No clinical office smell, very clean place, and the care from all staff is always good. I actually go to the dentist consistently now unlike years before when I would drag my feet. Whenever friends tell me they’re scared of the dentist but know they need to go, I always tell them to come here because it will change their outlook on it. Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional and well educated staff...not only for my teeth but also helpful when using my health insurance iPhone app! I walked in on a hot 39 degree Friday morning, with forehead shiny and teeth furry. Alas! I forgot my healthcare card. Was I about to lose $180 because I had to trek through desert like winds and humidity to fetch said card? YES...I may have due to laziness. BUT! To my surprise the lovely receptionist Maartje, or Marsha as she allowed me to pronounce it (phew) was there to save the day. 'Do you have the NIB app on your phone?' 'No, and even if I did I'd probably need my insurance number.' I say. 'No, I don't think so.' She replies. We both in anticipation and actual excitement download the app on my phone and await to see if we can get away with this without the physical card in hand. SUCCESS! It can be done I shout...in my mind. We proceed to save my $180 and the inconvenient possibility of having to log in and reclaim that money online (ain't nobody got time for that 'click with finger in sassy way!'). Negative experience: Attended with a friend while he got a general check up & clean. Mel seemed flirtatious towards him. He also mentioned that as soon as we left, it was very obvious. Learn to be professional. Perhaps focus more on the job (scale and cleaning was minimal at the time) and less on your smiley manner. Be warned gentlemen of Melbourne! Or should I say, enjoy ;)

I have moved around a lot and had to deal with a lot of different dentists, but this dentist is a keeper! All the staff is super friendly and makes sure you are looked after. No, she didn't pay me to write this review. No I'm not getting a discount. She might not be the cheapest dentist in town, but she definitely has the best smile.

I have avoided dentists like the plague since I had a horrific experience at a different practice several years ago. I finally plucked up the courage to book in for a check up and could not be happier with the experience I had at Smile & Co. From the moment I walked in to the practice I was greeted by Michelle, her bubbly attitude is infectious and any pre-dentist nerves I had completely disappeared. Dr Mel and Dani were the same, they were both super lovely and professional - I was put at ease and I had the entire appointment explained to me and got an amazing view inside my mouth which was really interesting. Dr Mel was so gentle and caring that it was nothing like the uncomfortable dental experience I was used to - I have walked out feeling a lot more confidence in my dental hygiene and I no longer fear the dentist. I never thought I would say this about going to a dentist, but my trip to the dentist today was an absolute delight! Cannot recommend Smile & Co enough!!

I had avoided dentists for almost 20 years, but had to suck it up when the pain in my mouth felt like somebody was stabbing me in the jaw with a sharpened rusty spoon. However, my fear of the torturous bloodbath and metalworks of my earlier years were allayed by the big smiles and welcoming atmosphere provided by SMILE & Co. To assure and help you, Mel explains in detail what's going on. She even lets you watch what is going on when there is an opportunity. And if you don't want to watch the operations, she'll put a movie on for you. Her work is so delicate and gentle that I did not feel the injections that were administered. Every staff member at SMILE & Co is a pleasure to work with. They all seek to make your experience comfortable and pain free. If you want a dentist, you can pick any trained monkey out of dental school. If you want comfort, care and a safe and warm dental experience, then go with SMILE & Co.

Fantastic experience: Moving to a new dentist is not easy but these guys made the transition very comfortable. Appointment time was confirmed and kept which was helpful with my busy schedule. The clinic itself looks to be state of the art, modern equipment that was well maintained. My dentist, Mel, had an excellent manner, very friendly and keen to explain things without being overly chatty which is the last thing you want with gauze in your mouth.
