Fantastic experience: I have a MAJOR fear of the dentist.. or should I say HAD. I went into ashburton knowing I needed a clean and I was so stressed as I hadn’t been to a dentist in years. The calmness of Dr.Kav turned my fears of the dentist around. I’m actually excited to go now! He did an amazing job and did honestly a great job for what I came with! Negative experience: Not impressed and Do not recommend Booked an appointment but the attitude of doc kav and receptionist felt really negative Reply for your harassment allegation If some one try to harass and use abusive language kindly call cops and put press charges it's Australia everything is recorded No one has has abuse your staff no one has that much time to come to fish market dental store and start harass you guys got my contact details and adress kindly put press charges if like and kindly train your staff no manners no communication skills Charging leg and arm dirty carpets no hygiene if some one complain take it as a complain don't go up and down and say people are harassing you

Negative experience: Many people praise Dr. Kav and speak highly of his service, but unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I brought my son in as a new patient for a check-up and cleaning. I had concerns about his brushing habits, but Dr. Kav assured me that everything looked fine and didn’t raise any issues. Three months later, I took my son to a different clinic for a second opinion. The new dentist took two X-rays and, just by examining his teeth and gumline, pointed out that my son clearly hadn’t been brushing well. He also found a cavity that had been completely missed during the previous check-up. I felt let down by the lack of attention and thoroughness. I will not be returning to Dr. Kav, and I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to others based on our experience.

Fantastic experience: I visited Ashburton Dental Centre today in a lot of pain and feeling nervous about the treatment, but Dr. Mandy and Dr. Kav were absolutely amazing. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. The treatment went smoothly and I am so grateful for their expertise and care. Fantastic experience: I had been putting off getting a new front tooth for over a year after it was knocked out in an accident.. I hadn't been to the dentist in 20 years and am extremely sceptical of them usually so was a bit unsure what to expect but I have to say I was very impressed by the team there. I went in for a clean and checkup to see my options and within half an hour Dr Kav had cleaned my teeth to sparkling, taken x-rays , explained my options and taken an impression of my mouth for my new tooth ( he could have gouged me for another appointment to pay again like other dentists do but he kindly went over my appointment time to get it done then. One week later on cue like he said I had a perfect new tooth and a smile to be proud of ☺️ Reasonably priced and genuine service with a smile .. Fantastic experience: Went into Ashburton dental yesterday had agonising pain and they were able to get me in on short notice and long story short pain is gone had 2 teeth removed. Outstanding service by the team

Negative experience: We had Dr Stephanie Tan, she made me feel comfortable when I was nervous but her bedside manner towards her team member was horrible, I thought maybe it was a once off with me but my daughter also made a comment about it as she was just as shocked! I get the other lady may have been training but there’s no need to speak the way she did or push the ladies hand away. Respect goes both ways. Won’t be back

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kav did my extraction today & was extremely welcoming, friendly & professional! I carry a lot of shame from my teeth due to crowding & have avoided trips to the dentist as much as possible for this reason, he is the first person to do dental work on me that didn’t even give me time to feel that way! I’m extremely anxious when it comes to dentist’s, not just a little, I shake like crazy and I’ve even had time’s where I’m tearing up before I’ve even sat on the bed. I didn’t feel half as anxious as I have at other clinics, the shaking still happened but it was very minimal (and no tears or extreme chair anxiety compared to usual). I’ll be coming back to him for all of my treatment needs from now on, I’m extremely impressed & coming here may even help me get over the chair anxiety eventually! Thank you again Dr. Kav

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I've been seriously needing to see a dentist due to needing a tooth removed but im terrified of dentist due to a very traumatic experience at other dentist so avoided it for so long as my anxiety around dentistis are so bad. Then i seen all the amazing reviews about Dr Kav on social media so i decided to call up and book an appointment in. Went in met him a few days later, he listen to my concerns, kept reassuring me that I was okay throughout the whole process stopped if I need to calm down and relax, within a couple of minutes into the procedure he sat me up and it was done... Couldn't thank him and the services anymore its very hard to find a good dentist these days and so lucky this one is close to home too.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency today. I was very emotional, in a lot of pain and absolutely terrified of having to go to the Dentist. I chose Ashburton because a lot of people have recommended them on our local community chat page. Dr Shimma Hassan was so patient with me, understanding and actually listened to me and my extraordinary fear of the dentist. She explained everything beforehand and we did it in baby steps. Within 5 hrs my infected tooth was out. And I did not feel it one single bit.. !! They adjusted my partial plate to add a new tooth. And was on Antibiotics. I am now finally going to make arrangements with her to actually attend to what I’ve been putting off. The price was great and the service you get there is so welcoming comfortable and reassuring. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank You. And also to Ursula for making the admin side of it so efficient and being lovely.

Negative experience: My wife came in with unbelievable pain, it was to extract her tooth. The dentist I can see him made his own price in his head and charged $400, also as he looked at the tooth his reaction was really unprofessional, so me and my wife discussed and she didn't want to get it done with him because of the over pricing and the way the dentist conducted himself, so we called norada dental and they brought her in straight away and pulled the tooth for no more then $150. I was gob smacked at how that dentist conducted himself. Will never go back there and honestly watch the prices as he makes them up. Get quotes and you will see the diffrence. Appualing. See why he drives a silly mustang.

Fantastic experience: Great service, lovely receptionists but mainly fantastic work from the dentist and hygienist. Went to see dr stephanie tan for a check up and clean, id previously gone to a db dental in ellenbrook where not only was the clean painful but got quoted an insane price just for fillings, not to mention extra fillings i didnt need. My visit here was painless, the dental plan reasonable and based on preventative care rather than hammering me with procedures and with reasonable prices and good insurance coverage. Plus doctor steph was fantastic, 100 percent reccommend.

Fantastic experience: It mightn't look like much, but this is the best dentist I've ever been to! Dr Kav is great - straight forward explanations, doesn't push you into expensive options, and brilliant pain control! In the past I've needed 2 or even 3 local injections to stop the pain - Dr Kav gave just 1 and I didn't feel anything the whole way through!

Negative experience: Its a total no no. I went and saw Katherine Tan and she disinfected my tooth (1st stage of root canal). There was supposed to be no more pain after a day or so but the pain never went away.

Positive experience: I had a filling done by a Student that went wrong went and made an appointment with Katherine to get fixed but she could not fix it so went to another Dentist and they could not believe she did not or could not redo my tooth. From the moment you walk in, you are instantly given a warm welcome and best of all they don't keep you waiting. Dr Kath was friendly and very thorough and took the time to explain to me the process during my appointment and the personal after care I should practice. It was one of the most gentle clean I have had. It was also very refreshing to not have a Dr. rush through an appointment and actually bothers to go through every detail, making sure you walk out feeling confident. Fantastic experience: Had my teeth checked and cleaned on Grand opening day by Dr K Tan. Extremely happy with the service. Very gentle clean and extra care given to my sensitive teeth. Was told I was missing a filling which needed to be filled urgently. The whole procedure was explained clearly and I felt comfortable for her to proceed. I left my appointment with painless clean teeth, tooth filled and a BIG smile on my dial.
