Negative experience: I don’t recommend this clinic. I thought few weeks before writing this review but every time I eat I remember this error going there. I choose this place cause it was close to my home, however, what suppose to be simple Filling ended up giving me pain and sensitive teeth’s every time I have a meal. And I never had any tooth pain before. I got back twice so they could try to revert the problem but the pain never gone way. Also as mentioned , dentist and assistant talking personal things over my mouth.

Negative experience: I am not happy with Maven Dental in New Farm. I received a text message informing me about an appointment that I did not agree to. When I tried to make them aware of their mistake through their contact form, I received no response. This leaves a bad impression and makes it seem like an aggressive sales tactic, especially since I had previously ignored several phone calls from them about making another appointment. During my first visit, the experience felt rushed and not very thorough, which gave me the impression that the clinic is strongly profit-oriented. This latest unsolicited appointment only adds to my dissatisfaction.

Fantastic experience: Metash Jilka and assistant, gave me the extra mile that was essential for my health and well being. I had neglected my needs and Metash did more then I ever expected. Caring, patiently supportive with gentle words and work, I left pain free and advice how to get my smile back after 14years. I have a severe phobia about going to the dentist, but the crew at maven dental new farm are incredible especially Krupa Raniga and her dental hygienist are amazing. Fantastic experience: Great spot located in New Farm, especially if your looking to get fillings done. Broke my tooth over the weekend and called them first thing Monday morning. They were reliable and very friendly and were able to get me in a couple hours later that day to fix the tooth asap. My dentist Dr Krupa Raniga was very friendly along with the dental assistant that helped. This is the second time I have had Dr Krupa fix my composite bonding and she did a superb job, efficiently and professionally. Very pleased with the service and efforts from the Maven Dental New Farm team.

Mel always loves to have a chat ( even when my mouth is full of fluride ) which I kind of find comforting when having someone poke around in my mouth. Melissa has always been educational and encouraging about the importance of my dental hygiene. I love my smile and honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth.

Negative experience: Been to this dental clinic few times over few years and recently just had the worst dental appointment ever in my life. Have been thinking about this over few sleeps and I have to pull myself to write a review about it. I have booked in with a hygienist that my partner used when we first go to this clinic back in 2020, he said she is pretty details so I have booked myself in for a clean and check up. My appointment was 30mins late which I have expected for any appointment. Once I got into the room the hygienist ask if I want to redo the X-ray as the one I had in record was few years old which is no longer up to date. I advised I will just leave it out for this time and she said oh yeah that’s fine, just don’t come back to me in 6 months times and find out there are lots of holes there HAHAHAHA. I kind of just laughed it out and moved on. From the moment I opened my mouth for examination and clean, the hygienist have been NONSTOP chit chatting with the assistant. The whole cleaning experience was violent, tools are breaking, snapping off kind of violent. The assistant was so concentrated on their conversations that she poke the suction tool to the corner of my lip. “Opps sorry” is what I got then their conversation carry on. I leave the clinic feeling so uncomfortable also sore gums, thinking might be because I haven’t done a clean for a while. Yet the next day, my gum still feels sore. The whole experience wasn’t pleasant and it’s not professional. I will never return to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Metash, Melissa and all the staff have been absolutely fantastic during my last few years attending. The last few months Metash has turned my broken ,gappy old sheep teeth into a wonderful and confident smile !! Being unable to afford the tens of thousands required for implants he designed and fitted crowns and a denture at an incredibly affordable cost. Mels whitening and constant encouragement has left be feeling a new man who after 20 years can finally smile with my mouth open !! Thanks legends

Fantastic experience: Dr Metz Jilka is one of the most humble, caring and determined dentist I’ve met. No matter the hour, he always ensures that his patients are looked after and their concerns are addressed. He’s also very patient and gives his undivided time. I’ve been to Metz many times for fillings and also for a root canal that was misdiagnosed in the past. he has always made me feel at ease and understood my nervousness during the treatment. He always remained in touch after a treatment to ensure I was recovering well. Cannot recommend this practice and Dr Metz enough!

Fantastic experience: A clean and modern practice filled with friendly and helpful staff. My dentist was very accommodating to my nerves around the dentist and let me watch netflix while getting my procedure done. He was clear, calm and thorough and he sorted out some issues that past dentists had left. Will definitely be returning to this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Metash is a little artist. He fixed old dental work where I chipped my tooth on a slide as a kid and nobody's ever been able to fix it without it being very noticeable, but first fixed my bottom tooth. Also got my clean from Dental Hygienist Mel and wow! I feel like I’ve never had my teeth cleaned so thoroughly before. Everyone's so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Also cute little touch is they have something playing on the roof while they do their work. Once a cooking show and today was Shitz Creek. I changed from my overpriced Dentist in Toowong where the same code was half price at Maven. So handy as I now live in New Farm. Been very impressed with their work. Keep it up!

Negative experience: Booked the appointment specifying and underlining it was for an implant issue. Once there, they said are not able to check my problem. After 2 minutes I was out of the clinic with $60 less and nothing else. After 2 weeks I’m still waiting they refer me for the specialist! Come on guys this is not fair at all! Doggy! A waste of time and money

I was originally referred by a friend to Malvern Denist when my own dentist just didn’t seem interested in my plan for my teeth. I was so glad I did.. my new smile looks amazing I could not be happier. Appointments where so easy to make after hours or on weekends. Staff friendly but BEST of all my teeth look amazing !! Negative experience: I can’t express how much I regret doing my Invisalign here. I gave 1 star because there’s Janet the only person who does the job and helps me, and I simply can’t give less for the frustrations and wasted time in the experience. The dentists sell hard here to persuade you to go for the Invisalign treatment when you do the usual procedures here. After meeting the orthodontist (who made lots of promises), I decided to go ahead and paid in full upfront. After the first session, I arrived in the second appointment to find out the orthodontist was gone. However, no one bothered to give me a call for that. So I could only go home and waited til they find another orthodontist to take over. It also means my treatment will be delayed. After a few weeks, finally Maven dental confirmed a booking with me to meet the new orthodontist. When I moved my work plans again to go to the appointment, I was told Maven dental made a mistake again and the orthodontist wasn’t there! Not only Invisalign is an expensive treatment and Maven Dental is unable to deliver, I paid so much to receive frustrions and disappointments. Also, it really ruin your whole day when you moved yo je works to make it to appointments that were cancelled and nobody gave a F to inform you.

Fantastic experience: Last week I saw the amazing Vinita. I was in the chair for nearly 90 minutes to fix my throbbing pain which she was able to do. Vinita was friendly professional and determined to fix the issue. I will go back again no doubt.

Positive experience: I had my first appointment last week, had the best cleaning I’ve ever had with Mala! Definitely recommend her. The dentist I saw afterwards was good too and he explained about his treatment plan very well but he did not examine my teeth and made the plan mainly based on my x-ray, which resulted in missing a cavity in my wisdom tooth that wasn’t obvious in the x-ray.

Fantastic experience: I was terrified when I had to have my first extraction since the 1960s. I need not have been. It was over before I knew it had started. The service was exemplary, understanding and professional, as it has been since I began coming here a few years ago. Best dentists in town.

I made the appointment because (1) I’m afraid of the dentist and the name was reassuring, and (2) they were the first place out of many I called that would take an emergency booking. I’ve always had great experiences here. I’m not afraid of the dentist anymore: they’re all really friendly and professional and good at their jobs but with a great bedside manner. Fantastic experience: Like most people, I'm not a massive fan of going to the dentist, but every appointment i've had at Maven Dental has been a breeze. Most recently I've been seen by Melissa and Dr Simran and they are both an absolute dream to deal with! Very friendly and approachable, and make the whole experience a lot less daunting. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service, they have no respect for their clients and are way overpriced (when doing a price comparison I found another place to be $250 cheaper with the same quality of work). I would not recommend this place to anyone and after the service received I would be advising people to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The customer service I experienced at Maven Dental (from administration, to dental assistant and Dentist) was above and beyond - which I have found to be rare these days. Despite how intimidating dental visits can be, Dr. Lee thoroughly explained the procedure, and ensured my comfort throughout. The fees were transparently outlined prior to my appointment, and the services provided were thorough and exceeded expectations. Finally, the aesthetic of this practice is the best medical clinic I've seen yet. I will be returning and recommending to my family and friends.

Negative experience: Very unfortunate to give that score but I do need to share the experience. The clinic is great! However, they wouldn't accommodate being 10 min late. I was very excited to come back to the clinic even if it takes 30 driving time in order to get there. Booked appointment for my partner and kids as well. For my partner's appointment (took a while to get a car park. Another point to note: hard to get car park close by) by the time we parked and took our newborn out of the car and into the pram we waisted about 10 min. That's exactly the time we were late. Doctor said too late and sadly we had to drive all the way back home. What a waste of an hour! As a result, I had to cancel my other kids appointments in order to avoid the same disappointment.

Fantastic experience: I've had continual dental treatment throughout my life. Some experiences good, some excellent, and some extremely bad. I was extremely happy with all aspects of Maven's service. From Reception to Chair I felt cared for, and in great hands. I'm not great with mouth injections, never have been, but the dental nurses at Mavern New Farm are exactly that, dental NURSES. My dental nurse stroked my arm, held my hand, and verbally coached me through the short lived pain. In a politically correct world, sometimes those in the health industry are too scared to touch their clients (in a professional sense) and I applaud this practice for their humanity. If your previous dental experiences have formed a bad opinion or forged a downright phobia, going to this practice will be a lesson in how professionalism, humanity, and experience can come together to change your thinking. Thanks to you all.

Negative experience: CASH GRAB, was booked in for a Sunday appointment to have a Wisdom tooth removed, waited 4 hours for my appointment, only to have an xray done and said they could not remove it as they didnt have the time so they just cleaned the tooth and said I would need to book in again, charged me $270 to clean it and 4 days later I am still in massive pain.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of dentists, but the staff at Maven Dental were so lovely! I wanted a clean before I headed overseas and they made space for me at very short notice. I didn't have to wait at all, and the clean was thorough - my teeth/gums have been feeling great ever since. The hygienist, in particular, was very friendly, funny, yet professional and really helped me to understand the areas of my teeth that I need to brush better. I chipped my front tooth when I was young, which now has a cap on it, and she went above and beyond to polish it so that you can't even notice it anymore! They gave me a bag of dentist goodies also (special toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss), which goes to show that they really care for their work and their patients.

Fantastic experience: I get a lot of anxiety with most medical environments, especially anything involving needles (little own in my mouth). But this is the first time I had ever been to a private dentist, as I was a public referral. I think it's been the best so far! I was seen by Dr. Sidhu, who was very straightforward and explanatory. The reception and waiting area has a modern contemporary feel which has a subtle calmness (hence the former name). All the staff are compassionate, well mannered and polite, I would definitely come back to this clinic if I could!

The dentists and hygienists are caring and gentle. I've had several procedures done here with only great results. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work guys :)

Negative experience: I have never reviewed a business before but I feel that I should warn people about Calm Dental. I had a very, very disappointing experience with teeth whitening. I was not given appropriate advice about possible negative outcomes, that is, uneven results, even though I asked specific questions about it. I have been in touch with them and they state that they are changing their warnings, which is good. But it is of great concern to me that a so-called professional practice did not have proper procedures in place before now. Though the inadequate warning and uneven results were the most serious matters, there were other problems too. The teeth moulds had to be redone because the first person who took them did not do it properly, and they failed to give me enough gel for the full treatment. And the person I spoke to about the insufficient gel was very rude! They did offer me a refund, but the way it was offered was quite offensive. I was not seeking a refund. I wanted to know if anything could be done about the uneven results (it couldn't). My main concern was that other people would be given appropriate warnings in future. I strongly urge people to avoid Calm Dental.

Fantastic experience: I've always been a little nervous going to the dentist - but the dentists, hygienists and receptionist at this clinic are lovely!!

Negative experience: Years ago I went to this clinic and spent about $1000 to get my teeth whitened. Unfortunately I was left in the chair with no dentist, a timer buzzed - still no dentist. The whitening process was extended for too long and caused permanent damage to my two front teeth- the enamel cracked and fell away after a few months. Now I have to get compound every 1 -2yrs to protect the teeth. At the time they gave me a $50 dollar discount for the cracks. Wow!

Negative experience: Ended up losing a tooth due to a lack of follow up treatment given to a root canal procedure with no explanation given. Spent a lot of money at this clinic and ended up with a missing molar that, according to subsequent dental appointments at other clinics, didn't need to be lost. Very disappointing and I would not recommend.

The staff are all extremely friendly and professional and their pricing is also very reasonable. My future checkups are always booked in advance whilst I'm there and they even follow up with a postcard and a phone call to remind me of my appointment in the weeks leading up.

Positive experience: I almost gave it the full 5 stars. But saying I LOVE the dentist is perhaps just a little too far. This was my second Sunday emergency trip to Calm Dental. A root canal first time, and now a cracked tooth. Honestly, no pain. None. The smallest of pinches with one numbing needle. A bit of a stiff jaw from having my mouth open for an hour. But seriously... after a root canal. That's it. Highly recommend them for service, emergency availability, genuine staff and more numbing crème than you can poke a stick at. Thank you again Calm Dental.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Brisbane from Sydney 3 years ago and have been a patient of Calm Dental for the last 2.5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the surgery. All the staff are great - Bella at reception always greats me with a genuine smile and call me old fashion, but I like that Dr. Kham (my dentist) comes out to reception to greet and collect you and escort you in for your treatment. Notwithstanding the quality of care I have received has been excellent and I recommend Calm Dental without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I am 9 months pregnant and had some pretty urgent tooth work needed... was planning to wait until after baby came as had concerns about the effect such dental work could have on the baby. I spoke at length to the Calm Dental receptionist who completely eased my concerns in a very nurturing and caring way and so over a couple of appointments I have had all my tooth work done and now relaxed and ready and waiting for the baby to arrive. Calm Dental is a lovely environment with lots of warm, friendly staff available to create a lovely calm experience for you. Will definitely return.
