Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Nick for over 15 years — first at his practice in Mosman, and now at his clinic in Leichhardt. Even after moving to the country eight years ago, I still make the 3½-hour drive because he’s simply the best. About six months ago, my sister needed a root canal and was quoted an outrageous price locally, so I recommended Dr. Nick. He did an excellent job for her too. He’s a caring, gentle, and highly skilled dentist — absolutely worth the trip!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist. I come in every 6 months or so for a check up but had to pop in between appointments today as I was anxious about sensitivity impacting a particular tooth. Dr Silvina put my mind at ease and gave me practical suggestions to help with the sensitivity, and did not even charge me for the appointment. Excellent patient care

One morning I discovered that I had a broken tooth overnight and I made a call in distress in order to have it looked at, I managed to secure an after-hours appointment that same day, and my tooth was in a very poor condition and needed to have a crown put on it, initially the dentist created a temporary solution and a few weeks later the actual crown was put in, it was a a part from a slight bit of pain you could expect with such type of procedure, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The result is a lot better than I would have expected, all throughout very impressive. I can wholeheartedly recommend Doctor Nick and lovely his team for any of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dr Nick in Mosman over a decade ago. I brought a lot of work with me. My previous dentist just wanted to extract everything. I guess he figured I was a write-off. Dr Nick took a longer term view of care and preservation. I still have many more original teeth than I might have otherwise. And for the ones I had to replace, I had pathways for all budget levels. Nick is not shy with the painkillers and I've never had a painful day in the chair. The beautiful staff always follow up with a phone call after you've had a procedure to make sure you're doing well. Mouth has never been happier. I've since moved out of Sydney, but still come back to see Nick every 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Oh gosh how long have I been visiting Dr Nick now? At least 15 years probably 20! First at his Mosman practice and in these last few years I followed him to Leichhardt. What I love about Nick is that he is so passionate about dentistry. He will gladly talk you through all the xrays and discuss options. He will clearly tell what is needed now and what is "wait and see". There is no upselling of cosmetic services unless you ask for it and want to discuss. He is genuinely a good person and has your best interest at heart. He kindly offered to visit Mum in Aged Care quite out of his way, but she was then at a point unable to have treatment. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Nick highly enough. For my whole life I have been petrified of dentists, my mum often having to pull me kicking and screaming when I was a child and had a toothache. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of work done over the years, each causing me extreme distress and anxiousness prior to and during the appointment. I first met Dr Nick when I had a whole tooth fall out whilst eating. I called a number of ‘emergency dentists’ in the area with no-one available to fit me in for a discussion for weeks, except Dr Nick who made the time – whilst he was never going to be able to fix it on the spot it was his nature, empathy, calmness and consideration of my fears that helped me return back for my next appointment and work through the plan. He has helped me since with extensive treatments including root canals, crowns, extractions and fillings and these procedures that normally would be incredibly uncomfortable, painful and time-consuming requiring return visits are the opposite. Dr Nick has extensive skills in dentistry and uses the latest technology creating crowns onsite making the process efficient and pain free with exceptional outcomes, a vast difference to my previous experiences. He has a genuine concern for patient’s well-being, is attentive, understanding and incredibly passionate about his profession. Recently he has also helped me with getting veneers across 4 of my front teeth that were damaged and discoloured and whilst I was hesitant about doing this and whether it was worth the money – the end result confirmed how ecstatic I felt, I was truly shocked how amazing they looked and after all the work that I have had done I now don’t need to hide my teeth when I smile – I am so grateful he recommended and helped me with the procedure. Dr Nick has a great sense of humour too we often banter about a number of topical things which helps make it a more comfortable environment. I honestly wish I had met Dr Nick when I was a child and first started to go to a dentist it would have really helped me over the years. Whether you need just a regular clean or check up, or more extensive treatment and live near the Inner West, I highly recommend Dr Nick and the team. Even if you’re not in the area – it’s worth the drive! It goes without saying that I am now comfortable going to the dentist for the first time in over 35 years. I have had root canals, fillings, composite caps, porcelains crowns and my last experience was having a molar extraction due to a root infection and replacement implant. His attentiveness and easy going nature made the experience no fuss and relaxing.. playing any show on his ceiling or blasting out banging tunes to keep you occupied during surgery. I convinced my wife to see Nick after a number of years as she had been seeing her dentist for 20 odd years.. she heard my anecdotes and saw my results and trusted to see Nick to have implants and veneers... well... she is only beside herself with his empathetic approach and his out of his way offer to provide her with temporary composites while she waited for implants to set and then the amazingly fantastic finish of implant crowns and adjacent veneers... we will never see any other dentist.. he's a master and we could not recommend more... if the was an option for 10 stars.. he'd get them!! Negative experience: If I could give them less than one star I would. The dentist forgot about the appointment and was an hour late. He then convinced me to do root canal which I didn't want. I came in for an extraction on the advice of another dentist, but he insisted the tooth was worth saving. I said multiple times that I wanted the extraction, but he insisted root canal was the right thing to do. The root canal pain was unbelievable. When I mentioned this, the dentist told me the pain was psychosomatic as the tooth was dead (he later apologised as some of the tooth was still alive). He then broke the root canal wire in my tooth and was unable to retrieve it, so had to do the extraction anyway. I will say - it was a lovely touch having music playing in the background and a tv on the ceiling to relax patients. Unfortunately I was in the chair so long, that when my tooth was being extracted the cute nauture documentary had run its course and I was now watching a baby seal being eviscerated by a pack of polar bears on the ice to the tune of Karma Chameleon. I was in the chair for 3 hours, had completely unnecessary and botched root canal and was charged $660. My advice would be to go to a farm and get kicked in the face by a horse. It will have the same dental benefit and you'll get to see a pretty horse.

Fantastic experience: I came to Leichhardt dental centre for the first time with a real “trial by fire” scenario, needing teeth removed and implants done. It’s a scary thing to have to go through, but Nick and Leah (including all their support staff) were extremely kind and accomodating throughout the months of visits. While I really hope I don’t have to do the same procedure again anytime soon, I will definitely return for the foreseeable future for any dental needs. Thanks again friends!

Fantastic experience: For years I've had some small self-consciousness about my front teeth as one of them was crooked which really impacted my confidence and my smile. Dr Nick said he had an idea on what he thought might help with my situation and I'm absolutely blown away by the result. Fantastic experience: After a childhood accident in the school playground, I have spent a lifetime in and out of the dentist and dental hospitals for various procedures. I have suffered trauma along the way and it’s always hard when I see someone new for the first time, having to explain my history and relive it. Dr Nick Kumarni was welcoming, kind and understanding of my fears. He listened to me and empathised with my situation and found a resolution to what was ultimately making me unhappy. During my procedure, he asked me if I was ok regularly, kept me informed of what he was doing next so I was prepared. He was as gentle as he could have been, made a few jokes and had an awesome playlist to take my mind off it! The dental nurses were super helpful, chatty and kind. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience for someone who really doesn’t like going to the dentist. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this Dental Centre - I needed urgent care for my teeth when I began to get unmanageable tooth aches. Thankfully this dental centre took much more interest and care with the health of my teeth than my previous health-fund clinic. Instead of being ridiculed for the condition of my teeth and sent on my way with no plan for repair (as I experienced at the other clinic) I was presented with a full explanation of the problem, then provided all the possible treatments which would be suitable. This was provided with no judgement and just a 'lets fix this for you' attitude. Despite having three root canals and crowns fitted, I experienced very little pain during and after the procedures. You just can't beat this type of service and dedication. This also extends to the entire staffing team, you're made to feel very welcome as you walk in the door, after so many visits I created quite a rapport with Dr Nick and his team. The service doesn't just start when you walk in the door and stop when you walk out - they also send reminders for appointments and complete follow up calls the day after to check in with how your managing.

I've been putting off getting two implants and dealing with several other dental issues for years and he crafted a detailed treatment plan that worked for me, and actually talked me out of a much more expensive (and unnecessary) procedure recommended to me by another dentist. From start to finish he was so attentive, knowledgeable and transparent about the costs involved. The process is now complete and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Nick really cares about his patients!

Fantastic experience: Recently had my wisdom tooth removed. Dr Nik was amazing... comforting and caring ... it was not an easy task which took a lot of skill and Dr Nik was very patient and made it as pain free as possible for me. Friendly staff too.
