Dr Trinh Vu and the assistant that helped me today were patient with my needs whenever I needed a break and were both reassuring and thorough during my dental check. The general clean included a consultation recommending me what to do to keep my teeth healthy (they were patient whenever I needed things to be repeated, which was really nice), as well as pictures and an x-ray to show me problem areas when discussing what to do - very convenient! :)

The booking was for my wife , Jonah . We made the booking ahead of time , as we were going on holidays . It was a tooth extraction . It was the only time that we had available . It was cancelled at the last moment . It was very inconvenient to go on our honeymoon with an infected tooth . Reply . We had the tooth extraction performed in Melbourne . It didn't take an hour . A lot less . More than an hour to extract a tooth ? You had already taken the X-ray too . The bottom line is I am not happy with the service we received . You can say what you want . I think that we should leave it at that . Thank you .

Negative experience: As my first appointment for just a general check up and cleaning, I am very disappointed. I had the dentist Thao Luu. The whole process seemed very rushed and she was using my forehead & face as a rest for her hand! It was heavy and made the glasses dig onto my face. I was not well informed about what's happening during the procedure and neither the assistant nor the dentist introduced themselves. They mumble their words and do things hastily. The dentist even hastily tilted my head to the side without asking me beforehand! Please use proper verbal instructions so we can do it ourselves instead or at least say "I'll just slightly tilt your head to the side" then do it GENTLY. I did not feel like my teeth were thoroughly cleaned. They were rushing (even though her assistant told me they weren't busy that day) and did not even ask me if I have any questions or concerns about my mouth/teeth (one of the reasons why I attend check ups is because I have concerns to ask too). Moreover, they didn't close the door and I never felt so uncomfortable in my life laying down with my mouth open for other people walking down the hallway to see. But at least the receptionist was kind and friendly.

If you have had bad experiences with a dentist, have anxiety or trauma related to dental experiences - this is the place to go. 2.5 weeks ago I had a top left wisdom tooth out that was causing migraines and impacting my Competitive Powerlifting training. I'm a Competitive athlete, so I rely on my teeth being in good health to lift as you do have tension and impact on your jaw and teeth. Dr. Trinh took everything I said on board and came up with a plan. As an athlete and person, can safely say he is genuinely the best dentist for general health and those who are professional athletes. There was ZERO pain. I didn't even feel the numbing needle going into the gum, he was gentle, took his time, and the tooth came out clean. His dental nurse was gentle, spoke softly (both did) and not once was there a moment of pain. Zero pain. None. It was literally incredible work. Today I had my checkup appointment to make sure it was healing well, and we had perfect feedback. They gave me a clear handout to be able to do after care, I followed it to the letter. It goes to show they are there for their patients even during after care. As a child I had always negative painful experiences with a dentist. I have clinically diagnosed Anxiety and PTSD, Dr. Trinh and his team made me comfortable, felt safe and clearly explained everything so I could understand. It was truly a brilliant experience and I look forward to continuing to look after my oral health with this team. The receptionist staff are brilliant. They will call to confirm, ensure you feel comfortable, answer any questions that they can or pass on to the Dr. to answer it for you. They truly go above and beyond. As a small business owner, they respect you financially as well. They are clear about costs, private health and future quotes for any work needing to be done. Something I personally appreciate to be able to add my health into my own personal budget. I cannot express my thanks enough to Dr. Trinh Vu and his team! Absolutely incredible work. Fantastic experience: I just attended Marion Dental Clinic today and had a very pleasant and satisfactory experience. Dr Trinh Vu was very thorough and explained all my options as well as the pros and cons prior to starting with the procedure. He’s the 3rd dentist that I have consulted about building up a broken tooth and he’s the only one who agreed to do it. I couldn’t be happier with the result. To top it all his fees are VERY reasonable. We have found our new dentist in Adelaide! 5 stars recommendation!

Both have given exceptional service and given very reasonable rates when combined with private health care. Dr Quynh's gentle approach made the handful of filings over the years a painless process, and Dr Trinh Vu's fresh enthusiasm and dedication to gum hygiene is like none I have encountered with a dentist before. Fantastic experience: Briefly about my oral health over 16 months ago I had 4 loose infected teeth waiting to be extracted by a dentist in the City of Adelaide in mid-December 2020. While waiting for my sister to visit her dentist in early December 2020 at Torrensville Dental Clinic, the clinic formerly owned by Dr Trinh Vu & his wife Dr Thao Luu; I asked Dr Trinh Vu for a second opinion on the pros and cons of tooth extraction and dental implants. I was provided all the information in details and Dr Trinh Vu & Dr Thao Luu both advised to keep these teeth first by scraping the deep roots and if unsuccessful, extracting them. I thought why not give it a try and the amazing result was that the loose teeth were restored back to being stable and stronger. Fortunately, I no longer have gum infections, and I am so grateful to have met these excellent dentists. It not easy to find a reliable, dedicated, and professional dentist as Dr Trinh Vu or Dr Thao Luu so I don’t mind the 45-minute drive (it can take an hour or so at peak time) to their new clinic, the Marion Dental Clinic. Once again, I sincerely thank the doctors. Highly recommended for their services.

Fantastic experience: I first time came to this clinic to extract a tooth more than 2 year ago. After checking up and taking X-ray, doctor Quynh advised me that I was having a bad gum issue which was causing my tooth to loosen. Doctor Quynh organised me the other 2 appointments in the two following weeks. In the second and third appointments, I was explained that my teeth needed deeply cleaning. It should be painful. Quynh and Kate were very careful and gentle. They were almost asking me about the pain every minute. I’ve been coming back there in every 3 months for teeth check-up and cleaning. Great service.

Could not recommend higher, the dentist I saw has been so kind and gentle, constantly checking if I was having any pain during cleanings and going above and beyond to inform me about areas I can look into to assist with my jaw pain. A lovely place with kind and considerate people running it!

Negative experience: Terrible service, ruined my teeth. I had a cavity which needed a good filling. They were trying to sell me more expensive options. Filling fell out twice, went to another dental clinic got a new filling and haven’t had any issues for the past 2 years. Definitely don’t recommend this place!

Negative experience: Kate the Dentist was excellent but unfortunately she is no longer there. “Never go to this Dental Clinic” Since her leaving I have see a dentist once and they were suppose to phone me one week later, I phoned them 2 days after they should have got back to me and I was told the senior dentist would contact me the following day. This has not happened so I now need to wait until Monday to contact them again. I am in pain which they know. Update: since having 2 teeth removed on the 2nd of this month it is now the 29th I have now had 2 pieces of tooth work their way down in the socket and come away with flesh attached. They tell this is “NORMAL” NO IT ISN’T

Negative experience: Very Poor service, I went to the clinic for general dental check up and cavities filled under their recommendation. I walked into the clinic with a pain free happy face to fill the teeth and came out with on and off pain, I was in constant pain nearly a week, I tried to get back to the clinic but no appointments. Finally Kate saw me after 4 days when I was double booked with someone else so quickly patched up with some antibiotics and sent me home. Week later, I had to go to a different dentist to refill the teeth and was pain free on the same day. I lived on pain relief for a week and was not able to be at work, never going back there. No empathy to clients.

The staff were incredibly understanding and had me come in straight away. I was feeling quite anxious and in a lot of pain, but the staff made me feel very welcome and at ease. I didnt have to wait long to be seen by the dentist, and they sorted my problem as quickly as possible. All the staff were very a professional and welcoming, with outstanding customer service.
