Fantastic experience: Very anxious when I arrived but all the staff, the dentist and the hygienist were amazing. Took their time with me and explained everything, kept me calm the whole time.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pellew and her team did an amazing job of supporting me through the process of removing two old teeth and replacing them with implants. I required a bone graft to help support the new implants which took some time to build up but Dr Pellew kept in touch along the way and made sure everything was progressing smoothly. All the work was done in the safety and comfort of the chair and I did not need a general anaesthetic. My smile is back!! Thanks Jane and team.

Fantastic experience: To be honest l stay away from dentists as long it is possible. I end up having major work done because of this anxiety with dentists. But today I was seen by Holly, the dentist nurse and Dr. John. . I really like the experience that I had today. He told me what he was going to do every step of the way. It was very comforting. For me to go to reception and book another appointment in 6 months time, with previous dentists . I would make all the excuses under the sun, not to go or fulfill the appointment, that they would set up for me. But I am actually really looking forward to going back in 6 months time. He numbs the area up first with a numbing agent, then he gives you the needle and that way you do not feel the needle. I did not feel the needle today. It made the whole experience today. A happy one. I was a long time in the chair, because l had 4 fillings. I felt no anxiety at all. I was quite happy for him to do whatever he needed to do. That is a big change for me. Notably, Taylor, the hygienist who looked after me was absolutely fantastic - and I could tell she has a passion and is excellent at what she does. What an amazing team member to have. It may seem odd, but I look forward to my appointments at the dentist as all the staff are a pleasure to deal with and know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: Terry is outstanding, especially with treating children, takes time to explain procedures properly and put any nerves at ease. Includes parents and children in his discussions, very friendly but also very professional. Been seeing him for years and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I have had three visits to the Payneham Road Dental Clinic in a relatively short period of time, and have found all the staff I encountered there to be first class. The women who staff the front desk make you feel welcome and take a personal interest in you, making a point of using your name and taking time to chat The dental hygienist was comprehensive and professional, and Ash, the dentist who treated me, has been excellent. He talks you through the process, explains what he is doing and is gentle. At the end of the procedure he takes time to review what has happened. You do not feel as if you are being rushed through on a conveyor belt. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say, as soon as I walked into this place the staff where very helpful. I haven’t been to a dentist in over 4 years due to injuries and medical problems as I started to have major concern about my teeth from being on a lot of medications. My arm doesn’t work that well and staff took me to a private room to fill in my paper work, then I was called into see Dr Andrew Chan and his nurse. Both smiling and understanding of my medical condition, making me feel so comfortable in the chair instead of feeling so embarrassed and beyond self conscious, I felt like I was in control of how far the chair was going to be reclined as he was very gentle, had a lot patience and understanding. I would definitely give this place more than a 5 star rating if I could as I wasn’t over charged and he didn’t do work that wasn’t required, giving an honest opinion as I have heard other dentist doing work that isn’t required for a quick job to take money from others. He was beyond helpful and I truly appreciate his honesty that I will be returning to him as my future dentist and also my family. Well done Payneham Road Dental forever appreciated

Each in their own way is caring and conscientious. Peter Hell, Vince McCabe and now Andrew Chan. Each brings their own style but common fastidiousness. Caroline the receptionist is always cheerful and welcoming. Andrew, my current dentist is able to see the bigger picture and explains the detail as we move on, in such a way that promotes ease of mind for me. His devotion to excellence is testament to his compassion and skills as a dentist. My experiences here have always been that a good outcome occurs, especially with regard to the quality of my dental care. Recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and care. Thought about going overseas for treatment but am very pleased we didn't. The time we spent planning and going through different options that best fit my needs couldn't have been done overseas.I like many am not comfortable in a dentist chair but the professionalism and genuine care from all staff was amazing. The phone calls checking on my welfare post procedure showed genuine concern and made me feel very special.
