Fantastic experience: My first visit to Southside Dental Group today very nervous, was pleasantly surprised ,first time ever, not needed anaesthetic. Have booked for a further clean and check in 6 months, highly recommend.

Negative experience: I would give them no stars if I could. The women at the counter is very rude and is not being truthful. For some reason she has just decided to stop selling me strawberry toothmoose plus.. She was very cocky and admitted this to me. About the same time 2 other dental surgery stopped selling it to me. She knows that's the only one we use. So she just displays peppermint. I've being waiting months. She said October. It is now Dec. I'm confident in saying the product has arrived . There is no shortage. It can be ordered, and come in overnight. Shame on you. My daughter has a dental injury. Resulted in TMJ etc Not from this practice.. the dentist has walked off scott free. All I ask is. Be honest about it. If your keeping it for your patients. Say so. The receptionist laughed when she said it hadn't come in. I have being back 3 times. I'm not amused. It's just great that the receptionist finds this whole situation amusing. I have other suppliers. We have 3 people in total in our home that use this product. So we have more then one practice that orders it in for us. Or Holds onto for us. I don't buy from just one because I don't want to buy it too often from one supplier. Because I don't want to take it from their patients. It's convenient for me to buy it from you . when I'm at vinnies . It's common practice for these dental practices. They sell it to me for awhile. Then stop. Has the owner told her to be dishonest about the non arrival of this product. If not. You need to talk to her

Fantastic experience: Dr Pateel and staff were lovely - they followed me up between appointments and made space for me to drop in with any new concerns during treatment. Dr Pateel is a great listener and fully heard and attended to the dental concerns I had.

Negative experience: My wife attended Southside dental to have a crown re-glued back into place temporarily as our dentist is currently on holiday. Having been through this process many times the price is always reasonable. However, this practice proceeded to remove the crown, carry out extra and un required work (my wife questioned this, and was told it HAD to be done) without any consent or mention of costs involved prior, although the girls at reception advised this WOULD be discussed prior. Once completed we were then hit with a balance almost double of any other dental clinic in Brisbane. Very unprofessional and very expensive. I would advice to go elsewhere, a very bad experience.

Her explanation of pending treatments and outcome is exceptional. I have personally not encountered such a wonderful dentist until now. The surgery is clean and inviting and all other staff are also friendly and exceptional beyond words. So glad I have found my forever dentist.

Negative experience: I noticed the link to DMA still. Such a shame. Dental Members Australia and this surgery took over $10000 from me and my partner for a "Dental plan" Then failed to provide the services on the contract. Just a simple heads up for everyone. BE CAREFUL. $10000 Is alot to spend to have basically nothing done.

Negative experience: I would really put 5 stars if everything went well. Suddenly they decided to not to go ahead on my son's treatment after went through all the process from last few months which is really waste of our time. If they would let us know that before we will look into a different options. Its really frustrating and also we don't know how to console my son who was eagerly waiting for the teeth fix. It all happened when we just about to pay the payment. This is really not a professional way. Anywz thanks for everything you guys done so far. Edited: Price has been discussed before start the process but in that agreement that the negotiated price has been stricken out and the new price written by pen thats the reason we raised the question but still we were ready to pay in one instalment.

I recently had excruciating toothache which was quickly treated resulting in the pain being relieved promptly. A root canal treatment process was required and these appointments were scheduled at convenient times. The procedures were virtually pain-free and I felt I was in safe hands at all times.
