Negative experience: I object to being advised that I have to have an X-ray to have my teeth cleaned. No wonder Health insurance is through the roof when you have dentists taking unnecessary XRays claiming that it is a routine part of a check up. I do not want to be subjected to unnecessary radiation just for your financial gain!

Fantastic experience: I have visited 3 times in the last month or so. Each visit I have been welcomed very warmly by the reception staff. From the front girls to both Dentists that did my treatments I was very impressed. They explained what they were doing, I felt very relaxed (unusual for me), the dental work was spot on and quite pain free and I will definitely be returning!

Negative experience: Visited some time ago, and came away very disappointed. As a Bupa employee (not Dental) I was surprised at the poor lack of care and skill of a Bupa Dentist. Myself and my vision-impaired wife had a simple scale and clean appointment, and dentist Maria seemed to have no idea how to perform her job. In fact, the dental assistant seemed to be more skilled, with Maria continually asking her what she should do and being corrected by the dental assistant. When it came to the end of my wife's appointment, rather than explaining directly to my wife the condition of her teeth and potential treatment options, Maria chose to speak to me instead. How humiliating for my wife! It's not the 1920's! I didn't know a vision impairment means you also can't hear?! Your staff need to do inclusion training as this experience resulted in my wife and I cancelling our Bupa Health Insurance. Would not recommend anyone attend Bupa Dental Miranda. Looking forward to the copy and paste response to my review.

Negative experience: They do a good job that part is fine. But what service provider can add like $300 odd on from the quote and not keep you informed in the process until they are hitting your card and you actually ask? No empathy as I am sure the stakeholders or staff wouldn’t be too thrilled if the shoe was on the other foot.

Negative experience: Charged me a gap for a regular checkup even though I’m a Bupa member with a high level cover and this practice is a Members first provider. At the same time I was told by the rude mannered hygienist named Irma that “she doesn’t offer a discount”.

Fantastic experience: Why didn't I know how good they are and wasted so much money on other dental centres for cleaning etc when I had everything done free (covered by Bupa) and service was one of the best I've had (comparing North Sydney and Inner West private clinics). My dental hygienist was such a lovely person. Very knowledgeable and sweet. Explained everything in detail for me, was gentle and very consoderate. Will be sticking with them from now on.

Negative experience: Booked for first appointment 2 weeks in advance and 1 hour before appointment they cancelled them. VERY BAD first impression.

Fantastic experience: So far as dental experiences go Brendan and Sophie provided me with the least unpleasant experience I have ever had at a dentist. Seriously I almost didn't mind that I was having stuff done to my mouth. They were super efficient and caring. I will be back. Maybe even as often as I am supposed to be.

Negative experience: I made appointment at 8am for the first time, the message confirmation stated that $25 is charged if cancel with less than 24 hours, but they called me to cancel 30 minutes before my arrival??!! I am angry but the receptionist was nice that's why I made my second appointment again. When I shown up on time for my 2nd booking, the receptionist just told me that my appointment was canceled without any apology!! I haven't received any notification for this cancellation at all. They are totally hopeless! Please don't waste your valuable time on this unorganised clinic, I don't feel any respect and they make me feel like I don't deserve their service at all!! Ridiculous!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Brendan De Silva, Dr Hassan Hamdan and the team are amazing. The team are extremely professional, perfectionists in their work and care about their patients. I recently had veneers and I would recommend the procedure to anyone at this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Brendan and his lovely assistant Daisha helped me get my smile back. I had porcelain veneers to my front teeth and the results are fantastic. Dr Brendan was informative, compassionate and meticulous in his practice. I would highly recommend to anyone who has been thinking about improving their teeth but is a bit scared that it might not turn out right. It's definatley worth it with the right dentist and Bupa dental at Miranda have not disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I had the good fortune to be treated by George Lee at Bupa, with a challenging issue - one tooth broken off at the gum, an adjacent tooth ready to crack, and a broken tooth next to that - 3 in a row, all at the back of the mouth. I'd put up with it during COVID ... 3 years due to the health issues, and an estimated cost of around $11,000. George assessed the situation was able to do a triple crown for around $7,000 and the results are fantastic - feel like I've got a new set of teeth! His expertise and insight into dental work is invaluable, giving me piece of mind that I was with the right professional!

Fantastic experience: Got my Invisalign here, it took 14 weeks to straighten my teeth, after alignment my dentist also fixed my front chipped teeth. I'm very happy and satisfied with my now perfect smile and fixed bite. I'm delighted I did my Invisalign with Dr. Sarang Sathe he was very accommodating, friendly and professional. Thank you for the perfect results!!

From Stan's pre-visit check, & calling early to offer an earlier appointment, Ash being the consumate, informative & friendly professional to Rui being so nice and a total professional also... there is nothing more I could have wanted in a pro dental patient experience!!! Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Brendan Da Silva. If you are hesitant about having dental treatments or are looking to change your current dentist, please read on. Dr Brendan is by far the most caring, warm, skilled & professional dentist I have ever been treated by. My first visit to him was 1 week into the first lockdown in 2020 with an emergency to fix a large cracked tooth. He saved this tooth. He has since performed miracles on other teeth as well, always with great outcomes. I highly recommend Dr Brendan for your next dental treatment. Unlike most dentists, Dr Brendan talks you through & explains everything he is doing & works totally in consultation with you making sure you're comfortable throughout. Fantastic experience: After dealing with a long and extremely stressful process of trying to get my teeth straightened with a certain dentist and being traumatised with the services provided as well as the outcome of my teeth, I was recommended by a friend to pay a visit to Dr. Brendan Da Silva from Miranda Bupa. From the moment I attended my first consultation I knew I was in good hands, Dr Brendan has been extremely professional, very comforting, reassuring and most of all has provided me with so much care throughout this process of trying to get my teeth straightened. I have finally completed this journey thanks to Dr. Brendan and the results are beyond perfect, I knew Dr. Brendan was going to help me achieve the result that I had in mind but he has given me an even better result then I had imagined. My friends and family are shocked at how amazing the outcome is and I cannot stop recommending Dr. Brendan to everyone that notices the difference. Both of my children know the staff and the staff know our family. We never feel like a number. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Brendan Da Silva because I had a growing pain in my wisdom tooth. Dr. Da Silva was extremely warm and welcoming and took the time to explain the issue at hand with a lot of detail and the upmost professionalism. Fantastic experience: I had attended a Dentist last week before going to Bupa Dentist, I was absolutely petrified of any medical profession due to fear of what I may find out. The bedside manner was so disgusting that I walked out of there in more “FEAR” than I originally had with no intentions of returning to a dentist ever again and just putting up with whatever my issues were. A Week Later I had no choice but to go to another Dentist, The anxiety out of 10, was 150. I explained my anxiety up front and was Booked in with Dr Brendan DeSilva,“OMG” absolutely second to none, he has the best bedside manner, very professional and extremely knowledgeable , he calmed my down and has helped me get to the bottom of my issues with nothing but compassion. If you find Yourself in a situation like Mine, please consider going to Bupa at Miranda and seeing Dr De Silva, you will not be disappointed, thank you Dr, you are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lee your my hero. After 15 years of pain for which I had brain surgery to put a stent in the nerve...You found the problem in my first appointment!!! I am still in shock. This dentist is amazing. To anyone dealing with facial nerve pain he is your man. Such a respectful kind hearted man with so much wisdom. Dr Michael Ibrahim was honestly the best dentist I have seen ( and my dental history is long). He took time to explain clearly and was extremely gentle . His calm, confident manner put me at ease. The staff, from reception through to dental assistant/ nurse were very professional and polite. The surgery is modern and well equipped. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Wow today I went into bupa Miranda for an infection that has come up to discover I need a root canal and crown. Oh well it has to be fixed. :) let me tell from the moment I walked in all the reception team made me feel welcome and very attentive. Finally met the dentist Brendan Da Silva he was warm professional and friendly about my treatments will be required moving forward. Everything was explained in detail easy to understand. He also explained to front desk when I finished what is covered etc... definitely have found my new dentist also shout out to Emily at front desk who explained absolutely everything in detail. 5 stars keep up the good work bupa Miranda your all awesome....

Fantastic experience: I had a severe toothache and they managed to fit me in on the day. Dr Michael got me out of pain and was very gentle and understanding. The staff were also professional and friendly. I was impressed with the service offered and will be bringing my kids in for their check ups

Negative experience: Don’t go there! I made an appointment for my children but waited for 40 minutes to get treated! The hygienist and his assistant were very unprofessional! The Hygienist can’t clean my sons teeth dirt marks while kept saying he had never seen this kind of things, he said can’t 100% clean them off after he tried 3 tools. I heard he whispered to the assistant “oh no, it’s not like that, you put too much in.” when the assistant brought over the cleaning paste. Their faces showing something went wrong. The most ridiculous thing was, My son wanted to wee wee when it’s my daughter’s turn to sit on the chair, so I took my son to the bathroom after I carried her onto the chair. The bathroom is about 5m opposite to the room, he just did a wee there. when we came back to the room the hygienist said he had done cleaning up my daughter’s teeth! WOW!that’s super fast! I bet that’s the fastest dental cleaning record in the world! Just like “doing a wee”! As my daughter was not even 4 yet, she couln’t tell me what the hygienist had done or done nothing. I will never ever go there again. Don’t go there, save your time and money.

Negative experience: One star is to much for this provider...It is horrendous when you pay over $250 a month in health insurance then you try and make a booking at Bupa dentist Miranda and they do not respond then when they do 1 week later after telling them they did not contact me they ask for $50 before they make the appointment!! This is inappropriate no other dentist gets $50 for making an appointment!! Bupa you should be ashamed at providing a health care service based on making money without doing a thing!! I may get my money back but it doesn't cost me a cent to get my sons teeth cleaned and checked at a local dentist who does a marvellous job with care why would I give bupa more money for nothing!!! I will be changing my health insurance and avoiding going near any Bupa Dental!!

Negative experience: TERRIBLE experience! Stay well away from this practise. Had two appointments with new dentist and both times she was unbelievably rude, condisending and unprofessional. She had no idea how to work the equipment which was clear with her multiple outbursts and things were extremely uncomfortable. She was very heavy handed and frustrated with tools she didn't know how to use - SCARY. The worst part and the reason for the negative review is that she assured me I needed work on one of my bottom molar teeth. After the terrible experiences during two fillings as above I went to my old trusty dentist even though it was over an hour away. X-rays were taken and I had him double check when he told me all bottom teeth were healthy and required NO work or attention!!! SHOCKING! It isn't the cost but the fact that she was willing to drill and fill a tooth that didn't need it, potentially creating issues where there were none! Stay well clear if you want good teeth and money kept in your pocket!!! Happy to be contacted by the practise as this is a true reflection on my experience.
