Alfredton Dental Ballarat

Negative experience: I'm extremely disappointed in the ethics of this practice I got my all on fours here and the top are still perfect ten years on but they then went on to cheat me by doing the bottom lot in a plastic type material ( the tops are porcelin) so they are chipped and black and never in my life have I ever had black teeth and now I'm stuck paying $15000 for the entire bottom to be replaced. I don't have fifteen grand I paid for the teeth after being told they should last my life if looked after and I have done my part now I think it only fair they pay to put what I paid for into my mouth.☹️

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about having my infected tooth removed, but the Alfredton Dental team took such good care of me. Dr Karrona and Emma were such angels, they were gentle, supportive, and kind through every step. Thanks to them, what I feared turned into a truly positive experience . Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Alfredton Dental Clinic when we took our 8-year-old for a tooth extraction. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, making sure my child felt safe and at ease throughout the entire visit. The dentist explained everything in a calm, reassuring way and handled the procedure with great care and professionalism. It was clear they are very experienced with children. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and well-run. I’m so grateful for the gentle and compassionate care we received — highly recommend for families!

Fantastic experience: After suffering a gum infection and abscess out of the blue, the practice was so obliging and accommodating. I could not get into my regular dentist and was considering going to the hospital. Alfredton dental fit me in the same day and gave me a follow up appointment two days later for treatment. Fantastic experience: My 2 kids and I saw Dr Sharnam, he was awesome, had a positive, supportive attitude with my kids, put them at ease and communicated well with everything he did, my daughter handled her baby tooth extraction great because of him, it was her first extraction and she came away happy with the positive experience. Dr Sharnam cleaned my teeth perfectly with no discomfort, and did repair of my chipped tooth and adhesive restoration perfectly. Thanks heaps Dr Sharnam, you’re the best!

It was great to be treated like a participant in dental care. Tayla also explained the "hygiene" procedure. As a dental hygienist she could not have been more thorough. A very professional experience from reception to practitioners.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Sharnam Chopra is exceptional at what he does - Clearly passionate about his craft and has a kind and caring nature to go with it. He takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and explains things in great detail. Highly recommend. The reception girls have always been so pleasant and easy to deal with, especially Eve! The dental assistants are also very professional and accommodating. If you’re looking for a new dental practice, Alfredton Dental is the place.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous coming into my appointment, having not been to the dentist since I was a kid. Dr Jacobs and Jenna made the experience so comfortable and easy. I had drilling done and two fillings, and the process was a lot better than I anticipated. Thank you for calming my nerves and being patient with me!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Alfredton Dental more. Dr Sara and Lily went above and beyond for my 3yo's first dentist visit. They included her in everything, chatted away, gave her some gloves/ mask etc to play with and opportunity to use the mirror to look at my teeth/ 'paint' my teeth with a brush. They even offered to take photos of us playing 'dentist' (which I hadn't thought to do). At the end they gave my 3yo a bag of little goodies so we could play dentist at home. Needless to say, we've been playing dentist ever since getting home. Furthermore, neither were judgemental of the fact I haven't been to a dentist since moving to Ballarat (10 years ago). Dr Sara explained her reasoning for what she was doing and had such clear communication. Thank you! We'll be back.

Fantastic experience: It’s not often in life you can say you have been to the dentist and have walked out with a smile on your face especially, after a root canal. Dr Tom Webb worked a miracle in my mouth. He completed the whole root canal in one session, well over an hour but I experienced no pain and he explained each step along the way and what noises, drills etc that I would hear. I felt very relaxed knowing that he was in full control of the procedures. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, highly skilled dentist at a very reasonable price.

Negative experience: Told by these people to have a child's tooth fixed asap make the appointment then wait weeks to have a call the day before to cancel and can't give another one for a month even though they said it can't wait now have to find someone else in the mean time child in pain can't eat. This is not good enough in my opinion. I most certainly DO have the correct clinic as state the appt was for a child not myself so of course you don't have me booked in! You did NOT try to help you offered an appt that was weeks away from now as a substitute even though it was your clinic staff that insisted on have this seen to urgently, we waited weeks for this appointment and you cancelled it the day before if I had done this to you I would have been liable for a fee as it's under the 24hr time frame but for you there is NO accountability and I still have a child in Pain & Unable to EAT!

Fantastic experience: I have a dental phobia, as do so many others...After breaking my tooth/filling, I was fitted in very quickly (which was great as I was a new patient). I saw Dr Anna..she was gentle, explained what she was doing and made me feel comfortable. I left with a smile (somewhat lopsided) as I have now found my go to dentist...she was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: So there are dentists, and then there is Tom. Dr Thomas Webb is the best dentist in the world. He is the only dentist who has ever made me feel truly comfortable. He has a great sense of humour, wonderful technical skills and always puts his clients interest ahead of his own. I don’t care where Tom goes, I’ll be following him for all of my dental care. And you should as well. Seriously. This guy is the best. I am a bit disappointed that he wouldn’t let me have a turn of his laser, but I guess that is understandable. He’s also not stingy when it comes to those little travel tubes of toothpaste. All in all, 100/10. Great service. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed (as long as you aren’t going just so you can play with a laser).

I’ve had a few panic attacks in the chair and he is very comforting, patient and understanding. I’ve never had any issues with any of his work unlike other dentists I’ve gone to in the past. I highly recommend seeing Dr Jacobs at Alfredton Dental. I’ll definitely follow him no matter where he goes.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience, very gentle and streamlined service. I required several cavities to be repaired which I asked if they could be all done in one sitting, which they accommodated. Once the anaesthetic wore off, I did not feel any lingering pain. In addition, they are very competitively priced. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
