Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed yesterday with Dr Michael. I found the service from start to finish incredibly professional. Michael understood my fear of needles and really helped me get through it. I hardly felt any discomfort during the procedure. I’ve entered a payment plan to get my teeth fixed with a clear plan of what needs attention and what it’s going to cost each visit to achieve my goal. If you live in Brunswick or Carlton give these guys a try they have state of the art equipment and don’t overcharge.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr raquel rocha for a gum issue and cleaning i was so impressed.Her experience shows her professionalism ,her gentle and warm approach and honesty was amazing. She reassured me that with my gum disease i had to get my treatment by a periodontic and referred me to a great specialist. Oh though i was previously suggested to book for four appointments with an hygienist i would have wasted my momey and time. I strongly recommend Dr raquel da rocha to anyone who needs a honest and professional experienced dentist.It just feels nice to walk out feeling happy and reassured.

Positive experience: Kind and professional dentist but I believe I was incorrectly strongly urged/recommended to get a crown that was not necessary. I moved to the UK recently, Got a copy of my Australian dental records sent to me to try and find a dentist would complete the crown for me here (as per the Clover Dental’s strong recommendation) after seeing 4 different dentists here then and an endodontist, all professionals concluded that I did not need such an invasive procedure (a crown) and instead just shaved the tooth that was causing me pain out of my bite and my tooth is fine now. This may not necessarily be a problem with this particular dentist but perhaps a wider problem within Victorian dentistry because of the privatisation of the industry in Australia.

Fantastic experience: By far the most enjoyable dentist visit I’ve ever had. A very relaxing space, extremely clean and polite staff. I would highly recommend to anyone. FYI the TV screen on the roof 10/10 brilliant idea and very relaxing for the client. The dentist was so lovely and polite. Extremely patient as well. What every person needs in a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am not a patient of this practice but had an emergency dental issue where a tiny piece of food is stuck inside my gum and could not be removed without professional assistance. Dr. Angela squeezed me into her fully-booked day and removed the food, without pain, within seconds. She also very helpfully answered my questions. Most importantly, she did not charge me for her service. The receptionist was polite and professional. I'd highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr Angela communicated clearly, informing me what to expect so I wasn't surprised by any sensations or noises. She really took the time to make me comfortable. Fantastic experience: As a 50 something baby boomer...my childhood memories left me scared for years...then a few years ago after a bad toothache...I bit the bullet and googled local dentist. Luckily for me...Clover dental was nearby...and even luckier for me...its run by the most amazing dentist Dr Angela...backed by equally great staff. So since that first meeting...ive been there regularly. Apart from cleaning, fillings..ive had some major issues as well. 3 years ago I fell over and fractured my skull...and managed to knock my 2 front teeth in 60 degrees...Dr Angela reset them, put temporary braces on them...and saved them. Today she finished a root canal on my front tooth...I was so relaxed.. I nodded off. And whilst I was expecting the biggest pain to be the expense.. couldn't believe how reasonable it was. My main concern about going back to a dentist was the pain experience I had as child.. in all my visits...I haven't felt a thing...and I'm the world's biggest wimp. And the best thing is Dr Angela is so young...I know she'll outlive me and I will never have to look for another dentist. I can't recommend enough. Paul E.

Clover Dental was recommended by my periodontist after my previous dentist closed his practice. I've never seen a more professional, empathetic and efficient dental practitioner than Angela Chao, the principal.The recent wisdom tooth extraction was handled superbly. Other staff are also excellent. Very highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: such a smooth experience for a huge hole to fill

Negative experience: Disappointed - unorganised and I feel misled. So, I had been booked in to construct a specialised mouth-guard mold ($1k). They had already rescheduled my appointment once in order to make sure the correct dentist would be available, which I appreciated (good front desk service). However, upon getting there, I was greeted by a different dentist - no big deal as long, as she can do it. Before sitting down, I explicitly informed her about the reason for my visit to confirm that she could construct the mold (given I was seeing a different dentist, I wanted to make sure there was no mixup). She insisted that she could. A few minutes later, while she was inspecting my teeth, she casually drops "I left the equipment at home". I probed her on what she meant but she mumbled a non-response and told me that I would need to come back for another consult to construct the mouth guard because she "left the equipment at home". I was gobsmacked. They still had the audacity to try and charge me $60 for coming in and wasting my time. They agreed to waive the cost - but only after I complained. This was very misleading and they clearly wasted my time. All they had to do was call to reschedule the appointment or, at a MINIMUM, she should have told me that she "left the equipment at home" when I explicitly asked if she could construct the mold.

My past experiences back in my home country also filled me with dread, having been absolutely horrendous and painful. I found Clover Dental in a search online. Despite my hesitation, Dr Amy put me at ease right away. Her attitude was professional, as was her work. Everything about the procedure was clearly explained to me in my native language, Mandarin. The filling was painless from the anesthesia, and well done. My budget was $250, and was concerned because I know that dental work is expensive in Melbourne. I am very happy that the work done was within my budget. Fantastic experience: Excellent dental work, painless, efficient and affordable. I'm usually apprehensive about going to the dentist due to the fear of uncovering wealth of problems. After visiting Clover dental and locating all the issues, they put together a plan which i am chipping away at my own pace and affordability (no pressure what so ever). They were kind enough to create a eating plan which will help maintain the future health of my teeth and minimise problems in future. It is this concern and compassion for the well being of my teeth that i trust my teeth in the good hands of the people at Clover Dental.

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist replaced a filling of mine, and after complaining of pain, the dentist told me I would need a crown put in, which would cost me almost $1300. And even suggested I could drill a portion of my tooth which could possibly fix it, which didn't. So I decided to try this local Dentist in frustration to my previous one. Angela was very professional and knowledgeable. I advised her of my previous experience, and she suggested not to put a crown, but to replace the old filling as she prefers to save the tooth, than destroy it. After having my filling replaced it was 100% better!! No more pain, no more ache. Saved myself $1000 because of Angela's expertise! Highly recommend her!
