Tiny prick to put something on my arm then didn't remember anything until procedure finish. Pain when anaesthetic wore off controlled straight away with pain killers. Now lazing about watching the cricket. Everybody here is brilliant, just brilliant. I hated going to the dentist but not anymore. Couldn't believe my experience would be this pain free and I had been stressing about it all week for nothing.
