Blackheath Dental

Negative experience: I had a few very small front teeth chips filled at the beginning of this year. It was not only very expensive but now only 7 months later, one of the fillings has completely come off. This is unacceptable. Not only that, I didn’t feel they were very warm or friendly at all, I felt very uncomfortable there. I don’t recommend this dentist. EDIT - I don’t have a tongue piercing and this wasn’t due to another dentist. Unbelievable response.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express just how good the whole experience was from the professionalism to the understanding everything was on point thank you so much to the team at Blackheath Dental for helping me with my permanent retainer they went above and beyond. They stayed back with me one day, booked me between another appointment another day and came in early to see me on a day after that all within the same week to get the job done absolutely incredible

Fantastic experience: All of the team at Blackheath dental are nothing short of amazing . My 81 year old parents just started going there and couldn’t be happier , you never feel rushed and they truly care about their patients . I am now a patient also and couldn’t have been happier with the care and attention you receive . I’m not sure too many people enjoy going to the dentist but the team make it a visit you truly feel comfortable with . Highly recommend! especially if you have anyone in the family who is a little nervous about a dentist appointment .

Fantastic experience: So glad I tried Blackheath Dental. Very friendly staff, the Receptionist was lovely. Dr Patel and his assistant were very knowledgeable and gentle! It was my daughters first time to the dentist and they were very good with her too.

Fantastic experience: My dentist is Dr Jiman Han. He is friendly, a good communicator and very knowledgeable. I am very impressed with the general overall check-up he does, which is not only about teeth but also the mouth and jaw. I've seen many dentists over many years but none have been as thorough as he is. I would certainly recommend others to see him. All the Blackheath Dental staff are friendly and flexible in case you need to change an appointment. I am grateful for that.

Fantastic experience: Our kids attend Blackheath family dental and it is great. All the staff are polite, accommodating and welcoming. We see Dr Jiman, who has been great with all our kids and some of their more complex dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Definitely one of my better dentist visits involving an extraction. Rutile was patient, listened well, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He spelled out my options, and concurred with me that the tooth had to go. All in all a most satisfying visit. The supporting staff were lovely too. Thanks

Fantastic experience: BEST DENTAL TEAM EVER ! I moved to the Blue Mountains about 15 years ago. After years of very painful and terrible service from Sydney dentists, I am still amazed by the service provided at every appointment, Its still so good. The team are excellent at what they do, but best of all...PAIN FREE ! I have very sensitive gums , yet even a very detailed clean is still...PAIN FREE ! I trust and rely on the Blackheath team for all of my dental needs and especially for good advice. The new treatments rooms are amazing, I'm a tall guy so I take up a lot of space and there is heaps of room and is really comfortable. The front desk team are very friendly and make it easy to stay calm and relaxed...if like me and get stressed in the waiting room. I have had regular gum treatments, fillings and caps and all were very affordable. So in short....If you hate going to the dentist, Try Blackheath Dental , it will change your life.....really.

Fantastic experience: Hi Dr Choi, Just wanted to thank you for fixing my gums! I came in 3 months ago with gum disease and you completed a periodontal treatment for me. Just got a check up here down in Victoria and the dentist said my gums looked pink and healthy with no infection, and he said the pocketing has even reduced slightly since 3 months ago. So yeah, thanks heaps for fixing my dodgy mouth!!!

Negative experience: Filling they put in came out within a few months, and they didn't offer a discount on replacing it. No idea if that's normal or not but I wasn't blown away. Also difficult to communicate with about bookings. For example, called during business hours and got an answering machine, which is fine, and I left a message cancelling the appointment (for the replacement filling). They clearly didn't check the messages and so I just got a call asking where I was.

Fantastic experience: The team at Blackheath dental are friendly and respectful. I feel very supported and cared for both with booking and organising appointments and with the hard job of dentistry. It's not easy working in such a sensitive area of the body and the team take great care to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Thankyou.

I'd been going to same practice all my life, but it's a long way from here and when an acute issue arose earlier this year, weren't able to fit me in. But I needn't have been, Blackheath Dental came with high recommendations from family members so I decided to give them a try. Very friendly and helpful staff at all levels. They were well able to address my problem with care and respect for my nervousness. The result was quick and effective. I have even entered into a maintenance program to avoid the necessity to remember checkups. I can't say I am looking forward to my next appointment but all of the fear has gone. Fantastic experience: I visited this dental surgery with my wisdom tooth in pain and for a scaling, my pain was at its peak. But when I walked in the surgery, I was soon relieved thanks to its sweet homey atmosphere and plentiful smiles and gentle air from the staff. The dentist did not talk much but I could feel the confident and skilful movements of his figures. I did not feel much pain. Thanks guys!! Keep it up and see you next time.
