Negative experience: I had an appointment with Mona Mikhail in September, and she was awful. I was supposed to have a wisdom tooth removed, but all she did was traumatise me for 10 minutes about how if she went ahead with it I’ll either have a numb jaw for the rest of my life, or be in excruciating pain for the rest of my life and need to be on constant medication. She had zero empathy, treated me like I was wasting her time, even though I was the one that paid over 70 dollars for a 10 minute session of this woman making me feel like shit. Honestly have no idea why she’s in healthcare if she’s going to go around treating anxious patients like they’re gum stuck under her shoe. And this was after I had conversations with other staff at this dental clinic letting them know about my PTSD and medical trauma. The only good thing she did was refer me to a specialist, who took one look at my X-rays and said that it’s a low risk surgery and that I’d be out of the chair in 15 minutes. Appalling behaviour. Get out of the healthcare industry you horrible human

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nadeem Hossain is absolutely amazing! I had two teeth restored today, and both Dr. Nadeem and his assistant handled the procedure with such skill, calmness, and kindness. He also kindly revised the original quote and gave a clear, thoughtful explanation of the treatment plan. Thank you both — you truly are angels. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: I would like to give credit where credit is due... I drove 47km from my place of residence to this Bupa facility. Totally worth every km. My first visit to this Bupa Dental facility and I was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, Jess (in reception) and to the dentist (Dr. Nadeem) they made our kids dentist experience such an enjoyable one. We'll definitely be back for our 6month check ups...my family of 5 is definitely future clients of yours. Thank you Dr Nadeem and team!

Fantastic experience: Dr Warren Wong did an excellent job at fixing my tooth up, as an old filling fell out. It was quite big, but he took the time and patience to execute with precision. It’s a quality and experience I really appreciate nowadays, as everything and everyone is always so rushed. The online booking was a smooth process, and the staff of this practice is just the friendliest bunch ever, as I’ve been to another practice before and did not have the same experience at all. I’m so grateful I have found my dental practice for future.

Positive experience: The digital card made it very easy. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Dr Warren's amazing and gentle with the kid. The hygienist can be more respectful to the doctor. I felt sorry for him.

Negative experience: I visited Bracken Ridge Dental to have my crown re-cemented, but I found the dentists to be inexperienced and untrained. Since my appointment, I’ve been in a lot of pain. I will not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Please avoid this clinic.

Fantastic experience: WOW. Dr. Wong is, without a doubt, the best dentist I’ve ever been too. From the moment you walk in, the whole experience is comfortable. The waiting area is always super clean, the staff are really nice, and you never feel like just another patient . Dr. Wong is extremely gentle and detailed with every procedure . I used to get anxious about going to the dentist , but not anymore with him ☺️. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing and makes sure you know ALL of your options. You can really tell he cares. He graduated from a local school too! Also, the office is really organized and efficient. Appointments are always on time, and you never end up sitting there wondering when he'll see you. They use all the latest stuff too. which makes you feel like your getting the best care. If your looking for a dentist who’s skilled, kind, and professional, Dr. Wong is definitely the one to go to . He’s honestly changed how I feel about going to the dentist and I recommend this clinic to everyone

Fantastic experience: The most positive experience I have ever had with a Dental Clinic. From the front of house staff that went out of there way to help me, to the Dentist that helped ease my pain. They have quite an extensive knowledge of the dental field. Dr. Eden is such a gentle dentist that I didn't even feel any of the injections or removals. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Had 2 appointments cancelled, 20 minutes after their starting time. Whilst I was sitting in the waiting room. Service is woeful

Negative experience: Twice now I have booked appointments (in advance) and they cancel the morning of. Both appointments have been months apart! It’s inconvenient especially for people who work full time and relying on these appointments to fit in with their schedule.

Positive experience: I Have been to this clinic on several occasions they are my first choice for dental work. I find the staff very professional in all aspects from reception to the finality of treatment .I have always felt valued there and can recommend this clinic to all, from my experiences .To the clinic is say Thank You

Negative experience: Practice is very chaotic with too many employees crammed into a small space. Have been attending this practice for over 25 years since Dr Bates owned it. I am no longer happy with the service and have moved on. In February I was told I need a filling, got a second opinion at a different practice and was told I didn't need one after all. Unfortunately I feel at this practice they are just money grabbers.

Fantastic experience: I’m so sorry to leave this comment with 5 stars too late. I’m not sure if Doctor Andy and nurse Zoey work for here right now? But I had an unforgettable experience with they two while I went to see dentist in Bracken Ridge Dental. They can speak Mandarin, this point is so friendly for me. And Doctor Andy always consoled me whenever I felt nervous, of course, his medical skill is NO.1 in my heart! I have moved to Gold Coast, to be frank, it’s not convenient for me if I go to Bracken Ridge Dental now, however, I would like to introduce my friends to there if they ask me which dental is best in Brisbane.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Sherry is such an amazing dentist that she deserves all the recognition! She is knowledgeable, along with her assistant Thao, made my treatment such a breeze and I would come back just to see Dr.Sherry for all my future treatments. She was not pushy with anything, constantly checks on you with regards to the treatment if there are any pain, and is so gentle. Definitely changed my perspective compared to all the other dentists I have been before and it made me feel so much better. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I’m really impressed with the care and compassion from Dr Andy Chung. Dr Andy Chung Managed to get me in very last minute after having a terrible experience by another dental clinic on the same day. He went above and beyond with explaining everything and actually listens and answers your questions without you feeling like another number. You are made to feel very comfortable and valued as a customer and not an inconvenience. Dr Andy Chung Made sure that I didn’t leave with any discomfort and you can tell he holds a high level of pride in his profession. It felt amazing to walk out without any tears I will continue my regular dental visit with this business moving forward. The receptionist and other peers are also very friendly and kind it’s just a very wonderful atmosphere. Thank you so much for making the whole experience very settling and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sherry and her dental assistant Thao are an absolutely amazing team. Miss 9 has been getting fillings but today she did an extraction and the way they dealt with the injections was so lovely to watch. Thao was tapping on the back of Miss 9s hand gently to distract her from the needle. They are very good.

We then went into see Dr Andy Chung. He was so fast and efficient. He was thorough and kept updating me about the procedure every step of the way making my anxiety go away. What was supposed to be a simple filling left me in a lot of discomfort and pain. From the moment I walked into Bracken Ridge Dental the girls made me feel so at ease. Fantastic experience: My day started off a little different, not knowing that my 20 year old daughter needed 2 wisdom teeth extractions, which can be stressful for any parent and your child. For what started as a stressful day turned to calm and reassurance, and I am extremely grateful to the team at Bracken Ridge Dental. I felt extremely lucky I could get an appointment that day, and Ash at Reception was most helpful. I spoke with Dr Jun Loh, who was very professional, empathetic and patient. Fantastic experience: After a 16-year hiatus from dental work i needed broken wisdom teeth removed and lots of fillings. Im nervous about drilling at the best of times so i was quite anxious about the proposed schedule of work. Dr Jun & his assistant were very welcoming and professional. The works/costs/bupa cover were well explained. I was given choices, as we planned everything together which i liked. I felt relaxed in the chair with people watching over me who genuinely care. Theres always a good movie on the tv and im offered headphones so i dont have to listen to the drilling. If im early i head straight in - the reception is quite a warm place with a sense of humor. Ill be back for a clean in a few months and i trust them with anything else that pops up in the future, such a great team.

Fantastic experience: Went to B/Ridge Dental for a Root Canal, the Reception Staff were amazing and kept me calm, although very friendly they were equally professional, Dr Andy Chung performed the work on my tooth, he explained everything that he was doing he also explained the Quote so that I fully understood all costs involved. At my initial consult I saw Dr Jun who put me at complete ease and moving forward over several visits I had 3 teeth removed and multiple fillings I now am pain free and feel a million bucks. Everyone at the clinic from the front desk staff and assistants are amazing making me feel comfortable at all times. For anyone who is anxious about dentists etc I recommend this clinic and Dr Jun, I will be a forever patient at this clinic!

Well greeted by the receptionist when I entered, and proceeded to have my dental appointment with Dr Sherry which was nothing but pleasant. Dr Sherry ensured that I was comfortable throughout - gentle and also very professional to me as her patient. Not forgetting the dental assistant, whom work so well together with Dr Sherry. Fantastic experience: So impressed with this dental clinic. They have been brilliant for both my kids and now myself. All the staff are friendly and so helpful. My kids thinks going to the dentist is a real treat and they feel spoilt, also love being treated with respect. I had been avoiding the dentist from fear but Dr Andy made me feel comfortable and relaxed even during an extraction. I have a few visits to go and I'm not worried in the slightest.

As someone who gets great anxiety over seeing the dentist and had to have three wisdom teeth removed recently the team here were great. They put me at ease before the treatment and even gave some follow up calls to make sure I was doing ok. They are very understanding and helpful, they give payment options and help you get the outcome you are after. I am very pleased with how everything went and am now looking at some further treatments which I have always put off.

Fantastic experience: BEST DENTIST EVER!! I found this practise via google reviews and am so glad I did. Dr Loh and his team were amazing ! I cannot fault their service, from the lovely admin girls on the front desk, to his dental nurses, to his gentle way, they are just so fab. I’ve had heaps of Dentail work over my life so am a very nervous patient, by Dr Loh was SO gentle, I call him the “injection whisperer” as You hardly even feel the injections he gives. I believe they use their own numbing cream which also helps and after having three lots of injections i give him a 3/3 for gentleness. The practise really cares, they call you after you have had work done to check you are ok and explain everything from payment terms to showing you pictures of your teeth and what you need done. Very happy will be tellin all my friends !

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the entire team at Bracken Ridge Dental, I've been able to get past the fear I have of going to the dentist. They are experts in managing the pain and stress that typically goes with dental treatments. So much so that I (almost!) enjoy my half yearly visits!

The dentist was able to fit the crown back on and discussed with me best course of action for the future. Fantastic experience: I suffered all weekend with a painful infected tooth. I booked an appointment online (very easy),received confirmation and follow-up phone call. Attended my appt, the staff were very efficient and friendly. Dentist Andy was very helpful and reassuring. He did exactly as asked, the procedure was almost painless. When it was over I was so surprised it was so quick and painfree I asked "is that it.. wow, all that worry for nothing" I would recommend these guys to everybody, in fact I already have referred 1 person to them I was so impressed.

I had to have 5 teeth out and a immediate partial denture all on the same day. Dr Lydia came up with the best solution for me. I was terrified on the day, but Dr Lydia and all the team were so gentle and caring, right from the front desk to the chair. I have to say I felt no pain, I did have the gas which definitely helped. Dr Lydia and the dental nurse were so caring and gentle which put me at ease. I still have to have a bit more work done, but am feeling much better about the whole thing. I can't express my gratitude enough to you Dr Lydia and your team at Bracken Ridge Dental. ps. for anyone who has fibromyalgia out there, Dr Lydia is the dentist you need, she understood my heightened sensitivity to pain and was amazing. Fantastic experience: Just got my wisdom tooth out, and it was painless. The whole procedure was less than 30 min and mainly just waiting for the anesthetic to kick in. There is also a TV on the ceiling for entertainment. Couldn't believe when the doctor told me the tooth was out, I only watched the movie like 10 min. Highly recommended to people. Great work Lydia

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Lydia for the last 3 years since I moved to the north side of Brisbane. She has always gone out of her way to look after me when ever we needed to get in to see her on short notice. She has always made me feel that I'm not just another "number" to her and having someone that we can trust as a family means a lot to us. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
