Positive experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Helen, who took the time to walk me through my dental health and provided valuable advice. The check-up and cleaning were quick and efficient. However, I faced an issue when it was time to settle my bill at the reception. I have private health insurance that includes dental coverage, and I usually use an app on my phone to make payments easily by scanning a QR code. Unfortunately, the staff member at reception was not familiar with how to operate the EFTPOS machine to scan my code. The main benefit of having private health insurance and paying monthly premiums is to minimize out-of-pocket expenses on the day of the appointment by utilizing our coverage. It would be advantageous for the staff to receive training on effectively using the EFTPOS machine, rather than relying solely on the traditional claims process. This would enhance the payment experience for everyone involved and ensure a smooth process overall.

Fantastic experience: I first started my journey with Dr Dalia Yousif 15+ yrs ago as a graduate dentist. Over the years it has been an absolute privilege to be a part of her becoming a well respected professional in her field. I have always had a tremendous fear of dentist until I met Dalia. Our patient / dentist relationship is one I treasure. Due to my dental issues over time recently I was faced with needing 2 very invasive procedures involving Zygomatic and All in 4 implants. My bone degeneration was severe and with Dalia monitoring my issues closely over the years, this year came a time where I had to make some difficult decisions to move to having this procedure done. Along with Dalia’s referral to Dr Ricky Sandhu also with NDC, we took my journey to the next step. The process was one of support and reassurance with a wonderful outcome. I would love to also mention the pre care, after care and advice when I had so many questions were addressed by Lauren Moffat and the many Dental Nurse team members at this practice with such care and precision. I am forever thankful to you all. As the following months unfold I will have an amazing smile all thanks to the team at NDC Browns Plains and forever thankful for their care and going above and beyond expectation.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, efficient staff, excellent staff, I feel so relaxed and comfortable as soon as I walk in. The receptionist staff are always very welcoming and make you feel at ease. I have been attending the Browns Plains practice for a number of years and always have a pleasant experience which is very surprising as we all think a visit to a dentist is painful and stressful. Madhi in particular is very thorough and gives great advise, very happy with the service at Browns Plains practice.

The front counter staff are always happy and helpful. The consult rooms are also very clean and not cluttered. Reasonably sound proofed consult rooms so you don’t hear noise from other rooms. The staff are very friendly. Patient Care is the Number 1 Priority. We rate this Dental Practice 10/10. Lots of parking available.

Negative experience: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Dentist insisted I get my front tooth filled at 21 for (cosmetic) meanwhile it has completely shifted my teeth and now has caused problems with my wisdom tooth. The dentist had done my front tooth way to big and it was the second time she had to do it since she messed up the first time and now the second, I have since been to another dentist with my x-ray and have been told that I should not have had a filling as it had caused more problems with my wisdom teeth causing my teeth to overcrowd and become not straight. I went into this dentist with straight nice teeth and I have come out with nothing but problems and now overcrowded and crooked teeth. They do not care about anything but the pay check they receive. As teeth are your appearance and confidence and you have to live with them for the rest of your life not the dentist save your time and money and go elsewhere. There is so much dental malpractice going on in this place nor do they care about your teeth or outcome. It has cost me x5 times more then what it would have if I just had went to another dentist who actually looked after there clients as I’m now having to get braces and fix chips due to misalignment due to the filling being way to big and not straight and shaped horribly my teeth that are not filled look better then the ones that are definitely have been botched and if I can save anyone else from being so to I will. I’m now very self conscious about how I look and not confident in any way shape of form because of my teeth and the outcome this dentistry have caused. They have done nothing but ruin my self esteem and cost me money and time. I’m talking $1000s more then what I would have normally had to pay because I’m stuck with fixing there mistakes. If you are going there because you are already self conscious about your teeth I’d say away they will only make things worse.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews... especially as I'm terrified of dentists... but today I went to National Dental Care ... I was sweating and heavy breathing in fear... I needed 3 fillings and my dentist was Dr Andrea Yong... I got on the chair and held my breath ... oh god I was terrified .. she cleaned my teeth .. and explained which filling she would do first I said... just tell me when you are giving me the injection.. I've already given it ... I was speechless... I swear I didn't feel a thing....I don't know how that could be... but I bet I will feel the next injection on the top ... again I asked her to tell me before she does it so I can be prepared... again she said she had already given it ... I couldn't believe it ...I didn't feel a thing ..... absolutely nothing ...she was in my mouth for a while and then said....all finished .. what...but you can't be finished...I'm a terrible patient...I hold my breath....my body stiffens and my hands grip the chair so tightly they have to be "peeled off" ... but that didn't happen... I was actually smiling...and usually my lips feel like fish lips in s cartoon...but not this time....I only had a very small numb part and by the time I got home it was gone...sorry I wrote so much but I'm so happy estatic that I finally found a dentist who was perfect...she was efficient and she didn't hurt she was professional and she didn't hurt she was genuinely kind and she didn't hurt ... I don't write reviews...either good or bad .. but I hope I've helped at least one person who was as terrified as me to find a gentle dentist.. thank you Dr Yong

Negative experience: My partner had root canal treatment there And after treatment they made another appointment within 6 weeks for 2nd sitting, but his pain has started before appointment. I called clinic and asked if he can come in first available appointment because pain is unbearable, but clinic has denied that there is no appointment you have to wait for week now for another checkup. Next appointment was cleary written on invoice, even I requested and called them several times to send me invoice. We had no notification from clinic at all I found on invoice that they overcharged us. I asked them to refund me for same item you charged me, which they did after many calls attempt. But we still have refund pending with them which the denying to pay me back. I said I will check with ADA which staff said it's fine! I stated that you can not charged me for item which is not relevant to treatment, but I disconnected call with no success. Staff is not Punctual to their job and ignores patient queries.

I recently had to get a tooth extracted and the care taken by the staff from the desk to the chair and out the door was amazing. I can’t thank Dr Andy Hsiao enough for the procedure, he was very informative, supportive and thorough. He had my tooth removed in less than 5 minutes and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. This dental practice is amazing!

The receptionist booked me in within 2 days which I was so grateful for. Dahlia talked me though the procedure and eased my anxiety immensely. Wouldn't go to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I had a spontaneous dental issue with my front tooth and I needed to see a dentist asap. I was in the area and parked opposite National Dental Care. I called in and I was booked in for the following day. My issue was resolved during that appointment; I also had a clean and scale while there. I am not a fan of dental tools and I am quite sensitive in some areas. I was happy with Dr Yong’s work and care. I have long needed to see an orthodontist. Dr Yong booked me in to see their orthodontist for the following week. Hopefully I can get that issue resolved too.
