Fantastic experience: Nice friendly staff and zero pain

Negative experience: I am not one to normally complain but my last two visits of which I have been on time I have had to wait 40 and 30 minutes respectively. Not good as we all have things to do as well.

Positive experience: Swan is fabulous. I had implant & very happy. Staff are all polite & do a good job

The dental and hygienist staff are very caring and do the utmost to make my visit pleasant. I wouldn't go anywhere else since I have started seeing my dentist at National Dental Care at Salisbury. Please check this place out the next time you are looking for a dentist. You won't regret it!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for a few years now, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. My dentist TeeNi Chua is amazing! She explains every step during my appointment. She takes the time to ensure I understand my oral health, thoroughly explaining any pictures or scans. I’ve never felt rushed or like “just another patient” in her busy day. She always gives me time during my appointment to ask any questions and makes sure I understand what I’m doing well/ what I need to do more of between appointments.

Fantastic experience: Can honestly say this is the most considerate, friendly and highly professional dental surgery I have ever attended. From the receptionists, to the most caring and gentle Dr Tee-Ni Chua and her assistant I was made to feel so relaxed, that a highly anxious visit for me, ended up with me feeling so relaxed and pleased with myself, but more so with the great team that totally looked after me. To cap this off I received a follow-up phone call the next day to make sure I was OK. Would feel confident recommending this surgery to anyone at all, particularly if you are like me, a nervous patient.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at National Dental Care Salisbury with Dr. Kumar, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. He didn’t take the time to properly find the best match for my composite shade and didn’t make any effort to help with my request. I ended up visiting another dentist, who was super friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to assist me. I really wish I hadn’t gone to National Dental Care Salisbury in the first place. I'm not sure about other dentists at this centre but try not to make an appointment with Dr. Pankaj Kumar.

Fantastic experience: Got me in quick after a cancellation. Very happy with the care , I have destroyed my teeth by grinding them , so started getting them fixed. Had two repaired a couple of days ago and can honestly say had no pain. So more than happy to go get the rest done over a period of time.

Positive experience: Update: 30/03/2025 Saraan reached out and we had a discussion about my recent experience. Saraan had another dentist look at the x-rays taken and able to clarified a lot of the confusion that happened in the first appointment. Now I understand the treatment I had is the best option for me. Really grateful that they took the matter seriously and reached out to ensure that everything is ok. ---------------------------------------------------- Came in for appointment for a toothache. The clinic looks very nice, modern, clean and receptionist are nice. Unfortunately the dentist that treated me did not listen to what I was said about the issue with the tooth that is in pain. Said another tooth was the causing issues after an x-ray and some test but did not give any reason without being questioned from me. I decided to go with what they believe was best for me. Did do a good job with the filling of the other tooth I was not having any pain with. Left the clinic feeling unsatisfied and still experiencing tooth pain.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 recent visits. I can honestly say the Lady Dentist Dr Xuan was extremely caring and empathetic as I suffer from anxiety. She explained everything to me step by step.The detail assistant also was pleasant. The reception staff were welcoming. I would highly recommend this practice Karen Stanton

Positive experience: Friendly staff & good service I see Dr Chua & she is very nice & friendly & they send u reminder txt when your appointment is due & the dentist I see goes through everything with u at the end of the apppointment showing u X rays etc of work done & any other work needed & tell u the gap u will pay if any extra dental work needed ! I will say when I have my teeth cleaned I would like something done like numbing gel or something so I don’t feel any sensitivity when they clean them as some of my teeth are very sensitive & does hurt a bit during the clean other than that happy with it all & there prices seem pretty good compared to some other places ! They have several practices around so it’s convenient which ever area u live in I recommend the Salisbury branch if u live in the area !

Fantastic experience: Excellent service! Dr. Prashant Patel is an amazing doctor, I have got rid of my Two wisdom teeth and calculus removal in just about two weeks, and I only felt pain for half a day. Fair price for there great dental services. Must recommend National dental care, Salisbury!

Positive experience: The dental work was fine, however, receiving money back from this place is not smooth. Before my dental work began I credited my account with $8000 to cover all potential costs. I ended up having a surplus after the work was complete. It's now Christmas and I thought I would get back for a good Christmas, now it's stuffed and don't see the money coming in to next year now. I couldn't even go there and redeem cash, not a good look when you need money for this time of year. Definitely pay as you go, this should be a very simple transaction, I gave them $8000 with my debit card that took about 2 seconds and being a Friday I see no hope of seeing the money. Honourable.

Very very good at her job and also understands some people are petrified going to a dentist. Every other staff member there that I’ve dealt with has been just the same in regards to being very understanding and totally non judgmental of personal situations. Fantastic experience: Dr Daniel Baume is very friendly he explained everything he was doing. As a nervous patient he made feel at ease had a bad experience at a dentist years ago. He has a great sense of humour along with the nurse's. Reception staff are warm and welcoming . I would highly recommend National Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to this clinic yesterday and was very impressed. Everything ran like clockwork and the reception staff were very friendly especially Marissa. The dentist Daniel and assistant Suzanne were so personable, down to earth and made me feel at ease. They were both so cheerful, polite and clearly really enjoy their work. I highly recommend to anyone unhappy with their current practice to switch to National Dental Care at Salisbury - you won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: Very dodgy. went for a regular check up and clean up. A Chinese dentist spent 2 minutes to check my teeth before doing a very fast clean up. I booked the appointment two weeks before hand and they charged me for emergency check-up. Went again in two weeks time for a filling as told by the dentist in the last check up. Same dentist charged me for check up again even though no check up wad done. Dodgy dentist volunteered to take some picture of my teeth and charged my insurance. Not recommended at all. Below average treatment. Transparency, honesty, and punctuality are missing from their service.

Negative experience: Focused on maximizing the bill. Charges for service that hasn't been provided or hasn't been required. I respect a street begger, cannot respect a thief.

Negative experience: Incompetent and thieving. They no professional ethics and will rip you off. Do not go to this practice. They falsified an SA Dental (Government) form and charged me 25% over the maximum allowable charge - insisting on cash - and they did not do any work apart from the (meant to be) free clean. Do not trust this practice.

Negative experience: I was extremely happy with the dental service I got up until yesterday when the receptionist cancelled an appointment I made a week prior because I didn't answer my phone and return her calls. Sorry but i was at work and unable to answer my phone. I too am in the medical industry and being a previous dental nurse. I find this just appauling. They had time the day of the appointment to contact me 4 hours to be exact. Now I am in pain and have to wait another two weeks to see a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Went a while back for a chipped tooth. I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but was made to feel so comfortable and at ease. Was talked through everything and nothing came as a suprise! Definitely will be a repeat customer and plan on taking ny family also!

Positive experience: Attended to by a Brilliant dentist. Very informative, friendly and real down to earth honest person. Kept me informed the whole time and was very sympathetic to my plight. Unfortunately the assistant failed to acknowledge me by name, or even remotely attempted to try to pronounce my name, when requesting me from the waiting room. I advised the dentist that it was quite rude of her to not acknowledge my name, even if it sounded or looked a little foreign to her. Considering her name would have been different, she was from Asian background, it showed a lack of care. She did make up for it with reasonably good performance assisting the dentist. My preference would be to educate her that it’s ok to get it wrong, as long as you try, but to not try at all, shows just a little lack of respect for the patient/customer.

Positive experience: Not happy, 1st time in over 20 years. Had a chipped front lower tooth fixed by dentist I’ve never seen before as usual dentist on leave. Chip was behind the tooth. Now the tooth is shorter, slopes on an angle & there is a gap. Tooth ended up rough & gum swollen. Certainly not result I was expecting especially for a superficial chip. Karen was great in arranging for another dentist to improve it. Still need to see what else can be done but now lost confidence. Not happy with dentist Daniel’s work & won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to thank the incredible dentist and dental nurse that extracted my horrible tooth this afternoon, I can't remember names but mine is Tonia and you both were so kind and I felt no pain during this procedure due to their kindness and many years of experience they have. Fantastic experience: I have been having treatment here for the past 3 weeks. The staff from the receptionist to Dentist and assistants are just so friendly and very caring. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Positive experience: Really great to deal with. Called up first thing in the morning and they got me in there and then. Dentist was amazing dealing with me squirm and carry on (hate needles & sounds of drills etc) and remained professional at all times. My son came with me and they were happy to take him to do some drawing until I was done. Happy client.

Negative experience: Was quoted $150 for a filling and upto $300 for an extraction over the phone and was charged $377 for a filling.... Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth!!!

Fantastic experience: First time patient, an aged pensioner with allergies and medical issues so was very worried. Was treated extremely well. My issues were listened to and acted upon which made the tooth extraction extremely comfortable. Will stay with Dr. Sofia Zhu as my dentist. Thank you for the care you showed me today.

Negative experience: Will not assist those on a pension with a health care referal, "voucher", outlining the government's contribution of fees for dental service. Most disappointing & hurtful. Humiliating. This is how we treat pensioners now?
