Fantastic experience: I believe I've known DR Mark Farag for about 14 years. Before him going to the dentist was a very traumatic and stressful experience. The whole idea of going to see a dentist would bring tears to my eyes. BUT since I got my first appointment with DR Farag my attitude changed entirely. Not only has he MASTERED his technique, he also feels the patient. He did my two implants, with one being a very complex bone grafting procedure. Over the years he has changed place of work three times, and I followed him to his current practice in Abbotsford - DentalFit. I will follow my dentist and will drive to any suburb he decides to move. Once you find a real deal you won't wish to have any substitute.

Fantastic experience: I had my routine dental check-up and cleaning with Dr. Maileen, and she was very attentive. She explained each step of the procedure as she went, which made me feel really comfortable. I found it excellent and very convenient that they could take both X-rays and a panoramic scan right there at the clinic to better understand what needed to be done. The environment is modern and welcoming. I also loved being able to listen to and watch a music video from my favorite singer during the procedure. I highly recommend this clinic!

She is very easy to talk to and great at communicating her thoughts. I told my parents to see her to start with and now I’m her patient too. Unlike other dentists I’ve been to, Dr Callum took the time to tell me what has happening step by step and provided really good dental education throughout the appointment. He was also very gentle and thorough in the check up and clean and for the first time in a long time I walked away from a dentist appointment satisfied with the service. Fantastic experience: I had such a great first appointment here today! I live in the area and have walked past many times but luckily haven’t needed to go to the dentist. I had a day off work today unexpectedly and rang to ask if I could get a filling I had done recently in the U.K fixed as I could feel it had chipped and I didn’t want it to get worse. They pencilled me in for the same day and the whole experience was great. The Brazilian receptionist was super friendly and my dentist (really nice Chilean lady named Mailen) and the dental assistant were just as friendly and easy to talk to. I also felt the price was really reasonable considering they also had to take my UK dentist’s filling out as they didn’t have/nor recommend the same material for the filling. The new filling they gave me is heaps better/designed to last longer. They explained everything as they went, which I really appreciated. It was my first time going to the dentist since moving to Australia and it was such a smooth and pleasant experience. There’s heaps of dentist choices in my area but I hadn’t had any recommendations from friends. It can be hard decide when you’re new to an area/have no-one to ask but I am so glad I went with Dental Fit. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back whenever I need to!

Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk in the door you are met with 1st class surrounds and service. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. I have major dental anxiety and Dr Mailen Farag was so calm and reassuring. She talked me through everything she was doing and is very knowledgeable and there is not even a hint of upselling or recommendations for unnecessary work to make a buck which I have encountered many times over the years elsewhere. I have already recommended to friends and will continue to tell anyone who is looking for a new dentist to go here!! (As a bonus there is a great coffee shop next door with so many comfy couches). Definitely a 5 star experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mailen is a legend. I arrived with some pain in my teeth, initially thinking it was wisdom teeth, but she quickly diagnosed it as teeth grinding after taking X-rays to confirm. She was super nice explaining why I was feeling pain and how to solve it. They made the mouth guard super quick, and it was ready the very next day. After wearing the mouth guard, my pain was gone in just a few days. I also had a teeth cleaning there, which was super cool – they even let you choose the music! It's a super nice clinic, and it's close to public transport.

What stood out even more was her attention to detail. She followed up with me about a possible issue involving a large gap between my teeth. Both we're extremely professional and calming, which was very important to me as I have been afraid to going to see a dentist ever since a terrible childhood experience, ironically not to far down on Victoria St. Dr North went through everything with, including the whole process, and what he would be doing, and gave me assurance that we could stop at any time if I felt uncomfortable. However, the experience was so easy and seamless, I never felt the need to stop them. Negative experience: Very disappointing dental experience! I recently had an implant installed by Dr Farag. It was awfully painful and the end result is far from what I expected. Not to mention that it was expensive. So I would not recommend this practice for major dental work. Thou, the staff is nice and polite.

Negative experience: Beware! Consider yourself warned before stepping foot in Dr. Farag's dental office, no matter where he works ( Dr. Farag worked in a few different dental practices over the last 5 years ) My experience with him turned into years of harrowing saga of pain, suffering, and financial drain that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. My nightmare began with a seemingly routine tooth extraction . However, Dr. Farag couldn't even manage that simple task without subjecting me to repeated visits and excruciating pain. But the horrors didn't end there. After a tooth extraction, Dr. Farag attempted a bone graft, only to botch it in a manner that can only be described as amateurish. The bone graft has failed. Then he did an implant for me. I was in pain and feeling very unwell from the next day of inserting an implant. Despite my pleas and obvious symptoms of infection, Dr. Farag's incompetence blinded him to the reality of my suffering. He did not want to see that my gum was swollen and bleeding, and I was really unwell. I could easily end up in hospital with sepsis. Then my gum just erupted producing so much pus I cannot describe here. And then I endured a hellish journey of endless appointments, excruciating treatments, and mounting medical bills. All these because of Dr. Farag's negligence during the implant insertion and then not being able to diagnose an infection quickly enough. I begged Dr. Farag for a refund, presented evidence of the horror show that his treatment had caused me, but was met with callous indifference. Not a single cent was returned to me. So, to anyone considering entrusting their dental health to Dr. Farag, heed my warning: you're gambling with your well-being. Prepare yourself for a potential cascade of pain, suffering, and financial ruin. And to Dr. Farag himself, how do you feel profiting on the misery of your patients?! Your lack of accountability and compassion earns you a resounding zero stars from me.

Fantastic experience: I came into the Abbotsford DentalFit dentist after breaking a large chunk off my tooth an hour before and these guys did what they could to fit me in the same day. The repair was so good i my self and no one else is able to tell the difference. I love the attitude of the staff, from the guy at the front desk that works really hard to get me the best savings on my health insurance, and emails everything instantly; to the dentists and oral specialists themselves. They are all highly professional, knowledgeable and informative. They are friendly and have excellent communication skills. I went strait back a few days later for a comprehensive check over and to see what work is suggested and needed or not needed in the future, they wrote up future quotes for me to choose from and the dentist that did the clean was excellent caring and professional. I live in Perth in Western Australia but have family in Melbourne thus why I was here on holidays when I broke my tooth. These guys are so good I will now be using them as my long term dentist I’m happy to plan ahead and travel from Perth to Melbourne to have these guys as my personal dentist. Honestly the best dentist I’ve ever been too.
