The decision to discontinue treatment was absolutely not a refusal of care, but a necessary clinical judgment made in the patient's best interest, safety, and welfare due to the extreme difficulty encountered during the initial assessment.
As previously communicated, due to the challenges encountered, we maintain that the patient would be best served by a fresh start with a provider at a different clinic who can better meet their specific needs.
We strongly encourage the patient or their companion to contact our Practice Manager directly at 02 4628 2151. We are prepared to formally discuss the clinical advice and assist with transferring all necessary patient information to the alternative clinic.

The Dentist was very thorough and explained everything in layman's terms and provided several options to deal with the problem. Warm welcome from the receptionist. A very pleasant experience indeed. Fantastic experience: Everyone at the Bradbury and Appin Dental Practice has been phenomenal. Aaron had two cracked and badly damaged wisdom teeth on the left side of his jaw that needed immediate help for extraction. I spoke with Carly who was beyond amazing to book us for a last minute appointment at the end of the day, organised a script and x-ray the following morning at 9am followed by extraction. We are day 1 post extraction of both teeth, and whilst the pain is awful as expected, the script provided aids with relief and the follow up care by the team has been a really helpful and welcome addition to their service. I am really happy with the service we received under such short emergency notice and very thankful for their help. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending everyone at this Practice. They are brilliant. Negative experience: I get support for transportation and unfortunately I wasn't able to make my appointment and due to my support not showing up on time. I simply was trying to rebook soon as I figured it out. I was then told I have to pay $70 due to not giving them 48hrs notice. Nothing but a disappointment and a feeling of lost due to not having the founds. I had a good experience prior and this is my 3rd time and now I'm not allowed to book a new appointment until I pay them more Money. Cheers for leaving me in pain.

Please know that we never want any patient to feel distressed or left in pain. The $70 fee is not a penalty, but a refundable deposit applied only in certain cases — typically when there have been multiple late cancellations or missed appointments with little to no notice. This policy, which you agreed to when signing our new patient form, allows us enough time to offer those appointments to other patients who may be on our waiting list and in urgent need of care.
Importantly, the $70 is fully credited towards your next treatment if you attend as scheduled. We do our best to apply this policy with fairness and understanding, and it's certainly not something we enforce lightly or routinely.
We genuinely value you as a patient and are here to support you moving forward in any way we can.

Fantastic experience: The whole team at Bradbury dental are professional and friendly. Dr Adhikari gave my teeth a very thorough clean and excellent information on how to provide my teeth with extra care at home. His approach is to only fill when necessary and I respect that a lot. Fantastic experience: I got a filling at another dentist and afterwards, I experienced pain whenever i ate something. I reattended the same dentist twice to have issue fixed however, they were unable to diagnose issue. I experienced this pain for months. I attended Bradbury Dental Surgery for a second opinion and saw Dr Marina Doss. She was able to diagnose the cause of pain and fix the issue. I no longer have any pain when eating and I am very thankful to Dr Marina Doss for listening and being responsive to my concerns. All staff at the surgery were very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Dr Shelley is absolutely amazing. I have seen her in Appin and at Bradbury and I would not trust anyone else. I had a fear Of dentists for many years before seeing Dr Shelley, she is wonderful with patients that have anxiety and talks yoh through every step, from the moment you walk into her rooms you feel at ease from the receptionist through to her assistants they are all wonderful. I even had pain on a public holiday and Dr Shelley dropped everything and met me at her rooms. Can’t speak highly enough of her and the team.

Fantastic experience: I've had some very judgmental and downright painful dentists before, but this dentist was so kind and understanding. she pulled a stump of a tooth and there was virtually no pain, barely needed any pain medication for the aftercare - she was THAT gentle!
