Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Whitehorse dental to absolutely anyone for all their dentistry needs. Dr.Annie was wonderful, informative, professional and kind. I left the appointment not only feeling that I received excellent treatment but also very informed and confident to able to weigh up the options and make the choices that felt right for me and my situation based on the information provided. I have been to a few dentists and this was by far the best experience I've had so if you're in the area and due for a check up, definitely head over!

Negative experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction by Dr.Kerry and it ended up to an infection and surgery at hospital which caused two weeks of pain and illness. I would have expected better aftercare despite calling and visiting the centre three times after my extraction due to severe pain and swelling. My GP was impressed when I visited her and sh prescribed Antibiotics straight away. Dr Kerry was only available once a week. I also should thank Dr.Annie for her support.

Fantastic experience: I had not visited a dentist in over 10 years as I had a horrible experience in my early 20’s however I knew that I needed to get some fillings done and saw good things about Whitehorse Dental. I had an appointment with Linda who was so understanding and did everything in her power to make me comfortable, not only that but the process was so much more comfortable and calm than anything I had experienced in the past. All the staff here are so amazing and they will follow up with you to ensure that everything feels okay a day or so after. If you have been putting off going to see a dentist or just are looking for somewhere new that is both understanding and caring I thank Whitehorse Dental enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Annie and the team were really great. They fixed up years worth of staining, were very thorough and made it a point to explain the entire process at every step of the way. My treatment has taken about 6 months in total and I'm extremely happy with the results. I'm due to move out of the area soon but I will definitely continue coming here.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental clinic I have been to. I was a little nervous, Dr Linda and her team made me feel comfortable. A professional and friendly, down to earth approach. They are thorough & gentle. The clinic is immaculate, they have single use hand towels in the bathrooms and phone charging facilities while you wait in reception. The way the staff speak to one another is excellent - respectful, polite and friendly. Since meeting Dr Linda I now go for regular check ups which is great! I don't live locally but its worth the drive. I am a very happy customer who recommends this clinic very highly.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing the ladies at Whitehorse Dental for about 4 years now. I saw Dr. Melissa and from the very start she was super friendly, professional and accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was looked after. I’ve also had many appointments with Dr. Linda who is just as amazing, both doctors will make sure that you leave with 100% confidence in your smile. Not only are the dentists amazing, but I’ve seen all the dental assistants and they are all extremely polite and accommodating making sure everything always runs smoothly and you are comfortable. Last but by no means least, they have the most friendly receptionist Kate, who is extremely organised, ensuring you are always reminded about appointments and is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met! I’ve had everything you can think of done, most recently I had some veneers put in and they absolutely look amazing, completely changed my smile. The process was extremely smooth and the Doctors did an amazing job, I couldn’t be more impressed. I’ve been going here for 4 years, and I’ll be going there for another 40. I brought my 7yo here for some dental work and the place is lovely looking, very child friendly and the staff are genuine and very knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist for 20 years. I had a terrible fear. I starting taking my kids to Dr Melissa around 5 or 6 years ago and finally found the courage to go and get an examination myself. Dr Melissa was amazing, she made me feel at ease from the minute I sat in the chair. She talked me through exactly what needed to be done and although I was terrified to have treatment, I went ahead as I trusted Dr Melissa. I have now had two crowns put on and it was painless and so much easier than I imagined. It was all due to the fact that Dr Melissa and her entire team made me feel safe and comfortable. Watching Schitts Creek through the entire procedure helped. Thank you Melissa, I am truely grateful for the care and time you took to set my mind at ease. I should mention we travel from Lysterfield to Blackburn to see Dr Melissa. I would not go or take my family anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency dental issue - root canal infection with agonising pain and complexity, which only Dr. Melissa recognised as emergency and treated accordingly with no delay. Prior to that, I had visited and contacted other clinics and specialists, but their availability to fix my problem was beyond reach. So I was desperately writing messages via various clinic websites. Then how incredible it was for me to receive a reply so promptly telling me to come in the next morning! I must share my experience with the public so they may not waste time looking for a good dental clinic /dentist and service elsewhere. Below is a little summary of what I got from Dr. Melissa and the Whithorse dental team. 1. Amazingly responsive dentist 2. Genuinely caring service from all staff 3. Fantastic experience: Dr. Annie has been amazing! I really appreciate the time and care she takes with assessing my teeth, explaining my options, and of course performing any necessary procedures. Starting with my first visit, where a very through checkup was performed, she was able to show me some issues that I was completely unaware of. The close-up photographs were a really helpful way to get this point across. Dr. Annie has done several crowns for me, and each procedure was done with precision and care. There are some very small things she does that make a big difference - for example, taking time with the Novocaine injections which makes them practically painless. I also brought my young child in for his first checkup. He has some sensory issues and she was incredibly thoughtful with her approach, making his appointment go much better than I anticipated. In general, I highly recommend Whitehorse Dental and am very glad I discovered it.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dentist clinic, they’re all so warm and welcoming, as well as cater to your own likes and dislikes. They are exceptionally good at fixing bad experiences at past dentists and making every visit here so easy! Dr Annie in particular is both so talented and has a very skilful eye for dentistry. Fantastic experience: My family had gradually all changed dentists and started going to Whitehorse Dental. They became so enthusiastic about the place that I began to wonder if it was a cult. Suddenly they were all keeping scheduled 6 months check ups which was not their usual approach to going to the dentist. I was constantly being told I should go there. That I would really like it. Again, I reminded them they were talking about a dentist Finally, my wife made an appointment for me after dragging me in as we walked past one day. It’s hard to admit it, but they are right. It looks like a dentist. It’s well equipped and the waiting room very modern and professional. It’s the people that are different. It’s wonderfully calm, relaxed and friendly, yet all within a super professional environment. And just as the marketer in me was cynically thinking this was a great way get me to be lulled into ongoing expensive visits, Melissa shows me photos of my teeth and explains that unless I want cosmetic work, there is really no need to do anything. Again my family had told me that they felt everything was explained really well and that if anything the dental team suggested that their previous dentist had potentially performed “optional” interventions. I don’t usually post recommendations but guess what - I’m already booked in for my 6 monthly check up ☺️ What’s that old saying…..if you can’t beat them, join them. Actions speak louder than words, and as of yesterday I am now a client of Whitehorse Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Whitehorse Dental Clinic. It was my first time and I had fillings done for my front teeth. I was looked after by Dr Annie who has been so gentle, kind and caring throughout. She has a high attention to detail and is very meticulous in her job. Negative experience: Went for normal dental checkup and was charged $100+ though I had full dental private cover. The administrator at the time asked me to get the rebate back from hcf but after going to hcf, hcf said its bright smile issue and asked me to check with the clinic. Went back to clinic and they said they know what's the issue is and will get back to me. Its been like 4 weeks now and have heard nothing back.

Fantastic experience: I had a sore tooth and was unable to find any dentists due to the recent lockdown. I found Whitehorse Dental o on the web and they accepted my booking the following day. What surprised me was the warm and welcoming experience when I stepped in the clinic. Dr Linda Hwang and her staffs were very professional and diligent in the whole process from the initial assessment to comleting the extraction and treatment. The cleaning was thorough without causing much pain. It was a great experience and I strongly recommend anyone to visit the clinic if you need any dental assistance.

Fantastic experience: After more than a decade,I took the punt and decided to switch dentists. I wanted to find a dentist that would take a bit more care to make the whole teeth and mouth thing more comfortable and less painful. I happened to stumble upon this place as I was grabbing lunch across the road. I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist named Kate and I didn't have to wait very long before I was called. Dr Linda, provided a comfortable clean, genuine dental advice to improve the health of my teeth as well as X-rays to double check that my wisdom teeth were still OK. Everything was simple and they also take private health insurance. Overall great experience, I'd be coming back for my regular cleans and I would definitely recommend coming here if you want that next level experience with your oral hygiene that you're not getting with your usual dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Melissa and her team were very thorough, understanding and great with kids. My son has needed substantial dental work done in his young life and I wish we had gone to Melissa sooner. Dr Melissa used SDF on my son's teeth which completely arrested the decay and I am so grateful, it has been really hard to find a dentist who actually prevented further damage and decay instead of using the monitor and wait approach that so many other dentists use for children's teeth, especially for the front 4 baby teeth. Seeing Dr Melissa sooner could have prevented needing previous extractions.

Fantastic experience: I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed today at Whitehorse Dental Blackburn. Dr Steven, assistant Katelyn and receptionist Kate were super friendly and understanding. Dr Steven checked every 10 or so minutes throughout the surgery to make sure I was comfortable, I don’t think the procedure could’ve went more smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I attended the clinic recently with holes on my front teeth that were discoloured and getting deeper over time. Melissa managed to fill the holes and matched my teeth colour perfectly. Now I can’t even see where they were after looking up close in the mirror. Very happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: After recently moving to Blackburn, I was looking for a new dentist and I was so happy that I made an appointment at Whitehorse Dental as their service has been exceptional. Fantastic experience: I was caught in a dilemma when my dentist of 20 years finally retired. after much procrastination I made the appointment to visit my son's dentist; Melissa Huang. As is always the case, a thorough check disclosed a number of issues that required extensive work to ensure long term protection and usage. I decided to invest time and funds to make good of my teeth as at my age, good teeth is essential to my limited enjoyments in life, namely food and good health. Eight crowns and one root canal treatment is a big project, especially when I am not too fond of sitting in the dental chair for long periods. I am glad I made the decision to entrust this project to Melissa. She is not fussed with time limitation but aim to get the job done, not just done; but perfectly done. I appreciate her patience, knowledge and experience, spending time to explain the procedures, to answer my question and to work to my level of tolerance. Furthermore, I noted the clinic has many up-to-date equipment, enabling effective dental work to be carried out. Aftercare is another additional service that I appreciate. The support staff are friendly and promptly relate my concern to Melissa if and when required. Fearful of visits to dentist as I am, I would never expect myself to say this: my experience at Whitehorse Dental has been positive and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I can not speak highly enough of this practice, i have always had a sever fear of dentists to the point of not going unless im in agony. I have now seen both Melissa and Allan and they have both been amazing and my fear of dentists is now gone. I had a tooth extracted last night and i barely felt the needle and my tooth was out with in 30 seconds. It was so easy and trauma free. Highly recommended if you have a fear of dentists. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency involved in the extraction, and the fact that again, the procedure was pain free. Today I returned to Whitehorse Dental for a check up and clean, and the results have been incredible. Overall, from reception to practice, Whitehorse Dental is truly a phenomenal choice for all your dental needs. Negative experience: I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero. Melissa Huang was to extract three teeth from my 12 year old daughter. Melissa Huang proceeded to drop the first extracted tooth down my daughters throat. Neither Melissa or her assistant helped to clean the blood and saliva from my daughters face. I did that. It took minutes for Melissa Huang to even tell me what was going on. We then spent the next 24 hours in hospital, while my daughter was rushed in to emergency surgery to establish the location of the tooth and making sure it was in my daughters lungs. Melissa Huang didn't bother to call us back to find out how my daughter was for more than 3 days. The appointment and it's consequences couldn't have been more terrible. The fact that it took more than 3 days for Melissa Huang to contact my family to see how her patient was is unforgivable.

Fantastic experience: Dr Melissa Huang was amazing with my two boys today.With my son having asd , She was understanding and considerate to his needs. Dr Melissa made him feel comfortable and safe to trust her.He didn't even feel the needle go in,She used a special technique for him. She explained everything to me when I ask questions, and even my son when he asked her a question and reasured him about his aftercare. The centre is very clean and comfortable.My 6 Year old was kept occupied, by colouring and blocks for ages.Due to his brother needing work done.

Fantastic experience: Dr Melissa Huang is very thorough and has a pleasant manner in doing her job. She is very professional yet empathetic and really explains what she'll do and why. I wish I had met her long before I unnecessarily lost too many teeth. She has helped me learn how to have much better oral health and I'm grateful for her outstanding work. I now enjoy eating which had been becoming an unenjoyable experience due to poor dental health. I'm glad I found her.

Fantastic experience: Dr Melissa Huang has been fantastic and is always looking for new and better options. The reception is also fantastic with providing reminders, calls and if you need to move it’s always a polite response. Friendly, informative, welcoming and caring environment. There is also a Mc D’s across the road if you didn’t need a filling and are trying to get one next visit or you need to find out your teeth are sensitive with a 50c cone.

Dr Melissa Huang is patient and extremely thorough in her work. She keeps me informed about what she is doing so I know what to expect, and will check that I'm comfortable during procedures. I know that if I have a question or concern, she'll be ready to take the time to listen and talk it through with me or investigate it, which I greatly appreciate and value a lot. Trust and communication is super important to me with my dentist and I always feel like I'm in the best of hands with Melissa. I've been so impressed and happy with how well I've been looked after, now my partner and his mum go there too!

Fantastic experience: The clinic is very nice and friendly. The dentist is very thorough with teeth cleaning and provided excellent advice to keep my teeth healthy. She is very accommodating as last week I had an old filling fall out and was happy to see me first thing the next morning to patch it up. Not to mention there is an abundance of carparking opposite the clinic at woollies

Fantastic experience: Dr. Huang provides a quality of patient care above and beyond any of the dentists I've seen. I've followed her throughout her dental career in different clinics because she's a medical professional I can trust. Her treating style is more preventative rather than reactive so she really gets you to take responsibility for the health of your teeth in between checkups.

Fantastic experience: If you come at a quiet time during the week, the dentist will take more time to look after you, make sure they do a quality job and that your're comfortable. In a time where medical practitioners try to rush people through the door, this is a refreshing change of pace.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say : Dr Melissa saved my severe cracked tooth successfully which I can use that tooth to chew the food. She introduced me a new technology by inserting stainless steel inside my cracked tooth to increase the chance of survival. Also, I learnt how to do good hygiene by using her method which no any Hong Kong dentists to teach me. I love her strategy about prevention program better to reserve teeth further decay. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been going to Melissa for our dental checkups since Whitehorse Dental started. We have always appreciated her friendly service and excellent advice. We now have 2 kids who have both had their first dentist experiences with no complaints and no crying - a credit to Melissa's manner with children (and the huge TV screen on the ceiling!). Fantastic experience: To someone like me who is scared and anxious about going to dentist but it change everything when my husband bring me to this dental clinic. Imagine I'll be having a root canal treatment and I've heard alot of bad things about this treatment that it's very painful but guess what ? I didn't feel anything at all and I already had 2 root canal . All the staff is very friendly specially Dra Melissa she really do care about the patient well being and she give nice advice how I could take care my teeth now we are regular customer going back twice a year for cleaning and other appointments if some of our teeth need cleaning . Worth the money

Fantastic experience: 最近因为牙痛和牙周病的问题去了四次这家诊所，体验满分。首先是第一感觉很赞，整洁温暖的等候室和诊疗室，然后初次问诊的病人还会让你填写喜爱的歌手，治疗时会播放相关歌曲，我瞄了一眼音响是Sonos的，讲道理细节讲究到这个程度是真的很用心也很认真了。治疗前会仔细询问你的症状，并且将可能的治疗方法和相关费用明确清楚，Melissa 和 Pei两人都可以中文沟通，毫无障碍。四次的各种治疗都几乎没有什么疼痛，并且治疗过程中医生会询问痛不痛。目前我的牙龈已经从当初第一次的肿胀和颜色加深开始慢慢变淡，变正常。真的很感谢两位认真专业仔细的工作态度，希望大家都有一口好牙！（已经推荐老婆大人也来这家诊所看牙了~）

Fantastic experience: From the receptionist to the dental assistant to the dentist, most professional dental team I’ve ever met! Today was my 6 year old son‘s first visit. Dr. Melissa found a decay in one of his teeth and did a filling straight away. During the whole procedure (anesthetic+rubber raincoat) my little boy just enjoyed watching “ABC for kids”! He was so relaxed and was not terrified at all ! Thanks to the great experience. I think we have found the DENTIST in life :)

Fantastic experience: If only I'd found this clinic sooner!! Mel was so patient and considerate. I had slight pain but it was inconsistent so I thought it was going to be hard to diagnose. Instead, Mel just patiently asked questions and did a thorough examination. Once diagnosed she took me through what the issue was, the longer term prognosis and the necessary treatment. I have never been to a dentist who is this considerate and cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity and that there are diligent people who take pride in their work!!
