I moved to this dental practice a couple of years ago when I had a dental abscess and my previous dentist 'emergency' service didn't respond. Edwina answered the phone on a Sunday and gave the advice/help I needed and then they rang first thing Monday to make an appointment for me. Very grateful for and impressed by this so changed dentists immediately and continue to be very impressed.

I was scared with a nasty infection and very swollen face and the team immediately booked me in to be seen. They were incredibly kind and welcoming and treated me with the kind of care you would a friend. Their adorable cavoodle mascot is an added bonus. You can tell the team really love what they do and I’m so grateful they were able to get everything for me under control swiftly. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at McMahons Point Dental for the past three years and have visited this practice for tooth replacements, fillings, extractions, crowns and other general dental procedures/care. I have been extremely happy with the results and the experiences I have had during all of my visits. Edwina, the other dentists and Support staff are friendly, professional & experienced. Also Chloe, the support dog, is very very cute and attentive. I would highly recommend them for any simple procedures and all extensive work. Personally the scope of the work I needed to be done was quite large, taking over a year to complete, and I was very happy and impressed with how it was handled from both a dental standpoint and how I was dealt with as a patient. I especially need to mention how well Edwina handled any complications and difficult situations. If you have to see a dentist you’ll be taken care of here and you will leave smiling (really).

Fantastic experience: Went to McMahons Point Dental at the beginning of 2023 for a check up and consequent three relatively straightforward fillings with Dr. Joyce. The clinic is spotlessly clean and well kept, and they even have a sweet little dog called Chloe who’ll keep you company and sit on your lap while you’re in the seat. Dr. Joyce’s and dental assistant Roxee’s professionalism is beyond compare, and both treated me with respect and kindness while treating me. Much thanks to the team at McMahons Point - would absolutely recommend them to anyone, particularly those who have anxiety when it comes to anything dental. Did I mention that there’s an adorable dog? And it sits on your lap! How good is that?!

Fantastic experience: I am new to Australia from the US and living in McMahons Point. I needed a new dental provider, and I was happy to come in to see the team at McMahons Point Dental! I had a warm welcome from Chloe, the local dental dog as well as Dr. Toulmin and her assistant Roxee. Chloe is so sweet and loving. The practice is state-of-the-art, and Dr. Toulmin took time to get to know my history as a patient and also lay out my options as well as costs. We had a lovely conversation. I really appreciated that being new as a patient, especially in a new country. I felt great after my cleaning, and there was a lot of laughter and banter as well that made the time pass. Fantastic experience: I usually just bounce around different dentists depending on where I'm living and what's available, but I can happily say this will be my new regular - even if I move! Joyce was clearly very knowledgeable and very quickly identified any issues with my teeth (current or possible to occur in the future). Fantastic experience: After a 6 (hmm) year hiatus between visits I was anxious about seeing the dentist for what was 'to come'. I shouldn't have been! I can't rate Edwina and the team highly enough. Gentle, kind, informative and highly professional. And in my case, a whole bunch of work with exceptionally less pain than my brain was expecting. Amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist, very kind and patient staff. I recently had all four wisdom teeth removed (ouch) and they took great care of me throughout, and afterwards. I am still on the mend, but was given great assistance in all that was to come and how to rest. Starting with my phone call to book the appointment, Amelia was so kind and helpful answering my questions as a new patient. Then coming into the practice I was impressed with how beautiful and modern the space is. They also had french music playing which I loved. Fantastic experience: Having moved to the area early 2020, I was searching online for a new dentist closer to home. I recently discovered Chloe, the dental therapy dog at McMahons Point Health. That won me over. You are greeted by Chloe in the waiting room, and she follows you into the surgery and sits in her bed in the corner. She even sat on my lap during each visit and treatments. Dr Edwina, Amelia and Vivian are all absolutely amazing at putting an anxious patient at ease. They are so, so friendly. Looking forward to the next visit in 6 months. After booking in with Edwina; both her and Annabelle provided me with tons of reassurance, and before and after care and the procedure was pretty much pain free. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist, but Edwina and the team made me extremely comfortable and helped me ensuring my newborn was comfy and happy during the whole appointment. Fantastic experience: Great dental visit! The staff was friendly and helpful and the in-chair experience was fantastic. As someone who's absolutely terrified of dental and doctor appointments, Dr. Toulmin went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and fully informed about the procdure I was having. She answered every single question I had with patience and made me feel genuinely care for. She was also very gently and the treatment was almost pain-free! I am proud to say that I have now overcome me fear of the dentist and will definitely be back for regular check ups. The chic set up of the practice is a bonus too!
