Negative experience: Very unhappy. Due to administrative errors of DB Dental my treatment was not covered by BUPA. A mistake can happen, but DB Dental Craigie is taking no action to get it resolved. My usual dentist Dr R. was no longer available at Craigie, hence I was recommended to go Dr H. I was happy with the treatment of my new dentist  but not with the fact that I wasn't told that the treatment wouldn't be covered under BUPA. After multiple emails I was finally called that they would sort out the paperwork with BUPA and that I would get a call once sorted. Months later I'm still waiting and I don’t get any response to emails. Very poor communication.

Fantastic experience: Dentist Dr Esther was very kind to look into my jawbone that had beening very sore underneath the edge. Dr Esther spent a while to check all around my teeth and gums with no problem. I agreed to an xray but nothing showed up. Dentist suggested to se local Dr.

Fantastic experience: I went for a normal check up, scale, clean and polish. Andre , a senior dentist did the job. It was really good service. Andre has a calm, courteous manner and put me at ease. While it was being done he asked me if I was doing OK , which was nice of him. He worked efficiently and the dental nurse who helped had a lovely manner too, and they worked well together. I also find the reception staff are always helpful and professional . Other positives about this dentist -- plenty of parking, a shopping centre opposite for convenience, and reasonable fee, not over-priced.

Fantastic experience: Professional, courteous and thorough.

Negative experience: Myself and my partner had dental checks about 6 months ago, referred by our health insurer as one of their member network dentists. He ended up needing quite a few fillings which were done on a few seperate days not long after. Immediately following one of the appointments he developed pain in one of the fillings which was significantly impacting his ability to eat. He persevered for a couple of weeks hoping it was normal pain following a filling but we ended up calling them and asking them to review. He went in the following day and was booked with a different dentist, told they needed to grind down the filling to get it to fit, and then we were charged to fix their error. He voiced his disappointment for being charged on the day and was told the different dentist they booked him with to check the filling causing him pain doesn’t cover our health fund, despite being a member dentist practice. We hoped that would be the end of it but unfortunately the pain has continued for months and he can no longer eat on the left side of his mouth at all Suffice to say we will need to book him into another practice that knows what they’re doing to try resolve this. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Terrible, terrible experience. Given a referal by a family member, I thought I'd give it a go. Knowing I needed 2 fillings from a previous health plan, I booked a "general check up & fillings" appointment on their website and informed the dentist when I got there that that was what I was there for -fillings. After a clean and fluoride treatment (I think? He didn't explain any of it) where he cut my lip open with the cleaning drill. He then informed me that he now didn't have time to do any fillings...what? He then rushed me out, charged me nearly $300 for the appointment and told me to come back again! So there I am in reception, asking the receptionist why the bill is so high whilst trying to stop my lip from bleeding and the dentist walks out of the surgery to the IGA across the road. Unbelievably bad experience. Contacted the owner however no response.

Negative experience: I arrived at DB Dental this morning for my appointment that was made at least 4 months ago. Only to be told "we cancelled your appointment and 'tried' to text you". The only text I received was from DB Dental nearly 2 weeks prior to my appointment, confirming my appointment time and date. I'm absolutely furious for I cancelled my work this morning, as a carer, to make sure I could be at my dentist appointment. And the response I got from the lady at the front desk, when I said "maybe you guys should call and talk to someone when you have cancelled their appointment" was "I didn't send the text!" I'm taking my business elsewhere and I'm furious with what they have done and their non apology. Disgusting. Would give zero stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: I phoned on Monday with bad wisdom toothache. I was offered an appointment Tuesday which I really could not manage offered another appointment on Wednesday 9.30 with my preferred dentist Andre. After an X-ray he said the tooth would have to come out he then spoke to Hossein who said he could do the extraction at 10.45. Relatively painless procedure (not nice of course) l have had a lot worse. I left at 11.15, less than two hours for the whole procedure. I received a call from the office three days later asking how I was and if everything was okay.

Fantastic experience: I was in a lot of pain and needed immediate attention. DB Dental Craigie fit me in even though they were very busy. Great service!

Negative experience: * The young lady in the reception was rude. * Dr Roslind George did not clean my teeth 100% and told me that I need to book again after few months, because my teeth need more work She spent only 25 minutes that’s included checking, taking some photos and cleaning !!! They are just after the money especially when they know your insurance gonna pay!!! Not recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Dr Jeremy Booth for the past four years and he’s just wonderful. He’s gentle, patient and incredibly caring and passionate about what he does. He takes the time to explain procedures (often with awesome illustrations!) and takes real pride in his work - which is great when it’s maintaining my smile - which he often does mid-check up with his cheeky British sense of humour! He always goes above and beyond to ask how my work is going and it amazes me how he remembers conversations between my six monthly check ups. My mom suffers with really complex dental issues and as a result has always been terrified of the dentist - however once I introduced her to Jeremy, she’s never looked back and is also a regular patient of his. Jeremy genuinely cares. So if you’re considering visiting him - take my word for it and do it! He's brilliant! :)

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing eye for detail, perfect work and professionalism of Dr Prashil Parek. Dr Parek recently completed some dental work on my 14 year old daughter which took several sessions of precision work. He worked meticulously and my daughter is incredibly happy with the results. Dr Parek had a beautiful approach with my daughter constantly letting her know what was happening and checking she was ok throughout the process. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Parek as the best dentist we have ever had!

Negative experience: I've visited this facility today (01.05.2021) for a dental consultation for my son . He is suffering from a small protrusion in his mouth . The dentist, Prashil Parekh, asked about the problem and we informed him about it . After half an hour, we received an invoice of $320 for examination, cleaning, x-rays, topical agent etc. None of them we were looking for. Finally he told us to visit a specialist and consult about the protrusion. So, we spent the money and time for just to get a referral to a specialist. Is it ethical practice? Also the receptionist told us that the Medicare won't cover any of the treatment and we have to pay for it. Luckily we had private health care and it covered the cost. Come on guys build some conscience. Money is not everything, show some human aspect of being doctor.

Fantastic experience: I'm very nervous about Dental care. From the moment I walked into the clinic I felt relaxed and welcome. The dentist was very friendly and gentle. Definitely recommended them. It's changed my outlook on going to the dentist. I'll be a regular from now on. Thanks very much crew.

Fantastic experience: I have to say at the tender age of 55 I’m petrified of going to the dentist, so I don’t go unless I have to. A few weeks ago my jaw was so painful that it was one of those times I had to go. I’d never been to Craigie DB before, but recently moved into the area I thought I’d try there. Before I’d sat in the chair, I’d already teared up. But the really soft spoken dentist Prashil Parekh made me feel so safe, that it was easy to relax. He explained everything giving me all the options. Such a beautiful kind dentist. If you’re a nervous patient like me, he is the dentist to go see.

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend. I have been attending DB Dental in Craigie for about a year now, a Medibank Choice Advantage Practice and usually see Dr Prashil Parekh. He has carried out general dentistry work and 6 monthly cleans on my teeth plus offering advice on some issues I have with some older dental work. Initially I was nervous about trying out a new dentist, however I found Dr Parekh to be patient, gentle and working in a very professional manner. The staff at the practice are always very pleasant and I will certainly be returning to have further work carried out as required. Thanks to you all

Fantastic experience: I was long overdue for a dental check up and paid nothing as my visit was covered under my Medibank extras cover. Very friendly practice. Roslind George attended to cleaning and polishing my teeth, giving advice about not using whitening toothpaste and information about a tooth that might cause me problems and what to look out for. She was very nice, efficient and the task was quickly done.
