Fantastic experience: Fabulous dentist for children. Sets up a good experience and a safe space so that getting their teeth checked is fun and not scary. Dr. Sabrina is wonderful at talking to the kids and puts them at ease. I low key wish they would see me as an adult haha. Will definitely be back for our check ups.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (11 years old) gets very nervous when it comes to visiting dentist. Recently she had an adult tooth removed at different place and it was very difficult experience for her. When we arrived to Tooth Town, we were meet with a kind smiles. During the visit, the dentist and assistant went beyond my expectations to help my daughter to stay calm. My daughter asked if the can hold the assistant hand. The staff was so accommodating to my daughters needs. They took time to listen to her and the dentist even sang a song to help calm my daughter. Thank you again for amazing service. We will be back again.

Negative experience: Been there twice over a 2 year period. Left unhappy both times. First time Dentist jumped straight to saying an invasive and painful procedure was needed when ultimate pathways to fix issue exist (and now issue is resolved by those other treatments). Second time only saw the hygienist, not even the Dentist, who dismissed the pain my daughter complains of. Well guess what? She is still experiencing pain. Shocking, since no further investigation offered or pathways suggested. Just "there's nothing there. Goodbye". Also, it's not as subtle as you think to try and defend yourselves to every single complaint with "we have no record of you as a patient." Heard of fake names? I'm using one, like many do, because we have the right to privacy AND to speak of our experiences the way we felt it went. So no, you won't have record of a Zoe Fields. I felt the same as Rebecca's review.

We’re truly sorry to hear that you’ve left unhappy with your visits, that’s never the experience we want for any of our families.
To clarify a few points: our dentists would never recommend a painful procedure. We use modern anaesthetic techniques and child-centred behavioural approaches to ensure every visit is as calm and comfortable as possible.
At your second visit, you were seen by an Oral Health Therapist (OHT), who is fully qualified and registered to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, including check-ups, cleans, fillings, X-rays, and thorough clinical examinations. If no signs of disease or dental cause for pain are detected through examination or imaging (which are the only reliable ways to diagnose issues), it is considered best practice to monitor rather than perform unnecessary treatment.
If your daughter is still experiencing discomfort, we sincerely hope she finds relief soon and encourage further assessment if needed. From your description, it sounds like this has been difficult to resolve despite several assessments with different practitioners, which we completely understand can be very frustrating.
We also respect everyone’s right to privacy. However, without accurate patient details, we’re unable to properly review what occurred or offer individual follow-up. We always welcome genuine feedback under a real name so we can investigate and provide support directly.

Fantastic experience: Took our baby boy here for the first time. Dr Candy was exceptional! Very measured in tongue tie assessment and recommended more conservative approach before surgery which we will try. Very clean welcoming and child friendly dentist. Will be out dentists for our child’s lifetime.

Fantastic experience: For any Brisbane mums with a baby that has lip and/or tongue tie, I cannot recommend HELEN FUNG at Toothtown enough. After a lot of research deciding who to go with, we just had my little one’s tongue tie released by Helen, and it was an immediate improvement on latch/feeding. Helen was thorough explaining everything, gentle in her approach, conservative in her treatment (my baby had a tongue and lip tie, but Helen recommended only the tongue be released, as there was enough flexibility in her lip), and very reassuring before and after the procedure. You can really tell that the babies wellbeing is her first priority, myself and my partner were very impressed with the whole experience. She was also able to get us in last minute for a next day procedure which we are so so thankful for. Helen was even willing to fit her in in her lunch break if we couldn’t make the other time slot of 8.30am. Truly an amazing and selfless woman. Whilst I’m sure it isn’t a nice experienced for any baby, my little one was able to latch straight away and have a big nap afterwards, so can’t of been in too much pain either. So so impressed !

Negative experience: Felt uncomfortable from the start, staff came across cold, dismissive and rushed like going through the motions. There is a fake politeness at play that disappears the moment you hesistate or ask for clarity. Also a push towards products and services without explanation, its the kind of place that looks friendly on the surface but leaves with you walking out with more doubt than confidence. Never again

Negative experience: Was told this was a gentle, family-friendly clinic, but didn’t expect to get handed unmarked floss with fluoride in it for my child — no label, no heads-up, just “here you go.” When I asked questions, I got more attitude than answers. Kindness goes out the window real quick when you don’t nod along. If you're fine with mystery ingredients and vague communication, maybe it's your vibe. Personally, I’ll be going somewhere that respects parental awareness.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with Tooth Town for my daughter’s dental surgery under general anesthesia. Dr. Helen Fung was very thorough in explaining the procedure and made sure we were fully informed, and felt comfortable with the treatment plan. Leading up to the surgery date, and on the day of the surgery, Dr. Fung and her team were amazing, making sure my daughter was well taken care of from start to finish. Fantastic experience: My daughter loves visiting there. They have a range of kid friendly dental tools that make the experience more enjoyable and give them and let her choose with glasses, flavour of Toothpaste etc that make her feel included. The staff explain in detail what is happening and give helpful advice on what products to use and where to find them. Would recommend to anyone with young children.

Fantastic experience: It's a shame google only let's 5 star ratings as Tooth Town is so much more than that! It was the first time my family has been there this morning. Out of the handful of dentist practices I've been or where I've taken my children, Tooth town is the absolute best!!! From booking, it was a breeze, accommodating, friendly. On arrival reception staff gave a warm welcome. The wait area was immaculate, with a wide range of great selection of toys or drawings/books to keep the kids and yourself occupied in the meantime. My daughter had Dr Emily and Dr Emily was so patient and kind. Very thorough - Gets straight to what needs to be said but in a lovely, calm way. My daughter was a little upset during her visit as it was only her second dentist since a baby and I'm so glad my daughter was in the care of Dr Emily. She made sure to reasure my daughter without being pushy or mean. It was lovely to witness. Dr Emily's assistant for this morning was just as kind! (Sorry didn't catch her name) Dr Emily explained everything clearly! And again, on our way out reception staff made my day (and I'm sure my daughters) with their care. It was so nice to have an encounter with such lovely workers and to know people like that are caring for your child/children. Thanks Tooth Town. Will definitely be back for future check ups/care and also would 110% recommend this practice to anyone in need.

Fantastic experience: Tooth Town is a fantastic paediatric dentist. From the moment you walk in, you know your child is in safe hands. The waiting room is filled with toys and activities for the kids, setting them up to be comfortable. We have been visiting since our little one was just before 2 and they have been really accomodating each time. The first time we visited, they showed him the room, asked if he wanted to sit, he said no so they left him, had a chat to us and then tried to playfully look at his teeth. The second time was similar but he sat in the chair and they had a screen above the chair to entertain him. This time was the third and he sat in the chair and did all the components, even getting a clean and fluoride treatment! The best part for him is being able to choose a prize at the end, which is such a fantastic idea and makes it rewarding for the kids.

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault toothtown! My 2 years old has been 3 times now, and each time has been an amazing experience. Dentist Cindy got down and played trucks with my son so get him comfortable until he was ready to go and sit in the chair. She is absolutely beautiful with children and had him happy and comfortable in seconds. The dental surgery itself is clean and welcoming. Wonderful experience every time!

Negative experience: They performed additional procedures on my daughter’s teeth without informing me before, during, or after the procedure, and I only found out when I received an unexpectedly high bill a week later. The procedure for my daughter’s front teeth is unnecessary because the it is going to falling off as she is 6 years old. I spend extra $700 dollars on this procedure and They didn’t even apologize for this miscommunication. I just want to say that their “eating manner”are very ugly not like a professional dentist. I’m very disappointed with their work.
Without discussing specifics of any case, signed consent forms are obtained prior to any treatment being provided, and our clinicians follow the instructions of parents wishes, as per the signed consent form. An outline of treatment provided is discussed on the day of the procedure, and a follow-up email is sent within two business days. There is a level of parental responsibility to read all communications thoroughly in a timely manner. Should you wish to discuss this further, please respond to our earlier email.
Negative experience: I’ve mistaken that based on the review I thought it was really excellent but no. Their quality of treatment is poor that me and my little one had to come again. After first treatment, my baby’s gum got swollen and bleeding gums. Facilities are also not friendly and helpful at all. All of them were passive aggressive.

Definitely the place to go if you have an atypical kiddo who needs some extra TLC. Support staff are also very inclusive.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Evelyn takes her time with the kids and explains new things calmy. I love that the kids can choose which toothbrush attachment and toothpaste are used. Overall a very positive experience, even for my anxious kid.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her second dental visit today - first at Tooth Town. She’s just turned three and Dr Alex was able to examine all her teeth, take 2 x-rays, clean them with the polish brush and apply fluoride. This place is a great kid’s dentist! The waiting room has lots of toys so come early so your kids can play! Highly recommend.
