Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Hasan Askari, for your patience and great service. This was my first dental app in quite some time due to fear and nerves. Dr Hasan made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while he checked my teeth and as it had been a long time my teeth needed some care. After he had finished I was amazed at what a beautiful job he had done. For the first time in a very long time I felt like I wanted to smile. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Have been attending this practice since I was a young girl. Had a positive experience always and the staff was very polite and professional and taken good care of me. The staff were gentle during my treatment and the procedure felt painless and I truly appreciated the way the staff took care of me. They also helped me give professional tips on how to correctly take care of dental hygiene which greatly helped me in fulture.

Fantastic experience: My go to place for checkups. Just had a wisdom tooth removed and the staff were very reassuring and friendly, highly recommend!

Negative experience: Came and had a filling and surface/adhesive restoration done, and along with a clean and a 10-second examination prior, I was in and out within a half hour as the female dentist was also manning the front desk. Unsurprisingly, my fillings starting breaking apart on the first bite I took when I got home. I went back twice to state what had happened and that the issue had not been resolved. The male dentist had a quick look both times and denied anything was needed and what broke off could have been from old fillings (which was not the case). I cut my losses and went down the road to Sydenham Dental Group, who were far more professional. Needless to say, an x-ray revealed that part of the filling had broken off, and what was left was not secure. My advice to you is, stay well away from 5-Star Dental - they got one star because I couldn't give zero stars.

It is always welcoming and friendly environment with staff being very courteous. I’ve been treated for a broken tooth few years back and had no issues around it ever. I felt extremely comfortable through out the whole process. Dr Hassan is extremely professional and gentle. I would strongly suggest his service.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending 5 Star Dental regularly for checkups for myself and my children and I'm absolutely satisfied with every visit and appreciate the amount of care they show. I have had two tooth extraction and I've recieved excellent care as I've been in great pain during that period. I appreciate them for providing me with the detailed after care plan. Dr Hassan has given a very thorough explanation about how to improve dental hygiene to my kids, which helped them develop a good routine. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dentist I have visited. From the instant I entered, all of the staff were welcoming and patient given I was a new patient. The dentist and dental nurse were very careful and precise as I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort. They explained in a very understandable manner what was being done and made great conversation, making them so personable. As well as this, the pricing was truly beyond belief and to top off my experience, they included a package to take home! All in all, I could not recommend 5 Star Dental any more! They are genuinely perfect and I will definitely be returning soon.

Negative experience: Not good with kids and did a lousy job and had to refill the cavity of my son in 3 months. 19th Feb update Please check in the name of Antony Ashin You will see you charged me $120 . Not only the filling came off the infection on his molar has further deepend . The pain he had to undergo because of your shoddy job is what's heartbreaking. Thanks but no thanks won't be coming back. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We were on the search for a local dentist to take our kids to and found 5 star Dental online, based on reviews we decided to make an appointment - that was two years ago and we have been taking our preschooler kids to Dr Hassan for check ups and other dental emergencies ever since. He is great with children, helping them to feel comfortable and relaxed during any procedure. Professional and friendly. Highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hasan is an excellent dentist. I have to travel quite a distance to see him but he is worth it. I feel like I am in great hands. He has given me valuable advice about looking after my teeth and some really helpful general healthcare tips too. I have gotten into a good habit of having 6 monthly check ups and a clean to prevent any teeth/gum issues getting out of hand. I hate electric teeth cleaning equipment so Dr Hasan cleans my teeth manually for me. I'm so glad he does. It is so much better.

Negative experience: I had a cracked tooth which needed to be removed, they were going to charge me $2500 for a tooth removal. Down the road charged me $300 Edit to response. I was very surprised at first and did have to ask him to twice to confirm as I didn't have those funds a available

Fantastic experience: I have found my new family dentist! I couldn't be happier with the treatment I received from Dr. Hasan. He is not only professional but very personable, honest, easy to talk to and just seems to be a really good person. He was reassuring, kind and explained everything. All my nerves were put at ease and I was delighted to hear that I only required a replacement filling, not a veneer as previously quoted by another dentist. The staff are lovely and friendly and the clinic is immaculate. I would recommend Dr. Hasan and his team to anyone. He is definitely the best dentist I have ever been to!

Fantastic experience: I am definitely not a fan of going to the dentist, I have to take Valium before I go it’s that bad, not that it makes any difference!!! HOWEVER I have to say the treatment I got at 5 Star Dental in Sydenham was EXCEPTIONAL specifically Dr Smita Hasan! She was so kind and patient with me, she told most things that were going to be done and wisely kept things I didn’t need to know about so as not to freak me out. She kept checking in on me while she was working asking if I was going ok or if I needed a break. As someone who has a genuine fear I couldn’t have been in better hands!! Even the other Dentist kept checking in seeing if I was all good and if Dr Smita needed anything. They put music on as a distraction for me which also helped. I had my two wisdom teeth on the top and one on the bottom extracted, Dr Smita was wonderful at getting them out and they were quite difficult being so big, ,, I was literally shaking in the chair and she patiently waited and helped calm and assure me before she pulled them out. I would 100% recommended 5 Star Dentist to anyone who needs a visit to the dentist they are professional, the practice was immaculate, they are kind and very caring towards their patients not only when in the chair but I even received a follow up call the next day to see how I was going which I really appreciated!!!! BRILLIANT DENTIST when I’m next due I will definitely be back there and for someone who has a genuine fear that is easy for me to say

Negative experience: Worst experience ever, I got my tooth extraction procedure before the pandemic event. I had pain but they wouldn't believe me as they kept telling me it is the "pressure"feeling only not pain. Not good and no follow up call after the appointment I ended up went to another Dentist in St Albans and the job was done without any issues. Thanks for your response on 18/6/20. Fristly, you chose to defer the procedure . Secondly, you provided antibiotic to me which is part of the treatment and youayou initiated local anesthetic. If you said you didn't call me because no treatment was provided. Then this is completely wrongly, as I still paid for that part of the treatment around $120 , in my opinion this is poor communication with customer. A follow up call should be done if your customer is not satisfy with your services without any excuses. Thirdly, your dentist failed to complete a simple tooth extraction, how can I trust you to come back for more complicated procedures. I do not judge anyone but hope they can learn to improve and make it better. In my conclusion, I m still not happy with your response.

Fantastic experience: Had a very positive experience today at 5 star dental clinic, needed to have a tooth extracted. The receptionist was really nice and friendly and the dentist was really gentle and explained what will be done and asked me if I was ok several times throughout the whole process. I "hate" the dentist but I must say I felt really comfortable and reassured with this dentist. I will definitely take my children there for their checkups soon and I have already booked an appointment in 2 weeks for a cleaning for myself.

Fantastic experience: Talking about dental phobia...I am extremely extremely nervous to the point my anxiety is taking over my body that I always squeeze my hands together so hard. However, I felt comfortable here, not that I could fall asleep but at least I could breathe, feel safe and I was confident in my doctor's (Samita) skills from the beginning to the end. She was very kind, polite, and informative with what needed to be done, but she was not pushy. I also was impressed with her ability to calm my nerves while extracting my wisdom tooth. The Whole staff including receptionist were all excellent in their service. I would be coming back and referring all my friends and relatives to come here. The check in - check out process was quick and easy. I wish I could give them 10 stars, because there was almost no pain the whole time I was on her chair. Davina

Negative experience: Worst service ever received. Was having pain and new i got a rotten tooth. Told them I have pain and i prefer it to be extracted. She did x-ray and then extracted the tooth. And when I went to the desk to pay, the receptionist telling me that the very next tooth to got inflammation as well and I have to soon fix this one too. And I said when Dentist took the X-ray and knew about it then Why she didn't told me about it and why you are telling me when I am leaving. Dentist could have asked me if i want to fix it and this much I can end up paying if doing 2 teeth together. After the extraction I started feeling worse as hot and cold started effecting me alot. Which was not the case before. A month after while I was eating bread a piece of teeth came in my mouth. Another decayed tooth's piece came out. I thought of when that doctor did xRay and was looking into my mouth, why she didn't see other teeth which needs the treatment and just let me go with the tooth extraction. Either she just know the cleaning and extraction of teeth. Thats it. I use to take my kids there too but not any more. Already started telling my friends not to go there.

Negative experience: Worse experience had to wait 40mins over my booking time, just because I just needed a clean not a check he didn't want to give me any advise or even to tell me if my teeth are good or not and to top it off they didn't even give me water afterwards to clean my mouth his like swallow it what all the blood and what's left over in my mouth??? Worse 120 I've ever spent. I don't give them any stars. So inconsiderate!!
