First Impressions Dental - Bunbury

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and informative staff. It's my first time using them albeit unfortunately to get a tooth extracted but I cannot fault these guys. Will definitely go back for my check ups and any work that needs done

Negative experience: I have never needed a filling in five decades. First visit here just for a clean which was very rushed and I didn't get that smooth tongue on teeth feel I always had after professional clean. I then felt ambushed when I was hurriedly flashed images they'd taken and told I need five fillings and a bite plate, complete with costs and urgency to get done. A second opinion a year later confirmed that wasn't the case but I still get regular SMS messages for dental up sells and deals from different numbers identifying as First Impressions Dental with no way to stop them. Pretty poor form overall.

Fantastic experience: From my very first consultation at First Impressions Bunbury with Silas, I felt completely at ease. He provided clear advice and outlined several options to best suit my dental needs — including seven crowns and three implants. Jordan, the Branch Manager, was fantastic throughout the process — always helpful, keeping me informed, and maintaining excellent communication at every step. The team also supported me by organising external assistance through Supercare, allowing me to access my superannuation to cover the dental work. This made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. A special mention to Dr. Ahmed Elmofty, who performed all of my dental procedures with the highest level of professionalism and care, followed by thorough post-treatment reviews. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend First Impressions Dental Bunbury to anyone seeking quality dental care and outstanding service.

The dentist is very considerate, ensuring your comfortable whilst explaining the procedure throughout the process, so you are not wondering what is happening and how long the procedure is going to take.

Fantastic experience: Had four fillings done today by Dr Marwa Elbably, she was extremely lovely and calmed my dental anxiety, talking through every step she did and making sure that I was okay throughout the process, recommend her if you have some dental anxiety and need a dentist who will reassure you and relieve that stress! She was amazing, the receptionist was also fantastic working through some difficulties with the private health fund, such a great clinic and service!

Fantastic experience: I came to South West Dental Bunbury twice already for tooth filling. Kathy has been very helpful in accomodating my calls. Doctor Marwa has been great on treating my teeth. They all work with great precision. Chloe assisted Doctor Marwa during my first visit. She did a good job. Kathy assisted Doctor Marwa yesterday for my second filling. I was really surprised because I didn’t think that she also assists during dental treatments because I see her on the front desk. I was really very happy with the team and Doctor Marwa was really, really good. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Plus, the price was very reasonable, which is important for me. Salute to the team of South West Dental Bunbury. Very highly recommended guys.

Fantastic experience: Best dental practice I have visited and I’ve been to a few in Bunbury and Perth! I’ve been putting off going to a dentist for years due to confidence issues but Dr. Marwa is so kind and makes me feel so comfortable! She did an amazing job with my fillings in preparation for a tooth implant scheduled to be completed in 4 months time, but so far my teeth look beautiful and she even managed to straighten out a couple of teeth with the fillings! They have so many different payment options that makes things a lot easier for patients. Thank you so much to Dr. Marwa and the team at First Impressions! I’ve been all smiles after my appointment today. The receptionist also tries very hard to work with your schedule and availability! Negative experience: Receptionist wasn’t very engaging, had an off vibe as soon as I walked through the door, dentist was OK but within a couple of weeks my tooth became sensitive and I couldn’t eat. Tried contacting the clinic but no one answers OR returned my call. Not very happy and won’t be going back after they amend what they haven’t done correctly.

I was physically anxious and quite nervous and the whole clinic was very accomodating. Right to the point where we scheduled for another day due to how I was feeling. When I went in to have the extraction Dr Marwa was quick and professional. Made me feel very safe. Katie at the front desk was also lovely throughout the whole ordeal. Safe to say I have found a local dentist for life. Well done to all (including the dental nurse I never got a chance to grab your name) highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr Silas is an incredible dentist who made me feel extremely comfortable despite have some major dental issues and not being to a dentist in many many years. I couldn’t recommend him enough. This was the first positive experience with a dentist that I have had in my entire life. He made me feel very at ease and explained everything in layman’s terms. He is up front about costs so there are no surprises when you leave and prioritises what work you need to have done and what can wait. 11/10 experience.
