Fantastic experience: Quite great experience here with dentistry in Canterbury since I have been coming over 10 years by now (they moved from an old place to the current one) I have seen them growing up as I am familiar with the majority of staff (dentists, hygienists and receptionists), I can’t fault you guys, indeed you have handled me very well over the years, I didn’t look after my teeth when I was younger and the result is seeing you more often, but thanks to the modern equipments and new techniques then the highly skilled dentists particularly Gina and Julie, my teeth are still looking good. The clinic is well equipped and parking is right in front - there’s always spots- I like the relaxing music as well. every time I go I feel I am in good hands, definitely a professional service and a genuine advice, even in times of an emergency we worked out a time on the phone to come for check and deal with the situation and it worked well so far. Thank you for being there for help and relieving pain, this is exactly what everyone needs from a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have trusted them as my regular dentist for more than 10 years and I've recently had some extensive work done by them culminating in a tooth implant. They are well equipped, professional and efficient and this "experience" was far from traumatic, very little discomfort and the procedure was conducted quickly and skilfully. Everything was explained including providing detailed aftercare instructions.

For example, with a crown she worked quickly while preserving as much of the tooth as possible. I have also had a valuable dental hygiene session with Radika. From first contact at reception with Ying I was treated with respect and care. My comfort, anxiety and questions were all well attended to. And now after my sessions with Dr. Gina I can confirm that from the front desk to the surgery I was treated with the same respect and professionalism as in the past with Dr. Julie. Fantastic experience: Updated in Jun 2025 - I had the interesting 'smile trial' yesterday at the Dentistry In Canterbury as the preliminary phase of my long term dental treatment plan designed by Dr Gina Malak. The plan not only aims to fix some of my prolonged tooth issues but also provides an overall upgrade to the dental conditions and gives me a big confident smile! Teamed with the amazing lab technician Juliana and nurse Gala, Dr Gina elaborated the detail plan and scheduled phases of the treatment in a super patient and professional way, answering all my questions and concerns. Again, another incredible experience with the Dentistry and I'm looking forward to the promising outcome of the treatment! A huge thank-you to Dr Gina and the team. Updated 2024 - I drove almost an hour to bring my 8-year-old daughter, on a friend's recommendation, to see Dr Amisha today for a consultation on her crowded teeth. It was never in my wildest imagination that a dental visit could be this thoroughly educational! Dr Amisha was so soft-spoken and highly knowledgeable in her field. She took time to ask sleep, airway and lifestyle related questions, explained everything in great details giving me a few cost effective options, then she turned to the patient - my daughter and illustrated with some colourful sample plates in a lovely language that an 8yo could comprehend and even got her excited about coming to the next appointment. Her nurse Gala was very friendly too and engaged with my daughter from time to time to ensure she felt relaxed and comfortable during the procedure. This is undoubtedly the best kids’ dental appointment I've ever been to!!! I highly recommend this place to every parent who wants straight teeth in their kids!

Fantastic experience: I'm a staff and also a patient of this clinic. I attended my 2nd stage of implant surgery today with Dr Angelos. Not only did he well inform me of every step before and during the procedure, but also take time to explain what he was doing to Juliana, our talented lab technician and overseas dentist who made me an oral appliance to wear post surgery. Briana, Belle and Sindy were assisting Dr Angelos during the process in their specially trained areas. I was greatly cared for during this long procedure and my time in chair was made as pleasant as it could possibly be. I also come to my half yearly hygiene appointments with Emily, oral health therapist, loving her exquisite gum-care skills and gentle chairside manner. Dr Claire, Dr Jessica and Dr Marina, the fabulous sisters, see me for routine exams and look after my other treatment needs. Dr Julie and Dr Gina reviewed my xrays and made valuable inputs to my treatment plan. I know there's no need for me to go elsewhere for 2nd opinion and pay extra. Every complex case like mine are brought up to review and discuss during the monthly dentist study group meeting in the clinic so as to ensure the best possible plan and achieve desired results for patients. I'm feeling particularly privileged to be able to see everything behind the scene thus not feeling vulnerable lying in dental chair any more but rest assured I'm in good and talented hands with teamed up efforts from 10 dentists, 6 oral health therapists and 15 nurses.

Fantastic experience: Why do I have more energy at work, why am I sleeping better and why am I happier in general? It’s because my sense of wellbeing has dramatically increased since the completion of my treatment plan at Dentistry In Cantebury. Dr Angelos (implantologist) undertook a great deal of the heavy lifting, but with such effortless technique that I never experienced pain or discomfort. Dr Grace (living legend) has been my go-to rock-star dentist for years now, and masterminded my entire treatment plan with dedicated professionalism and a willing laugh. Ying and the admin team support them beautifully and were consistently kind and caring. I don’t regret one cent of the total cost because the sense of well-being I now enjoy is priceless.

Negative experience: Now I wrote a review recently and gave 5 stars to the staff. Now I’m afraid it’s the opposite. I was supposed to get a call from the Practice Manager (perhaps she needs to practice more ), to talk through their recommendations for ongoing $16,000) treatment. However no call has, as per their own timetable, been received.
