Fantastic experience: Having been a regular client for some time now, it’s of my opinion that Dr. Tam’s chair side manner is so refreshingly empathetic, and consistently informative! His attention to detail, and his care and patience has one leaving his clinic feeling informed, without any judgement on his part, whatsoever. He’s encouraging and not at all dismissive or giving a hurried manner with his work, either. In addition, the clinic’s pricing is much more affordable compared to many others. I do highly recommend the clinic.

Fantastic experience: For someone who has been visiting dentists all over the world for over 60 years I can clearly say that Dr Tam is one of the best dentists that I have had the pleasure of visiting. Ever and Anywhere. One of my elderly sons had a range of procedures with Dr Tam this year and I was so impressed with Dr Tam and the staff at the clinic that I recommended another son to visit Dr tam for an emergency procedure. I was so impressed with the professionalism, care and bedside manner of Dr Tam that I have just been to see him with my own dental emergency. The care taken with a complex extraction was outstanding. When I went to pay the bill, I found than almost everything was fully covered by NIB and the amount was so low I jokingly suggested he wasn’t charging enough. To cap it off, I then received follow-up text messages from Dr Tam just checking that there was no pain and the gum was healing OK. I can say that with all the dental procedures I have had I have never been followed-up by the dentist to make sure I was OK. Wherever you live, if you have a dental issue make the effort to travel to Footscray for some special dental care by Dr Tam and the staff at Footscray Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: When l first booked with Dr Tam it was for our son and found him to be very helpful and so much positive energy. My son found it to be so relaxing and helpful . Then my hubby while we were there also booked an appointment to get his dentures done . My hubby has been there five times now and every time it’s been just amazing service and so much information to help us . My hubby just two weeks has gotten his dentures and he is so happy . But the care from Dr Tam didn’t stop he still sent messages just to check up . Hubby has been back to just fix the fitting of his dentures and again Dr Tam has been so professional and giving so much care . My hubby now smiles with confident and can eat better . Fantastic experience: Saw Tam first time today. I was recommended a root canal by other dentist but Tam removed the infection and the rest, and suggested i see a specialist if that doesn't fix the problem. With his knowledge, I m sure he can perform the RC treatment but instead he wants me to see a specialist. He was very upfront, explainatory and ver reasonably priced and best of all pain free. Keep up with the quality service. Definitely returning, even with family members

There is none of the upselling, the confusing terminology, the shaming that you can get in other practices around town (& in Footscray!!). This is a genuine family business that does excellent work. I really appreciated the way Dr Tam talked through the entire procedure, got consent to proceed with any next steps, including being upfront and transparent about costs. I had such a positive experience getting a broken tooth repaired, that I ended up booking in for two additional appointments - a full assessment & clean PLUS got two fillings that I needed (but had been ignoring). Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Tam for a second opinion. He gave clear, sound and considered advice and treated my issue appropriately with no problems following the treatment. Dr Tam explained to me that his approach is conservative and only intervenes/drills tooth when necessary. His fees are reasonable and affordable compared to the previous Footscray practice I saw who suggested more drastic treatment. Dr Tam and staff came across as trustworthy with a genuine care for oral health. I would continue to attend this clinic in the future.

Negative experience: It's not a place to visit with unprofessional dentist, until now my gum still bleed after drilling the wrong tooth just to make more money out me.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tam provides a reasonable service at a reasonable price. He charges a minimal fee for a scale and clean and this is important. It allows people with periodontal disease to get on top of the problem and basically cure it. All in all I have been extremely happy with this dentist. He is attentive, knowledgeable and courteous.
