I had Natalie do surgery....wow how wonderful is she....I didn't realise it had been taken out she is so professional and knows exactly what she's doing. Thank you Natalie.

Fantastic experience: Had a really good experience with staff and service. Had two wisdom teeth removed nice and quick, and quite painless. All staff were very friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone, also very accommodating as it was an emergency removal. On day two of healing now and feeling great. Would definitely recommend price, service and accommodation wise.

Fantastic experience: I found Heal Dental while searching for an emergency dentist after my crown fell out. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the gorgeous Leticia and then sat down with Anthony, I knew I was in the best possible hands. Anthony is so honest, warm, knowledgeable and has an amazing ‘bedside manner’. He gave me a temporary fix to prevent infection and I went back today for the new crown. It was painless (even when he put the anesthestic in!!) and he was so precise. They even have a special little lounge where you can kick back with a blanket while you wait for the crown to be made. If I could give 6 stars, I would. All the staff are so attentive and lovely and Anthony is an incredible dentist. Thanks so much team

Fantastic experience: I’m a regular check and clean in this dental for a few years now and recently had a wisdom tooth that was causing problems pulled out by Doctor Anthony. As it is my first time having a wisdom tooth out, I’ve heard so much horror stories about it. But the procedure took less than 15 minutes, yes the anaesthetics sting but it was painless and quick for the extraction procedure. Very well explained and performed by Doctor Anthony Will recommend

Fantastic experience: I am currently on vacation at Burleigh Heads⁷ and accidenrally broke my crowns. Luckily I got an appointment at Heal Dental Care the other day. Very friendly people helped me to go through the procedure of first, getting over my huge fear of dentists, and, fixing everything very quick and professional, I couldn't be more happier. I liked the precise explaining what needs to be done ans how fast a new crown can be made. So far I have no problems or pain at all. Overall I am so glad having the luck to get help from Heal Dental Care and can only highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I recently visited Heal Dental for what I thought would be a straightforward routine scale and polish. I was expecting a quick cleaning and some friendly advice on maintaining my dental health. Instead, I left feeling bewildered and financially assaulted! After the cleaning, the dentist informed me that I needed an implant due to an "infected root." This was shocking, as I had no prior indication of any serious issues. The kicker? They quoted me a staggering $7,000 for the procedure! It felt like a classic bait-and-switch—come in for a simple service, and suddenly I'm facing a financial burden that could rival a small car purchase. I left the office feeling uneasy and questioning the integrity of their diagnosis. It’s hard not to feel like this practice is more interested in lining their pockets than genuinely caring for their patients. I sought a second opinion elsewhere, and thankfully, the new dentist confirmed that my teeth were in good shape and that an implant was unnecessary. If you're considering this dental practice, I urge you to proceed with caution. Routine visits should not lead to exorbitant costs and unnecessary procedures. Trust your instincts and seek a second opinion before committing to any major treatments here. Save your money and your peace of mind!

Fantastic experience: Murray was fantastic from start to finish I had an emergency and my tooth fell out and received my dental implant and I’m extremely grateful and thankful to him and his team the level of care was excellent and I highly recommend. For someone that had already feared the dentist he made it a calming experience. And now my teeth are perfect!

Fantastic experience: I had Dr Murray for an emergency appointment where I was having trouble with my wisdom tooth. Removed it painlessly then and there. He was very comforting too which was so helpful as I’m usually very nervous at the dentist. Relieved my pain straight away! I recommend him if you are having pain with your wisdom teeth.

Negative experience: The reason I have given one star, is that they were open after hours and I managed to get an appointment. I had a toothache and was in pain. They took an Xray and they believed that the old root canal was giving me the pain. Options were to refer me to a specialist or extract the tooth. I didn't like any of those options as I didn't get a good vibe. Went home in pain and was in agony all night. Went to another Dentist the next day, turns out it was a different tooth causing the pain. I'm now out of pain and I kept all my teeth. Luckily I didn't have the other one extracted as recommended by Heal Dental Care.

And now having the rest of my teeth fixed under my super which is my only option at the moment need slot of work done. Fantastic experience: Dr Dan Hanson did a lip and tongue tie release on our 14w old daughter last week. Tamika Newman IBCLC diagnosed the ties when she was 10w old that a multitude of people missed (midwives, LCs, GPs, speech pathologists and paediatricians) resulting in her having a NG feeding tube placed by the hospital from 5weeks of age. 1 minute after the procedure was complete our baby girl sculled an 80ml bottle, she had not had a suck feed for over 5 weeks and prior to that never took more than 10-40ml a feed (after having to stop breastfeeding as no one could find the issue). She has not stopped taking a bottle since the procedure on Saturday, 100+ml every feed, we will be removing her NG tube today! Thankyou so much Dr Dan for performing the procedure and changing our lives. My partner Adrian and I will be forever grateful and will never stop spreading our story. Also thankyou to the lovely staff at Heal we met on the day and providing a calming lovely environment, as a dental assistant myself I know how important this is.

Negative experience: Went for an exam with an abscess on my tooth ..staff didn’t smile when you smiled at them .think they were all more interested in getting to lunch .lady dentist was not friendly at all even after I mentioned I was traumatised at the Dentist as a kid …they are supposed to be a holistic dentist..no mention of any specific after care products or supplements…having the tooth extracted.. she wasn’t happy with my decision on no root canal ..a choice backed by scientific papers and evidence ( I had to ask for Happy Gas /wasn’t offered to me )was very quickly rushed out even though I was concerned about driving and about the amount of blood loss i had …wouldn’t recommend them ..no call back to see how I was … traumatised again …

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing so much pain today on my wisdom tooth and it felt like an emergency so I called the clinic at 2:30pm and was booked at 4pm right away! Admin Shantal was very nice on the phone with all my inquiries and greeted me with warm welcome. Dr. Lauren was very gentle & accomodating, I felt safe! Most painless procedure ever! Deserves a 5 ⭐️

Fantastic experience: I was really struggling with an overwhelming painful wisdom tooth. I called them at 4pm and they booked me for 4:30pm and removed my tooth. Absolutely brilliant. Amazing staff! I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak too highly of this dental practise. The receptionists are reassuring, gently spoken and welcoming. The dentist nurses are quick to recognise what you need and assist with a beautiful manner. And, Jayanna the dentist I saw is a stand out. She worked to ensure that I was calm, informed, pain free and as relaxed as I could be with a tooth extraction. She was thorough in her investigations ensuring my well being at all costs. Toothache isn’t something that only happens from 9-5pm on a week day and this practise realises that and caters for you when you are in pain ensuring that you are free of pain as soon as possible! If you want a really caring, competent and kind professional dealing with your precious teeth, this is the place to go!

She is able to put you at ease (no matter how much pain you are in) and is extremely patient and explains all your options including a full breakdown of pricing. She’s so good you will actually need less follow up care because she is so good! Perfect for an emergency or for your regular care. (She also has surprising strong arms).

Fantastic experience: absolutely amazing, i came here this afternoon to get my wisdom tooth removed surgically, Dr Maddison was absolutely awesome, i have extreme anxiety and was so nervous and she really tried her hardest to keep me calm and ensure i knew everything was going to be okay. i would’ve been so frustrating to deal with due to me anxiety but she was amazing the entire time & the blonde lady that was there as well were amazing, i 100% recommend and i will definitely be back for any other dental work i need done.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place!! On Saturday I left the Gold Coast Private Hospital after having morphine and endone for the worst pain i have ever felt. I had called all emergency dentists and this place was the only one that got back to me. I was booked in for the first step of a root canal. The dentist was lovely, confident and i felt no pain during the procedure. Most importantly, i was pain free when left and have been since!

Fantastic experience: Visited Heal Dental Care (a Burleigh dentist) on 24 Sep 2021 for a quick clean and scale. Diana at reception was warm and helpful…I really liked the felt pen and laminated sheets on the clipboard of the patient questionnaire…what a great idea!! Dr Maddison was also warm and friendly, explaining what she was doing and warning of possible discomfort before proceeding. The environment and decor was very soothing and the whole experience made a typically unpleasant procedure very bearable!! Thanks, team!!

Negative experience: SUPER dissapointing experience here. I saw one of Dr Murray's female colleagues. Chief complaints included a bad tates in my mouth following work on my 27 year old root canal tooth (by another practice) and that my root canal tooth 'felt funny'. I had travelled quite some distance to this practice based on the online recommendations. I questioned her about root canal failures and the risk to systemic health. She meerly told me to "do my own research" and to "look who's funding the studies". When a potential area of concern showed up on my xray- that she mentioned could be root resorbtion, I asked what does that mean? Do I need to do anything about that? She simply kept telling me "I'm just brining it to your attention". When I mentioned that my root canal felt funny she said firmly and abruptly "every root canalled tooth will always feel funny". Then she rushed off to her next appointment. Needless to say I left that appointment feeling very bewildered. Long story and many dollars later, after a come beam scan was ordered by another dentist- it was revealed the root canal tooth had failed big time. Root resorbtion, and a chronic infection that had eaten my bone away. The tooth was removed asap and a bone graft had to be placed to fill the deficit. So if your looking for a holistic dentist that is actually aware of issues that may arrise with root canal treated teeth and how to identify them, I DEFINATLY would not recommend visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently had 8 ceramic veneers put in and to say the whole process was short of life changing would be an understatement. From the initial consultation to the assurance, support and attention to detail at every junction, Dr Murray, Dr Lauren, Di and the rest of the team at heal have honestly changed my life. They did so much more than help me smile confidently again Dr Murray and Dr Lauren helped me find my sense of self esteem and confidence again and for someone who’s struggled with his teeth for 28 years... I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Great first time experience, the clinic is lovely feels very welcoming all the staff were great and happy to explain everything fully. Very happy with my clean and advised treatment plan. I loved the extra touches they provided like the bamboo toothbrush for 1st visit. Fantastic experience: This clinic is amazing and have gone above and beyond for my daughter who has been seeing Dr Murray for a treatment plan that has been ongoing.. I cannot fault their care for her and would 100% recommend.. as I was recommended by a large community Facebook group also.. Prices are very competitive too.

Negative experience: Same as a few of the other comments below. Dr Orr made derogatory remarks about work done by other Dentists. He misdiagnosed my daughter with something not very serious which turned out to be incredibly serious and ongoing - lucky I got a second opinion. Overpriced as well.

My 5 year old son had 5 fillings (due to Enamel Hypoplasia) with no needles, no tears, and no dramas! The team are so in tune with the kids and the whole experience is something we look forward to. Fantastic experience: Heal Dental Care have taken great care to remove all of my Amalgam fillings. I have been troubled by these toxic fillings and wanted to find a solution. Dr Murray took the time to explain every detail of these removals and the care taken whilst removing them to avoid toxic fumes and how we would then replace all with non toxic and more aesthetic fillings.. I now have a beautiful smile again and I am so thankful for his expertise. Thanks Heal Dental.

Fantastic experience: INCREDIBLE DENTIST. For someone like myself who is anxious about dentistry, this is the dentist for you. Absolutely calming from the initial phone call right up to the extractions and even during the extractions (my years of neglect led to an abscess and broken teeth). I haven't had teeth pulled for years and the last experience (at a different clinic, another company) was terrible BUT Heal Dental Care totally restored my faith and I'd have NO concerns and very little anxiety going back to these guys. Payment plans are available, an after hours emergency service is available and the staff are just friggin' good people! Thanks again, Heal Dental Care!!!

The team at Heal gave me the most amazing porcelain veneers I could have ever hoped for! The transformation was just incredible. Over and over again, he and the team have gone above and beyond to ensure my dental health is well considered and always tailored to my needs and my health considerations. Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Dr Murray Orr / Heal dental since they opened their doors over five years now. and have never looked back. Firstly, they gave me well researched advice on dental care/ treatment outcomes /risks for dental issues that were happening whilst I was pregnant with my first son. These were resolved wonderfully months after the delivery. I must say, being a busy mum, going to Heal is a sanctuary space, it is actually a little bit of me time (sad but true!), herbal teas are served, its quiet and my treatments have been seriously painless!! I have never been so comfortable in a dental chair! I actually nearly fell asleep getting a filling. No joke. My whole family now see the dentists at Heal. My first born (now five yrs) unfortunately has some cavities, his Dentist, Dr Jaimie Wang has been so awesome handling the intricacies of firstly making sure he is comfortable to be in the Chair ((NETFLIX, STICKERS, TOYS..etc) and also to have a good check up / clean... and now to handle the extraction of his molar! She is so great with children! I always recommend Heal, they provide real, holistic advice on all things dental care and are sensitive to the needs of families. You will always receive the holistic advice but will also obtain the traditional advice and will be led to feel comfortable with your decision in a treatment plan.

Negative experience: Very disappointing service, they make u feel super uncomfortable criticizing other dentists work by saying how your fillings looking old&bad in not very appropriate way (making patient feel embarrassed as if they have done it by themselves and should feel guilty). Also they way overpriced and got stuff member who moved from conventional/mainstream dental practice to this "holistic practice" without changing belives since he gave exactly same invasive recommendations like he did few years ago from mainstream practice to the same client (while even other conventional dentist absolutely not agree with this opinion and didnt see big problem at all(!). Beware! While word "holistic" sounds appealing to the certain part of the population it's still used as a marketing in many businesses just like this. Always go for 2nd and 3rd opinion before giving yr $ away and receiving unnecessary treatments.

Fantastic experience: Heal Dental provided me with outstanding care and service, and looked after my interests as a patient. Their reception was polite, friendly and efficient and helped me get the appointments that worked with my schedule. They were also knowledgeable about health fund information and assisted me in checking for coverage. I saw Dr Murray for my dental care (I had 4 fillings over two appointments scheduled around my availability) and I was well looked after by him and his assistant Sam. My nervousness and any fears I had around the procedures were disarmed by Dr Murray friendly and informative approach, I felt at ease and confident in their care, and felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedures. Fantastic experience: Dr Murray is a very passionate dentist and I feel more like i am visiting an artist than a Dentist. My teeth have never looked so good and he is very good at explaining his work. I feel in very safe hands here.

Positive experience: Friendly, honest and helpful. Would be 5 stars except I found the price very high for the time it takes to do the procedure however the price was always honest from day one so no surprises and they do have payment plan options. I feel that the industry could charge less for the laser procedures and still make profits so not just heal dental as their pricing is competitive. Wait times are lengthy too which can be hard to deal with when you want to get your new born in ASAP to allow for optimum breastfeeding. 4/5 and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Heal Dental Care for years now. It's always a very positive and relaxing (never thought I'd say that about a dentist trip!) experience. Even having my wisdom teeth removed was as pleasant as such a thing can be! The interior is lovely and green and everyone who works there is absolutely delightful!

Fantastic experience: Dr Murray's clinical expertise and advice was fantastic and no nonsense. It's clear he is very passionate about his profession and it comes through in everything he says a does. I had quite a lot of work done with him and flew from Sydney to get it done. He was mindful of my time and due to high quality equipment he has, he managed to complete quite an amount of work in one trip. I am exceedingly happy with the quality of treatment carried out. I had a previous 'clean' by a dentist and it paled in comparison to Brad's treatment. He used language I could understand in terms of the clinical aspects of the clean and his calm, warm and friendly manner put me right at ease. The extensiveness and quality of his work was brilliant. Last but not least, the Heal Dental care team. From reception to the Dental Assistants, the all women team of Heal Dental Care are friendly, warm and clearly highly capable.
