Unfortunately I had to have an extraction but I seriously could not believe when (the lovely japanese DR su-? Sorry I forgot name) Told me that it's done.(completely pain free) Thankyou so much you have enlightened my view on going to get any work done and highly recommend the professional efficiency in getting the job done

Fantastic experience: After an extensive search for a Dentist, I found Ballina Dental Group. From my first point of contact with the lovely Jo, I was put at ease. I have always hated going to Dentists because they always made fun of my teeth. Dr Leo, was an eye opener as a Dentist. Very welcoming and very genytly spoken. He had a long chat with me afer I explained my teeth issues, Leo explained what he could do for me and how long it would take. We had a really good conversation and then he handed me over to the lovely Jo, who again put me at ease. Explaining how everything worked from the financial point to the after care etc. Jo, like all the staff are very warm friendly and welcoming. 10/04/25, I had my first teeth clean up with Leo, he was very gentle and kept me informed all the way. As I am on crutches, all the staff made sure I was well looked after. 17/04/25 the BIG DAY, had arrived. Again I was warmly received by all the staff and then Leo, came to get me. He again in his very gentle manner explained what he was going to do. From the start to the finish, Leo and his team were EXCELLENT, explaning all the time what they were doing. I was at the clinic from 9 am to 4 pm. The staff including Leo, kept popping in to make sure I was comfortable and explained what they were doing. Around 3:30 pm, Leo and team were back to fit in my new teeth!! Ohhh my GOSH, I was so happy that it took all my strength and willpower not to bust into tears!! Finally I have teeth that I am no longer ashamed of. I did take a few pictures on my phone, but at the moment I can't seem to find them. I will post them soon but for now VERY BIG THANK YOU TO LEO AND HIS AMAZING TEAM....THANK YOU THANK YOU. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BALLINA DENTAL GROUP.

He has a kind, gentle approach and explains everything he is going to do. He is in tune with anxiety and sensory issues and skilfully works to dispel any worries or fears. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Coolangatta Dental in Ballina for the past few years and have found all the staff to be friendly and respectful. I won't go as far as saying I enjoy going to the dentist but I definitely don't feel anxious going there. They always take the time to explain what they are going to do and what options if any are available and then what the expected outcomes and ongoing care might be. I have had one emergency visit with them and they were able to quickly order and then fit a crown for me when most businesses were closed for holidays. Thank you to the team for providing excellent service and for doing whatever they can to make my visits as pleasant as possible.

I get quiet a bit of anxiety at the dentist and it makes such a big difference knowing I'm in good hands with people who genuinely care. I saw Saif at my last visit and can not reccomend him enough. Very thorough with his consultation, very insitful about any future requirements and very caring and understanding about my anxieties.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is the most helpful, informative and friendly dentist I’ve ever been to and I’ve to so many. I wasn’t sure how to get to the office at first but when I rang and asked them, they were happy to provide information as well as pictures about where to go so from even before I left work, I felt at ease rocking up to my appointment. They always asked me if I was doing okay, assured me of any doubts I had, informed me about what they were going to do and answered any questions I had as well as having a little laugh as well. It also didn’t feel like I was paying for things I don’t need as some dentists will tell you anything to get you to pay extra. I didn’t feel ripped off! The team made me feel comfortable about my first dental visit in 2 years and my first visit to this office in Ballina. I’m glad I picked the right dentist and I will continue anything dental with them. I highly recommend! Thanks team :D

Even though most people are a bit nervous about the thought of going to the dentist, including myself, knowing that I’m going to see the wonderful team here makes it far less daunting. As soon as I walk in I feel at ease and cared for. From Kim’s warm smile and welcome at reception, to Bernard’s expertise, professionalism, sparkling eyes and gentle nature, and his happy nurses taking care of me. It feels like such lovely atmosphere to be a part of whenever I come in. I have been seeing Bernard as my dentist for about 15years, and I’ll be hard pressed to ever have to change. He is a wonderful dentist who is so helpful and caring. He is very highly revered and regarded by all the other patients who I know see him as well. He is a master of his art!!!

Explained everything they were doing as they were doing it and made me feel so relieved I started wondering why I was anxious in the first place. I highly recommend this practice. Lovely administration lady Kim made booking appointments a breeze as well. I've now booked my next appointment along with my daughters one too. Very happy with the service.

Fantastic experience: Eighteen months ago I moved to Northern Rivers from Melbourne and first met Dr Bernard Campbell, at Coolangatta Dental Group in Ballina in March 2021. I had broken a crown, and chosen to repair it rather than replace it. Having already experienced two unsuccessful appointments with a dentist elsewhere, I was anxious, and armed with a description from my Melbourne dentist on the correct way to repair the break!! What impressed me immediately was that Bernard listened with real attention and respect, then asked questions. Right from the start, he communicated clearly describing the options. And throughout the appointment he let me know what he was doing at each part of the procedure. I appreciated that he worked as gently, slowly, and carefully as possible. I also noticed that he and his assistant, Amy, worked with a seamless rapport so everything went smoothly. I was in very good hands. For many of us, going to the dentist can be distressing. So I need my dentist to have extensive experience, a natural ease and sense of humour, to respect my questions and concerns and, to ensure I fully understand, take time to answer in detail and show me on the x-ray if necessary. My expectations were fully met, and I left the appointment feeling happy and relieved. Eventually I did replace the repair with another crown. With all the work done on that tooth over the years, it has needed a lot of follow up care over the last two months to check it is continuing to heal (all included in the crown fee). As part of this still ongoing process, the customer service and administration team has also been excellent. I was quite surprised to receive a phone call after each appointment, asking how the tooth was settling, was there any pain, and making it clear I was to return for a check-up if I felt any concern at all. In summary: a top-notch dental care and customer service experience.
