Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Hardwick for more than 10 yrs and I can say you will not find a more approachable kind dentist!! I have a terrible fear of the dentist and he is amazing.

Negative experience: Put me on a payment plan and then changed the terms and conditions of the agreement without notification. Very rude. Won't return. Very costly services which I got at a different dentist for a more realistic price.

Fantastic experience: I had an old crown break apart less than 2 weeks before going overseas. Dr Naik and the staff pulled out all stops, including coming in on a day off and following up on an accelerated order for the new crown, to make sure the crown was replaced in time for my trip. An independent dental prosthetic specialist who was on my trip commented on the quality and fit of the work. You just cant ask for better than that, and I wont be going elsewhere.

The receptionist, dental hygienist and Doctor were all amazing. I had zero pain during my appointment and the staff could not have been better. She handled a sensitive extraction with a minimum of pain or anxiety (by me!). Dr Chris Hardwicke has been my dental practitioner for over 30 years and I cannot speak highly enough of his care and expertise in all dental matters. This practice offers affordable options in a handy location with a small amount of free underground parking for clients.

Fantastic experience: The team at Deakin Dental Care provides warm, welcoming service, headed by Dr Naik, whose dental skills are exceptional. All treatment plans are prepared in close consultation with the patient, and no question or concern is too small. Dr Naik's knowledge of new and emerging treatments for pain management during complex procedures have been transformative for me. Dental work has traditionally been a torturous undertaking (literally), but under her care, this is no longer the case. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: If having dental treatment makes you nervous, this is the place to go. Chris is my usual dentist. Honestly, the man is a dental saint! But for an emergency appointment I saw Disha. I understand why they work together. They both understand how to kindly treat anxious patients. They don't rush you and check in with you every step of the way to make sure you're comfortable. They effectively minimise pain, offering gas or sedation if you need it. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Dr Naik takes great care with clients that have anxiety and simply puts you at ease to a point that I’m not longer afraid to go to the dentist. Dr Hardwicke was great, very friendly and personable. Most importantly I felt he was very experienced and knowledgeable. I had been miss diagnosed by the last dentist I went to and within a few minutes of sitting in the dentist chair Dr Hardwicke was able to tell me exactly was wrong and I felt confidence in his diagnosis which mattered a lot to me in my situation. Fran at reception is also incredibly lovely and willing to go out of her way to help. Highly rate Deakin Dental Care as a family dentist you can trust. 10/10.
