Fantastic experience: When visiting Sydney I experienced a dental emergency and needed immediate treatment. I read all the 5-star reviews about Horizon Dental with scepticism (thinking surely they were paid reviews!). However - I had an amazing experience with the team. I was able to book a same day emergency appointment where my troublesome wisdom tooth was extracted with calm, comfort and at a very reasonable cost. Amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Went to Horizon and saw Dr David Kozor recently. Was first time at this clinic after recently moving to Sydney. The treatment was very comprehensive and provided services that I had not had at a dentist previously. Dr David has a great temperament and I was fully at ease through the entire process. Fantastic experience: WHERE IS THE EXTRA 10+STARS ! As someone who has struggled with teeth issues since I was young, having been to multiple dentist I have now found my dentist. I’ve been a regular for the last year and it has been the best dental experience! From the start DR David and the wonderful team welcomed me into there beautiful tidy clinic, dr David took his time and went over all my teeth problems and there were a lot. He was so precise and actually explained everything that was wrong with my teeth( this was something that I never had experienced in my whole other dentist experiences ) he come up with a whole treatment plan to get my teeth looking and feeling like new literally. My biggest thanks to dr David and the team for giving me the chance to smile again I can’t stop smiling. Will

Negative experience: having recently moved to the area, after being with the same dentist for over 20years, I thought to give Horizon a try as locally close. I initially saw Dr Mark Dennes who was very helpful and professional and so decided to stay with them. Six months on for my next visit, as Mark is on an extended leave, I’ve decided to book an appointment with the principal Dr David Kozor, even though there was a good couple of weeks waiting time. Regretfully, Dr Kozor didn’t appreciate the new client/patient and thought it more worthwhile to start the weekend early as I was told when I arrived that he had already left for the weekend and I can see another dentist of their choice. This is without even letting the patient know in advance and giving them the curtesy of deciding who they will choose to be seen by. How very unprofessional and disrespectful! Needless to say, I’ll be looking for a new dentist, hopefully the one that actually wants and needs new patients in their practice.

Fantastic experience: So glad that I chose here to get my veneers. I was excited and nervous about it but was supported all the way by Dr Kozor and his wonderful team. Fantastic experience: Update for 2024: - Well, after a root canal, and several fillings and a crown put on, basically a healthy mouth once again, I can’t thank Dr David enough for his exceptional brilliant work. Without his reassuring approach I would undoubtedly be up the creek without a paddle. I’m looking forward to my break away for 6-8 months, but I’ll be back as keen you possibly can be for seeing the dentist once again, come 2025 :) 2023- I’m someone who hasn’t been to the dentist in 20 years and I’ve always had a crippling-like fear of the dentist. Dr David was an excellent dentist, who persevered treating me, when other dentists wanted to give me general. Had a fantastic experience and will be going again.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal & crown done with Dr. David Koser at Horizon Dental & the experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I met Dr.David he was very professional and friendly.  He explained to me in full what was required before beginning the treatment ensuring I was well informed & used photos & x-rays he had taken to explain each step to me which made it much easier for me to understand the process. The treatment consisted of 3 visits and each visit was extremely pleasant, completely pain free & nice and relaxing (the most comfortable dental chair I've ever sat in!). Dr. David was very thorough in carrying out his work, leaving no stone unturned. He did a full assessment of all my teeth to ensure that I had no further issues. Unfortunately for me there were a few, but Dr. David attended to those with ease and his knowledge and professionalism was extremely evident. Fantastic experience: Dr. David was probably, if not definitely responsibility for undermining my fear (and maybe hatred of the dentist) - Lab coats, big smiles that don't put you at ease, right before a needle stabs towards you and some pliers -- -- if that is what is in your mind when heading to the dentist, let me try and fix that picture because that's not accurate at all. Step into over-white interior (reminiscent of your teeth before they discovered coffee), to be welcomed by what can only describe as what comes up when "radiant cover music" is searched on Spotify. Friendly staff, a comfortable chair and the most painless fillings I've ever had in my life. I almost fell asleep during them. 9/10 dentists recommend Colgate and I don't know if this dentist is one of them - all I know is 1/1 patients recommend this Dentist. You're welcome!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful newly renovated dental practice located right in the CBD. The practice is warm and inviting - think AESOP and Maison Balzac candles, more of a dental spa and relaxing rather than clinical. Dr Kozor is extremely knowledgeable, he is young and passionate. I watched Netflix while I had my teeth whitened which was also a bonus! I went in for whitening and although my teeth were already at the top end of the spectrum, he managed to add two more shades of brightness. So happy with the results!

Fantastic experience: The wisdom tooth on my upper left gum was badly decayed with a rather large cavity on it when I realized it, leaving less than half the tooth crown connected to the root. I understood it would be rather difficult to safely extract the decayed tooth in this case, as chances were the tooth might would break, leaving the root of the tooth inside the gum. Out of deep concern for this risk, I took no chance and contacted Horizon Dental in no time without considering the dental clinics that I had previously been to. Albeit it was the first time to Horizon Dental, the results were pleasing – (i) the badly decayed tooth was safely extracted wholly without me even feeling a thing about it (ii) a few other hidden problems were identified. Not only the dentist was professional but also the staff were friendly. I have recommended Horizon Dental to my wife for her future dental care and needs, and I would certainly recommend the same to anyone who is looking for a truly professional dental provider without having to spend the Earth.

Fantastic experience: During my stay in Sydney, I got a toothache. It was the day before I was due to fly on to Vietnam. After I couldn't get an appointment with other dentists, I reached David's practice and got an appointment for the afternoon. David quickly found the problem tooth, x-rayed it and started the treatment. David administered the anaesthetic injection painlessly and I felt nothing during the treatment. The problem was not easy to treat, but the professional dentist solved the problem. Thanks to David, I was able to visit the Opera House that evening and continue my trip the next day without pain. I can highly recommend this dentist!

Fantastic experience: Came here for checkup. They’re really good. Use X-ray and photos for a high level of care and so I can see what’s going on. The dentistry is immaculate - looks like it’s been newly renovated. Tv on the ceiling watching kangaroos bounce around is a nice touch. Staff are polite and warm. He is so gentle and kind and he really listens. And he has made me love my smile! I was terrified of dentists and my teeth were in really bad shape when I went to see David. I was so scared and worried, and from the very start Dr David was incredible. He was reassuring, he made sure that I wasn't in pain, and he took a lot of time to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible. He has also worked miracles on my teeth! I used to hide my teeth whenever I could - they were badly decayed and chipped and crooked, they generally just made me feel bad about myself. The skill with which he has rebuilt my teeth, many of which I had actually thought would've had to be pulled, is beyond anything I could have imagined! He always goes the extra mile to ensure that they are perfect. Not only that, but I actually feel very comfortable getting dental work done now - I would never have believed it if someone told me I would be drifting off in the chair while getting my teeth worked on, but Dr David makes me feel so calm and relaxed that I have! In the past I've had some terrible experiences with dental care - people who would be dismissive of my pain, wouldn't listen to my concerns, were not understanding of budgetary constraints and only increased my fear and prevented me from seeking dental treatment. I am so grateful to Dr David and the team at Horizon dental for turning that around. I absolutely love my smile now, and I could not be happier. Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from Dr. David Kozor and his team - the practice staff are very friendly and accommodating and I was able to get appointments scheduled with ease with no lengthy waiting times. The appointments always run to schedule too which is always a bonus! The treatment I received from Dr. Kozor (I had a crown prepped and fitted), was brilliant and has resulted in a perfect smile - very happy patient!
