Negative experience: I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my visit to this clinic today. The receptionist I dealt with at the front desk was unfortunately very rude and dismissive. When I approached her to ask for assistance with my booking and patient form, she responded with an attitude and at times ignored my questions entirely. It was disappointing to experience this kind of behaviour, especially in a medical setting where a supportive and respectful environment should be expected. I hope this can be addressed so that future interactions with patients are handled more professionally & others can avoid such experiences as well. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Bupa Dental Blacktown. This was my first visit to the practice, and the online booking system was easy to navigate. Vanessa was very thorough during my general check-up and cleaning. It was my first appointment with her, and I would definitely return. Negative experience: A few months ago, I booked for three consecutive appointments for my dependents during the school holidays. I wanted a fourth appointment but there was no availability which is fine. Exactly a week before the appointments, I received the sms confirmation prompts to which I individually responded Y. Four days later, I received an sms confirmation for the last appointment which was pushed forward by 10 minutes. Then an hour later, I received a message that that same appointment has been pushed forward by another 10 minutes. I call reception to say that I haven’t made the change and to confirm: 1. The last appointment was brought forward by 20 minutes. 2. All my dependents’ 30 minute appointments are now 20 minutes. 3. Assuming there’s an age and session time correlation, why not book 20 min sessions in the first place? Why confirm 30 minutes sessions a week out from the appointment? 4. I had a hunch that the last appointment time was freed up so I asked for that time to be given to me as they’ve compressed my family’s dental sessions and I requested for that time months ago. It can’t be given to me because it’s already booked and allocated to someone else. 5. What I have understood from this interaction is that my dependents’ session times were cut to 2/3s of the time (even though they need the full time for reasons I won’t disclose online). 6. I would be fine to have shorter sessions if that’s how it goes, not to free up for a last minute booking. I’ve been told that the manager would respond yesterday but that didn’t happen. I received more confirmation messages today and I’ve called again and now the manager is on leave and will call me next week (which is after the appointments). I said that I would post my experiences because it doesn’t help to be contacted after the appointments. This is a wider systemic issue as it’s actually not the first time this has happened to me. The only difference is that I’ve caught on it.

The Blacktown location is incredibly convenient, nestled right inside Westpoint Shopping Centre, which makes appointments easy to fit into our day. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed with warmth and friendliness. The staff are genuinely lovely, and the ambience is calm and relaxed—which is a rare and wonderful thing in a dental clinic! I’ve been seeing him for years and every time he is extremely attentive, kind, professional, informative and makes sure I feel at ease at every step. He clearly explains every treatment option available and guides me to be able to make the best decision for myself. Even when giving the needle I didn’t feel a thing! He really takes his time and guides me through the whole process. I’ve never felt more cared for and comfortable at the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Bupa Blacktown for years. And on every visit they never cease to exceed my expectations. The reception staff are always polite, welcoming and kind and the dental assistants are awesome. I see Dr Mark and sometimes Dr Jacob. They both did major work on me from extractions to Root Canals etc.. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and gentle throughout my visits. During my last visit, Dr Mark did an excellent job extracting my wisdom tooth with no complications. He was very gentle and kept checking on me during the entire procedure making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Bupa Blacktown if you are looking for a professional and compassionate dental care. Dr Mark even called me the next day to check on my recovery which I really found very nice. Thank you so much Bupa Blacktown for having such an amazing dentists and staff working there.

Negative experience: So disappointed. People are so dismissive. No one explained to me how things works. They assume that I know. With a procedure, there should be informed consent. Not a surprise thing. Amazingly root canal means root canal alone without filling. And no I did not know this, the reception quoted me with root canal alone didn’t explain on top of that another charge for filling the tooth. If I could’ve known this, I just went through with everything. So I don’t go back and forth. I’m so confused. Just going to finish this procedure and will find another one. Had root canal, it means killing the nerve. Instead of improving comfort! Worsen. Now I can’t bite on my left side. Informed receptionist about the pain to inform Dr. Loga. Never got a response. Last time I visited I just consented on a certain procedure. Dr. Loga was very unhappy, and suggested to inform him prior since he double booked me. The reason I did not consent is I don’t have enough money. Finally he said he is not concerned with aesthetic looks, but never asked my opinion about it. So now I found a new clinic which is not only good at the initial consult. But also know how to look after me and my family with the following visit.

Fantastic experience: I would like to express my thanks to Dr Mark Loga, amazing dentist who was assist me with everything regarding my dental health. For context I hadn’t visited a dentist in over 7 years, he was able to make my check and up and clean very comfortable, constantly assessing if I was okay throughout the process. Didn’t know what direction to go with my dental health, he urged me of a few options I could sit on and think about and informed me how to take better care of my teeth and any future protection. At no point did Dr Mark Loga pressure me into any procedure and only guided me into what I thought was best based on his information. I was even late on arrival at the clinic and from sign up process to payment everything was a great experience, scheduling the next appointment was great too, thank you to the kind receptionists at blacktown! Negative experience: I recently visited this dental practice and saw Dr Shabnam for wisdom tooth pain, hoping for relief. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Instead of addressing my pain, the dentist focused on an extensive cleaning, which only worsened my discomfort. It became evident that the primary goal was financial gain rather than patient care. Upon calling calling her third day regarding pain she told me to go to emergency hospital at night, and i did only to find theirs no dentist at nights, so I suffered that night and next morning i got my tooth taken out by different dentist as she wanted me to wait until her next availability Lack of empathy and patient-centered care Prioritization of profit over well-being Pain exacerbated after the cleaning

He conducted a very comprehensive check-up and clean along with a very thorough explanation of the state of my dentition. His attention to detail and meticulousness were impressive and his reassuring and calm demeanour makes it easy to have a dental check-up, even for those that are on the apprehensive side prior to visiting the dentist. I was impressed with the state-of-the-art facility and the OPG imaging used to provide a detailed look at my teeth. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful in booking my appointment and ensuring I was reminded of the appointment time. Overall a brilliant experience!

Negative experience: Bupa dental Blacktown, one of the worst dental clinics I have ever visited. As I have visited three dentists in this clinic, the dentists are unprofessional and not able to carry out any dental procedures properly. Though they will just practice on you and then they will send you to the specialist for very simple things that a dentist should be able to do. I have visited Dr. Jacob Loga for a cleaning but he recommended to do a root canal on one of my teeth which I never had any issue with. So next appointment booked and he has done a root canal procedure on one of my teeth but it went terribly wrong, the tooth got infected and inflammation twice and he prescribed antibiotics twice which did not help at all. I had so much pain that I even could not eat or drink anything, after visiting him several times complaining about the pain and inflammation then I was sent to a specialist. The specialist said that the root canal was not done and cleaned properly, therefore, the specialist had to do the root canal properly again which was not done thoroughly at the first time which caused the inflammation, so finally I ended up paying more than $2000 just for a root canal along with being in pain and infection for a long time. Very frustrating, unpleasant and unsatisfied experience with the service provided by this clinic. I do not understand how Bupa hires such unqualified dentists who are not able to provide any dental service at all

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually enjoy going to the dentist but Bupa Dental Blacktown is something special - everything from the practice fitout, the professional reception staff and excellent clinicians. My last appointment was with Ivana who did a great job cleaning my teeth, showing me how to improve my dental health and leaving me with an incredibly positive experience. Looking forward to putting in the work and coming back in six months to check on my progress. My only disappointment is not being able to give more than 5 stars.

Negative experience: SUBJECT: Unpleasant Experience at Bupa Blacktown Dental Centre I would like to share my recent experience at the Bupa Blacktown Dental Centre, which has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by Dr. Jacob Loga. This morning, I visited the Bupa Blacktown Dental Centre to have my veneer examined, as I suspected it might have been damaged during a dental cleaning procedure carried out by a hygienist the previous day. Dr. Jacob Loga had scheduled an appointment with me for 10 AM. However, his behaviour during this visit was far from what I expected. Upon my arrival, Dr. Loga greeted me with a sarcastic tone, asking if I had an appointment that day. I found his demeanour quite strange and unprofessional. He seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns about the veneer and repeatedly insisted that there was nothing wrong with it. What was even more disheartening was the way Dr. Loga questioned me in a rude and confrontational manner in front of his assistant. He implied that discussing my issues with the receptionist had somehow made her uncomfortable or scared. I want to clarify that I have never spoken rudely to any staff member at the Bupa Blacktown Dental Centre, and I even inquired with the receptionist on my way out about this issue, to which she appeared genuinely surprised by Dr. Loga's comments. I feel compelled to express my extreme disappointment with this experience, particularly as I have been a loyal customer of Bupa for over 25 years. It is disheartening that a single visit with Dr. Jacob Loga has left such a negative impression that I am now reconsidering my continued association with Bupa for any future dental treatments. I believe that a professional and respectful approach to patient concerns and customer service should be the cornerstone of any reputable healthcare facility. It is with great regret that I must declare my intention to seek dental care elsewhere due to the unprofessional conduct exhibited by Dr. Jacob Loga. For those who may be considering dental services at Bupa Blacktown Dental Centre, I hope this review helps in making an informed decision.

Negative experience: Dr Hamta Yaghmaei, is by far the worst dentist. I went for a simple cleaning procedure and she chipped my tooth in the process, she didn’t tell me but I could feel it, after my clean I queried her, she laughed at me and said not to worry, it’s not chipped. After further consultations with another doctor it has been confirmed that her incompetence is what caused my tooth to become chipped. This doctor studied and practiced in Iran before australia. This was the excuse offered by the reception, that she wasn’t comfortable with the way it’s done in australia. If you are not comfortable with someones teeth don’t work on them. Absolutely gutted and disappointed. Dr HAMTA YAGHMAEI you failed me. You should lose your license.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Jacob Loga yesterday to have Root Canal. He made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in. Very friendly, honest and explained the whole procedure. He kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay. I'm one very happy customer who will return late next month for the next procedure. Thank you Dr Loga and staff for such a pleasant experience :)

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this Dental Clinic. Dr Mark Loga is a Master Class Dentist. A couple of months ago I felt pain in my left lower jaw stemming from one of the far end molars. Dr Mark examined the pain area and decided on a course of action after pinpointing the source and reason. Thanks to Dr Mark, now I can eat on my left side as well as the right. I have no pain anymore.

Negative experience: Receptionist was very rude because I was late for my baby's appointment. She acted like my mother ' didn't you think to call us'. Sorry, I know that I should have, but that's not the way talk to the customers.

Starting from Administration staff to my treating Doctor Senuri Amaraweea, I received excellent customer service. Dr. Senuri provided excellent & superior care to my dental needs. She does have a very holistic approach to her patients & the care I received from her was amazing.

The Practice is always very clean, spic and span. My treating doctor, Dr Senuri Amaraweera, is world class. Her treatment is with great finesse, makes you feel very comfortable, provides concise advice on the issue and care needed, is well aware of all your previous treatment and issues, gives you options and flexibility, highly efficient and very confident and speedy in execution. Negative experience: I went for routine dental clean but now I am NOT ABLE TO CHEW even nuts with my right side teeth. I regret my decision of going here for a dental treatment. Here is my experience, On July 21 - I got appointment for yearly dental cleaning here. After cleaning, I was told that I have cavities at right teeth (two or three) and can be treated (at this time I did not have any problem in chewing with my right side teeth). On Aug 5, I went for filling the cavities here. After the filling treatment, I started getting sensitiveness even when I do flossing my right teeth. Next day I called this place, I was told that give a week time to heal itself. After a week there was no improvement. They gave me an appointment to check this, I was told let us wait for another week. Again after a week no improvement, got another appointment went there the Dr did some height adjustment on the fillings he did. No improvement, I got another appointment went there the Dr did a height adjustment again and he said the issue is fixed. If the issue still exists give it a longer time like a month. Even after a month if it persists we need to do root canal. (Went for filling cavities and now in a very bad situation) Now I do not know what I have to do :(

Negative experience: Lovely reception staff, uncaring dentists. If you are worried or prone to panic attacks do not bother going here. As soon as I started to worry my dentist turned cold and inconsiderate, the saving grace was the reception staff being so lovely about it all.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I have avoided going to the dentist due to phobia, anxiety and panic attacks with any type of medical procedure. I went a few weeks ago to BUPA Blacktown for my initial check up and dental plan. As soon as I walked in the beautiful staff at the reception desk were so kind and understanding of my anxieties. Such beautiful people. I was fortunate to be treated by Dr Michael George. He is so calm, patient and understands my anxiety. I could not bring myself to getting in the chair, he did not rush me or make me feel silly. He explained the process and said we can do as much as you want today. Today was my appointment for 2 fillings . Yes panic set in and I wanted to run. But I knew I had to get them done. He gave me my needles and they didnt hurt. Then the work began, he told me what he was doing and kept me informed with each step. I can't even begin to thank Dr Michael George and the beautiful dental assistant (who held my hand) who cared for me. When they finished they allowed me time to get my thoughts together and leave when I was ready. Then outside to pay ( was happy to pay more due to the great personal service by all the staff, prices are great) the girl said you did great and gave me a hug ( I was emotional). The moral to this story is that I have the fear and anxieties with anything to do with medical procedures. I will only ever go to BUPA Blacktown and be treated by Dr Michael George and his staff. See you in a few weeks for my next 2 fillings.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service, super clean and nice clinic. Most important: The best dentist team you can hope for. I am since a bad childhood experience afraid of dentists. I used to go only to the best experts in Europe, Austrian and Swiss top-rated doctors specialised in treating difficulty patients like me. Dr. Jacob Loga was better than all of those, and I am no longer afraid - at least not if I go back to Bupa Dental Blacktown.

Fantastic experience: First time visit. Clean and great infection control. Dentist was knowledgeable and gave good advise telling me what was happening Plus got a great little kit and free picks to try. Very good.
