Fantastic experience: First time patient at Bupa Dental today. What a great located and professional establishment. My genuine thanks to Dr Saba and her dental assistant. I received not only 1st class treatment but 1st class advice, something rarely given at other Dental establishments. Maybe others have thought that I know everything about teeth care at my age but .... Dr Saba gave me new and up to date dental care instructions that I have never received. I also immediately went and bought a top of the range electric toothbrush solely on her advice for future personal dental care. So ... 5 stars for Dr Saba, her professional dental assistant and the team in reception.

Fantastic experience: Nobody likes going to the dentist but at this clinic it was a pleasure. Every staff member was professional, kind and friendly. I’ve only been once but I don’t dread my future appointments, knowing they’ll make it as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: We've been seeing Dr. Rose Macdonald for about two years now, and I couldn't be happier with the care our family has received. As a parent, it's hard to find a dentist who is not only professional but also great with kids, even teens —and Dr. Rose is exactly that. My kids are always at ease during their appointments, and she makes the entire experience feel comfortable and stress-free for them. One of the things I truly appreciate is how transparent and honest Dr. Rose is with her treatments. She never suggests unnecessary procedures, and she always takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring we understand what's needed and why. It's clear she prioritizes the well-being of her patients over anything else. On top of all that, Dr. Rose is gentle and compassionate, making every visit a positive one. I trust her completely and will continue bringing my family here for our dental care. I highly recommend Dr. Rose to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and skilled dentist!

Positive experience: This is a friendly reminder for treating staffs to wear DEODORANT and keep up with own personal hygiene. My two 3pm appointments in August 2025 was not pleasant. Imagine someone with a bad body odour hovering above your face. Couldn’t breathe with my mouth, couldn’t stand to breathe with my nose. Treatment was good. Reception and treating staffs were friendly.

Fantastic experience: Being of the older generation I’ve always had a fear of dentists. Fortunately I met Zoe at the reception and she assured me that I’d be looked after really well. Zoe’s customer service skills were exceptional and she made me feel really welcomed. She made my appointment with Dr. Rose and her dental nurse Wajma who were brilliant. Always happy to explain things regarding my dental treatment in detail as someone with dental anxiety this means a lot to me. They care about you and hear your concerns. So many dentists to choose from. Reception is also very helpful in finding suitable times to work for me. Very thorough in helping understand claims and quotes and take time with you. They don’t rush you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rose MacDonald is amazing! I have sensitive teeth she is always very mindful of my comfort and numbs my mouth before hand. She cleans very quickly and like a butterfly obviously it's a teeth cleaning so it not going to be exactly like a butterfly but I don't see anyone else.... period!

Negative experience: If you would ever like to know how cattle would feel, this is the place. Corporatism of the dental industry.

Negative experience: Dr. June Young Heo did a general tooth clean this year for me, however, after two month, I still feel the pain around my tooth. After revisit, he referred me to a specialist which was the worst experience I have ever had. The specialist first told me it was my Fault since I opened my mouth too big during the cleaning so the muscle and tendon get stretched and the damage is permanent, also he mock my face shape said it was also the reason, and the specialist didn’t give useful treatment just told me go home and observe. I won’t go to this centre again.

Fantastic experience: The office is clean and tidy, receptionists are friendly and organised. I’ve had 2 dentists there and both were excellent. My only issue is that google maps keeps directing me to turn on the wrong street! It thinks they are at a dead end, which they aren’t.

Fantastic experience: The reception staff are so lovely and Dr June and Alysha were amazing! Dr June, apart from being a really skilled dentist, is a very kind, gentle and welcoming person. He gave me a thorough and honest briefing about my procedure, then he and Alysha made sure I was comfortable before they began. It was a root canal and to say the least, I’m not great in the chair, but they put me at ease throughout and worked with smooth skill and precision that made the experience almost a pleasure. As much as a root canal can be! It’s been nearly a week and all is good. I’m going back in about a month to complete the treatment and am actually looking forward to it! Thank you Dr June, Alysha and the BUPA crew.

Negative experience: DO NOT book with Dr. Jessica Huang!!! Today I went in to get a chipped composite bonding fixed and she told me it was “scientifically impossible” even though I’ve had it done to other teeth 3 seperate times at the same surgery and was looking at the proof on my file in front of me. She did no consult, just shaved my tooth down (front tooth) so it’s now uneven and highly sensitive! She also tried to tell me “shorter teeth look more feminine”. I told her I wasn’t happy and to put bonding over my tooth and she just kept repeating that it is “scientifically impossible” when clearly it isn’t because I’ve had it done before. She was rude, incompetent and I wouldn’t even trust her to clean my teeth. Dr. June is incredible and I recommend him highly.

Fantastic experience: Really good dentist, tentative to my dental needs and did what other dentists failed to. Informative every step of the way during the process of getting teeth work done with no hidden surprises. Front staff were very friendly and approachable given the business of the establishment. Will be back to get all my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: We had a family appointment here today and it was amazing. Both our lovely dentist and her wonderful assistant were so warm and welcoming to my entire family. My husband and I had both been avoiding the dentist for some time, but we got clear feedback and remedy for our issues and I felt so confident and supported, no judgment at all. Just the idea that we need to do better if we want to protect our teeth. My daughter who is 6 had her first appointment and she LOVED IT. They were explaining everything and so kind and reassuring. This is exactly how a practice should operate. The admin staff were very kind and approachable and seemed to really love the environment as well. Overall 10/10. We’ve already booked to re attend in 6 months and I’ll be back shortly for some additional needed treatment which was explained to me with no judgment and honest feedback. The team here really care. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: Beware, dentist tend to overcharge here without letting you know in advance and also the quality of work was not up to the mark. I have been a BUPA member for the last 10 years and thought of going to the nearest BUPA dental clinic to get my cap done that came out fitted back again. The cap came out in 2 days again after being fitted by the dentist at the clinic so was really disappointed by their quality of work. The clinic was overall clean and new and therefore the 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: Overall great experience. Bupa Moorabbin is very easily accessed with plenty of parking and close to public transportation. As soon as walk in the door the environment is very clean and comfortable. I was quickly attended to with minimum waiting time. Jessica the dentist and her assistant were very nice and professional. She explains to me every procedure and gave me many options. The result was great and I am very pleased with the experience. Highly recommended Bupa Moorabbin to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience today from bupa dental. The lady from reception was very calming, patient and extremely helpful in assisting me with quotes for various work to be undertaken with my teeth. Both her and the dentist, Dr Jessica were amazing which helped me so much to calm my nerves with pain from dental work and with a plan regarding the total cost too.

Negative experience: Good day, just wanted to provide feedback on our experience yesterday at Bupa Moorabin. During my 6 yr old appointment, he choked and i pulled my son up quickly so I can remove the mouth piece and 2 piece of huge cotton role from his mouth. My son head position was way too low and susceptible from choking. If I didnt pull him up, it could be much worse. The doctor even intended to use numbing injection on my 6 yr old son without consulting me which could grealty affect the dental experience due to injection which was not necessary. On my turn, he said he will be gentle but he was tugging at the side of my mouth too much which almost like tearing the side of my mouth. He tried to use the cotton inside my tongue and yes indeed it made me gag which I wonder the experience is much worse for my son’s smaller mouth given he did the same. We always go to bupa moorabin due to great experience since 2020 with dr rose, dr sandra, but we will definitely avoid him at all cost and want to warn other parents as well for their kid’s safety. Also he didnt use the monitor for us to have a view of the procedure happening and after the restorative which was practically a filling , he didnt care to show the final result so I dont have a reference of what was done before and after for me or my son. Lastly, due to choking incident, instead of 3 he completed 2 only for my son, but on receipt there was 3 teeth on the invoice. Does that mean he started on a tooth somewhere and did not complete? I dont have any idea what that tooth looks like now if it started and not completed for the filling which can leave the tooth vulnerable. In summary, we had a horrible experience. I lost sleep last night rewinding the bad choking experience of my son and there is also a tiny cut on the inside of my son’s mouth from yesterday so sad.

Negative experience: They cancelled my daughter's appointment for 5 min delay while we always wait more than 20 minutes to visited I'm not sure who's decision was to cancel a kid appointment before holiday But will never come back again and thinking to move to an other insuranceas well to get a better treatment and respect It is very Disappointing to deal with people who treat patients like products I won't be frustrated if it was my appointment but kids definitely can't tolerate as adults and you have created a very bad outlooks of a dentist in her mind

Negative experience: Had to have a filling redone after just 2 weeks and same thing happened to another tooth. Plus, something wrong with a crown.

Fantastic experience: I cannot fault my experience this week at Bupa Dental Moorabbin . I virtually booked two days prior , parked outside and met a happy group behind the reception desk . Sandra Foster was the dentist I was given and she was delightfully professional . She explained every step to me and she and her offsider made me completely at ease during the procedure .

Negative experience: Today I went to bupa Moorabbin for fill a broken teeth I was so disappointed because they check my tooth not at least five minutes and said to come two hours later also charge 55$ for gap fees , I came from lilydale just to 3-4 minutes inspection and charge 55$ never go there please

Negative experience: Reception staff are super rushed and constantly making errors. They do not listen and just want to tick things and people off as quick as they can. Dentist was also rushed. Scale and clean felt more like a speedy stir-fry in my mouth. Quantity over quality here at this clinic.

As a person who has a genuine dislike of the overall dental experience, they always make sure that I'm really well looked after. I also recently had my teeth whitened and I have to say the results are amazing. The process was fast and it was excellent value for money. I highly recommend them!

Positive experience: I've always been to the big chains like Smile Solutions in the city centre. However, i saw Bupa dental clinic for the first time through Bupa website. So, being a Bupa member, i thought I'll give it a go. I was very impressed the first time today for checkup and cleaning. Clinic was clean and reception staff was effective and professional. My dentist and her assistant were very efficient and caring. I love my dentist so I'll go back for all my dental treatment. Well done Bupa!

Negative experience: Worst cleaning service ever. The dentist rushed to serve the next patient. Very painful and bloody experience. When I got out of the room, my mouth was full of blood. After cleaning service, I could not eat anything for whole day as my mouth was so sore.

Fantastic experience: Hello, I would just like to pass on my sincere thanks to Dr Tanya Margolin at Bupa Dental Moorabbin. I visited her recently to have a filling replaced, which I was very hesitant about. When I had the filling put in initially about 3 years ago (by another dentist and clinic), I had constant pain in the tooth for a month. I re-visited the clinic and the dentist drilled the tooth again, and the pain was more severe after this. In total I had pain for about 6 months. So as you can imagine I was very nervous about having the filling replaced! Tanya was wonderful throughout the process and was very patient with me. I can also happily say that I have had no pain whatsoever since the filling (even after the initial numbing wore off), and the sensitivity from that tooth has also disappeared. As someone who usually dreads the dentist, Tanya made it an almost enjoyable experience! Tanya will definitely be my regular dentist from here onwards! I should also mention that the reception staff are always lovely to deal with, and the clinic itself is modern, clean and welcoming. Thanks again!

Negative experience: Disappointing result. Came here as there were extra benefits with my Bupa health insurance and ended up getting two fillings. Had problems with both. I did go back and the dentist said one was fine and the other we should just watch and wait as it was close to a nerve but may settle. I ended up seeking a second opinion less than a week later because of pain. Unfortunately, one had not been properly contoured resulting in food impaction and the other was leaking. Whilst I understand a complication can occur sometimes, to have problems with two independent fillings is disappointing. This ended up resulting in multiple trips to another dentist and exhausting my dental cover for the year. ☹️

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing for helping my anxiety. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 15 years and after seeing Dr Sandra Foster for 6 fillings I can confidently say I no longer feel worried about it. She is amazing!!! So calming and talks you through everything. Props to the lovely reception staff too who are so empathetic and kind. Definitely recommend this place for anxious people!

Receptionists are always helpful, and inform me with the pricing details before I book the appointment, so never get surprised by the bill at the end. Dr Jimmy Yang and his team is really professional and patient. Had my wisdom teeth out without any drama or complication and had my first dental clean up in my life, and it went very well. Will definitely come back here again!

Negative experience: Never again. Worst experience ever Save your money and see a real dentist

Negative experience: EXPENSIVE! Steer clear of this dental practice. As a Bupa customer, I chose these guys because I assumed my costs would be minimised and rebates maximised. First strike was the 'free consult' where I was told I wasn't an Invisalign candidate for which they billed over $80 to my health fund and attempted a $12 gap to me. Strike two was the $320+ it cost to have my kids perfect teeth examined and cleaned. A gap payment of $88 was tacked on to their 'Gap Free Dental' scheme which I didn't pay. I mean $48 for a kids exam with a hygienist when there isn't even a nurse charting?! I will be sticking to our excellent, privately owned dentist in future after wrongly assuming she would cost more. I NEVER have a gap with her for the kids. Find someone who charges appropriately as these guys are way off the mark.

Positive experience: Best dental practice I've been too. Super clean, bright and I loved my dentist!

Negative experience: The only thing that I can compliment on is the friendly and considerate attitude from receptionist. I’ve been treated by Helena Vinokurov, who had no basic knowledge or skills of a proper dentist. I had to ask her a couple time to clarify what she referred to as ‘your crown will fail’. I was there for an urgent and temporary fix-up. Not only was nothing fixed properly, now I had problems and experiencing pain when biting. I chose this practice due to limited time and the name of Bupa. Now due to this experience, I’m not sure if I want to stay with Bupa. The charge was quite high. I struggle to comprehend why there4 is a $49.50 exam charge as it went straight to problem tooth. Please stay away from this practice.

Positive experience: was nerve racking after not being to the dentist for more than 10 years!!! Yikes!!!! like a 5 yr old the doc put me at ease with different distractions!!! professional clean and friendly! Can highly recommend for big kids and little kids

Negative experience: very quick checking but expensive, I brought my two kids to do the check-up and clean, my elder one just spent 15 minutes , my little one spent 1 minute, total $300. Comparing with other dentists that I have been to, including public and private, this one is not worthwhile. I feel they just try to make money from medical kids dental scheme, not caring about the customers.

Negative experience: Be careful this isn't a dentist clinic it's owned by a con artist who fools naive people into believing that they need excessive treatment that are so damn unnecessary. This is a business run to make money and that's it, and I am sure the presence of two Porsche's and the massive diamond ring on the owners hand goes to prove it. They way the staff behaves to their fellow customers is absolutely disgusting. My sister was going through a painful phase with her teeth, and instead of resolving the issue at hand the organisation maxed out the insurance by carrying out unnecessary treatments which over the 45 minutes charged just about 1000 dollars. I kid you not people this kind of business is absolute filth. Growing up I always knew that doctors first hand duty is to resolve health issues but the owner of Big Star Dental Centre clearly exploits them. Yes they do talk about big smiles and I am sure that the owner of this absolute filth of an organisation carry's one every night she sleeps knowing how much money she earned by simply fooling the general public like us. Big Star Dental Centre I am sure that our business puts a massive smile on your face because it surely didn't on my sister whose issue is still not resolved. We need to end this, I request you to please take care when you utilise this organization or any as such because I would never recommend this to anyone. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I put off for years having my teeth 'fixed' and was overwhelmed by the options available in the marketplace. I finally decided on Mark Krasny based on recommendations and looking over photos of his work. I am so happy with my Investment, and now have pain free eating and a smile that looks completely natural!! Why did I wait?

Negative experience: The dentist I saw wanted to maximise her billings rather than prioritise my needs, my 1000 dollar bill for the visit include photographs and minor fillings that took less than 10 minutes in total but made up for half of the bill. Now I still have dental work to be done but my extras cover allowance has been used up for the year. If only I could use the money spent for much needed work not photographs and minor things. She just wanted the money on the day and added as many item numbers as she could in the visit.

Negative experience: Went in for a whiting but asked to get a cleaned even though I had a clean about a month ago. I still did the clean and rebooked for a whiting two weeks later. Two weeks later I went in and guess what they didn't whiten my teeth but clean it again!! I got my teeth cleaned 3 times within 2 months $300 each clean! My teeth are so sore now!!! Feels like they will fall off. VERY DISAPOINTED and VERY ANGRY. Untill now I still haven't got my teeth whiting done. Never EVER will I go back again. All They want to do is charge you money!!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the fabulous team at Bright Star Dental Centre for treating my toothache with such gentle care. I was seen on the same day as an emergency patient and my treatment was swift and alleviated my pain immediately.
