Fantastic experience: Dr. Jimmy is an exceptionally professional and caring dentist. He made my mum’s tooth extraction surprisingly quick and comfortable — she was nervous at first, but his calm and reassuring approach made the whole process smooth and stress-free. A big thank-you as well to Rachel, the dental assistant, who was incredibly friendly and organised. She handled all the paperwork efficiently and made everything feel easy and hassle-free. We are genuinely grateful for their outstanding service and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone, including our friends and family.

Never in all my dentist trips in the past have I had a call the next day asking how I was feeling. One of the lovely front desk ladies made that call. Fantastic experience: In 2018, National Dental Care West Lakes was recommended to me after a less-than-great experience elsewhere. At my first appointment, Dr. Gilkes and his assistant Kylie listened attentively and removed a very infected tooth with the greatest of care (I can not overstate this - Kylie was wonderful) and professionalism. Since then, I’ve always received top-quality care from all the dentists (one favourite was a friendly Liverpudlian— since returned to QLD) including Kylie, who changed roles, and joined lovely Bernie at reception. Today, I went back for a check-up and had my first visit with Dr. Ru and hygienist Marlee, who again were both absolutely lovely—gentle, attentive, and thorough. It was also such a nice surprise to see Kylie, now promoted to Office Manager! There’s so much experience at this practice, and it truly shows in the quality service provided by every member of the team.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to NDC West Lakes for a couple of years now. In that time I have had a couple of crowns done by Tash. She is absolutely fantastic, cannot rate her highly enough. Wonderful dentist.

Positive experience: The staff were very friendly and Dr Law very kind and caring. My only concern was catching a cough/cold/Covid? from the lady on reception who was coughing, sniffing and blowing her nose. I heard a few other staff members doing the same. I put a mask on as I have CF. A lung infection can land me in hospital. Whilst I'm realistic that we all get sick sometimes, sick people should not be at work. Why spread it to all the staff and patients?

Fantastic experience: I was a bit anxious about a dental procedure I had scheduled, but the amazing Dr Rupa and nurse Rachel did a stellar job! Rupa reassured me, talked me through the procedure, and checked in with me throughout. I felt confident in her care and wondered what I had been anxious about to begin with!! I give Rupa and Rachel 10/10 for great service and compassionate care!!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending National Dental Care West Lakes for over 20 years and have always received excellent care from the Dentists, Hygienists and the reception staff have always been very friendly and helpfull.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to National Dental Care at West Lakes for many years. Not a fan of having to see a dentist at all, but NDC looks after me. The clinic was able to see me straight away after a minor 'emergency'. Dr Law is patient and caring, and takes the time to talk through procedures and options. Reception staff are friendly and professional, and conscientious with follow up phone calls to check how I'm going. NDC offers Aftercare and can advise on which health funds provide the best value for dental care at NDC.

Positive experience: Friendly reception and dental staff but a way too long time to wait to get in for just a check up and clean again, ie 8mths ++ Went for a check up and clean yesterday but wasn't advised beforehand that the Dentist was off sick so no checkup.... Hygienist Julie was lovely though..

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting experience from this dentist Dr Xiao Jin. My husband had excruciating tooth pain for about a week and this was the first available appointment to see a dentist. Made appointment online. Receptionist rang before the appointment to ensure enough time was given and they knew a filling or tooth extraction was required. The dentist on the day took xrays and told my husband they could do nothing for his tooth on the day and told him to take sensodyne toothpaste only. They said they could fill the tooth but he'd have to come back again for another appointment. Charged $200 for nothing and practice saying that X-rays belong to them (even though they were paid for). My husband still with bad pain since went to his regular dentist and tooth was extracted. Price quoted for fillings was also very expensive . This dr is an absolute con, do not use this dentist!

Negative experience: I have been loyal customer with NDC for more than two years as I am a AHM member and they have collaboration together, so I got two free clean each year. Last year after a clean up the receptionist with glasses still charged me for cleaning. I went home and called AHM and asked and found out I still have 1 more time free. So I went back and the receptionist refund the money. Cost me 40 mins to drive back and 40 mins home. The lady said nothing but 'yeah well I didn't know this is first time'. In general the receptionist were always in a hurry or bit pushy to answer questions, however the cleaning etc was good. Recently I had another cleaning done with Dr Daniel Kennedy, it was quite painful I had to tell him that my gum is so sensitive this time. And the cleaning only lasted 15 mins roughly. Was not a good clean.

Fantastic experience: I had a treatment for a check up clean and reattached of lingual wire. All staff were very accommodating and lovely to deal with. Dr Rupa Mannan did a fantastic job of reattaching my wire. All staff including Dr Rupa expressed empathy and patience. Explaining all parts of the process and tips for after care as well. I feel confident and happy in service and quality of workmanship that was applied in my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I visited the dental practice today and I was very impressed by the quality of service and care I received. My dental hygienist, Julie, was amazing. She paid close attention to me and built a rapport, and had a genuine interest in my dental health. She offered advice and even showed me photos of what she was talking about in my mouth on the screen. She always took care to cause as little pain as possible, of which I felt none. She provided clear and personalised advice for my given questions and concerns. She made it her goal to make me feel comfortable which made me not want to rush out of the dentist for a change. Everyone else was amazing too. The receptionist was incredibly polite, accommodating, and answered all the questions I had. The dentist was also super thorough, shared anything she saw with me and again shared a genuine interest in my dental health. All in all, I left feeling great and like I was in good hands. I have been anxious to see a dentist in the past for various reasons but after this most recent visit, those feelings are gone. I highly recommend this dental practice and especially Julie, who did an amazing job cleaning and caring for my teeth, to anyone looking for a positive and professional dental experience. Fantastic experience: Very caring practice manager and efficient admin staff. Good dentists and hygienists to clean teeth. May be able to improve on patients not having to wait after scheduled appointment time passes. However, the important features offered are good dental care and concern for the welfare of patients. Very convenient settlement of accounts with approved insurance providers.

We so like and trust Dr. Ruppa Mannan who is a knowledgeable, caring and experienced medical practitioner. My husband and I feel listened to and happily have all major dental work done here, because we know it is the very best. The whole team by the way is friendly, thoughtful and communication is easy. We don’t know all their names, but love dealing with Kylie who is one big smile, efficient and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have received excellent service at NDC West Lakes for over 15 years during routine checks and planned surgery. Only this week I experienced severe tooth pain and contacted reception who did an amazing job to get me in the following day for what was urgent root canal work by Dr Rupa Mannan. It was my first visit to Rupa who made the diagnosis, explained the options and performed the surgery within 45 mts. Her professionalism and personable communication skills are to be admired. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of the West Lakes dental ce ter since a child. Even today, the staff continue to show familiarity, care and support which I can now fully appreciate as I approach my 40's. Dr Mannan and her dental assistanr Chen, patiently listen to any concerns and clearly talk me through each process or procedure with careful considerations applied with all info considered. My family and I will continue to visit NDC West Lakes and recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: Although I had to travel for 45 minutes to get there, I'm still more than happy that I switched to West Lakes National Dentsl Care.Great attention and service! Fantastic experience: Dr Siavash and his assistant were excellent. They made me feel very comfortable during the all time and the dentist was very gentle as I mentioned I usually have pretty sensitive and painful gums when having a clean. It is the first clean I had done in my life where I actually barely felt pain. The procedure was done thoroughly, everything was explained clearly, my questions were answered honeslty and I didn't feel rushed in anyway during the whole consultation. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time having a wisdom tooth pulled out, and I’m a super nervous person when it comes to doing something new and the unknown and I work myself up a LOT. I have never been involved with such professionalism and most importantly genuine care. My doctor and his dental assistant were the sweetest ever. I’ve never felt so calm or reassured and I really felt the genuine care that they had for me. They really wanted to invest the time to make me feel okay. Just super lovely people. I’m beyond pleased and couldn’t recommend this dentist more! They made the experience feel so normal. I wish there were more people like this. My doctor was Siavash Tabatabaei.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to this practice 5 years ago after moving from interstate. Dr Gilkes is beyond AMAZING! I have always been an extremely anxious patient but Henry has always been so reassuring, I now almost look forward to seeing him! :) His assistant Kylie is also highly recommended. She is so caring and sweet and has always made me feel so comfortable. I look forward to seeing her happy face and couldn’t imagine not having her beside me!
