Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today and I have never felt so relieved to be in such capable hands. I’ve had more than 15 years of what I can only describe as torture by dentists and periodontists who cannot think outside the box and can only treat you according to their indoctrination. Everyone from reception to the consultation was amazing. Dr Terry and his staff are a breath of fresh air and for the first time in my life I’m actually looking forward to going back. I didn’t have to beg for a cone beam scan and to boot I didn’t even have to go anywhere to have it done! Images were taken and explained in detail by Dr Terry during my appointment. So many options available to help heal like ozone water, laser, PRF and they have a holistic approach which is rare in dentistry in Australia. So glad I found you. You deserve more than 5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: I went in today for what turned out to be a pretty complex extraction, and I’m really not great with the dentist to begin with so it was daunting to say the least. The second I walked in the door I was taken to the chair, operated on and was out within 30 minutes. They really don’t waste any time, and everyone that works here is very friendly and a lot of fun. They clearly enjoy what they do and they’re very, very good at it, as you will see from the results you get as a patient! I’m new to the area and I know now exactly who will be my new dental practice for the foreseeable future. Thank you for taking such good care of me Smile In Style!!

Fantastic experience: Hi - l had a hygienist appt at Smile In Style yesterday the 24th of January, 24 with Jesse. Jesse did an exceptional job on cleaning my teeth. She was very thorough & it was the longest clean l have ever had. I have been seeing Peridontists for several years & Jesse carried out a much better clean than l have ever received from them. Jesse was also very educational, she spent time informing & showing me how to look after my teeth correctly. I was very impressed with the service l received from her. Fantastic experience: I’m not the most relaxed patient when visiting a Dentist, and in fact have put off visiting for a number of years. I was forced to attend recently due to a run in with a Fantail sweet where my tooth sadly came of second best. I must say the team at Smile In Style and dentist Helen Luo made the experience very relaxing and a super simple process. A big thank you everyone… I now have the confidence to come back

Positive experience: Hygienist was really good but didn’t appreciate being charged 215 after a written quote of 175. Would have still been happy if it had of been “It took longer than expected” but told “oh she must have done some education stuff is just bullocks” Plenty of other dentists around

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for 20 years and holy guac have we shared some beautiful memories. From teeth extractions, to braces x 2, to the consistent but gentle reminder to floss—this is a safe and grounding place that will care for you and your chompers throughout the years. I doubt I'll need it under their care, but bring on the dentures.

Positive experience: Dentistry with a twist. Dud not know there were "wholistic" dentists. So refreshing to be dealing with friendly people who are willing to explain the "why" things are they way they are and what the different cause and effects could be emanating from. Not as in - go to dentist, do root canal, tooth still hurts, try something else....... No! Terry explains everything first, then looks at all the different possibilities as to the cause and then looks at the best possible method/methods to fix the issue. Love being able to make informed choices. Highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: I recommend this practice as my whole experience with these people was very pleasing. Firstly, Robin welcomed me warmly, and then Renata the Hygenist attended to my specific dental needs thoroughly, with warmth and enthusiasm. I feel empowered to take better care of my gums, and hopeful of not loosing a tooth that I’ve been very concerned about. Renata and I are passionate about wholistic health, so I’m very thankful to have finally found her.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best clean I’ve ever had, twice in a row now.. Also, they replace mercury amalgam fillings with non toxic stuff for no more cost than it would be to replace any other kind of filling. If you had told me ten years ago I would *enjoy* going to the dentist like I do now, I wouldn’t have believed you. I have a bunch of health problems and I can definitely feel a positive difference now my teeth are cleaned regularly, (and there’s no more mercury) and it’s motivated me to start flossing for the first time ever and generally being more diligent about dental care at home because I wanted to keep the feeling going and it’s worked. If like me you hadn’t been in years and feel your mouth is gross because of it, don’t worry, they’re great with people who haven’t been in a while or have questionable dental hygiene/practices. If you’ve let things slide for years, it’s so nice to have a really clean mouth again. Highly recommend Jess, she’s SO thorough. Thanks Jess!

Fantastic experience: As a new family visiting Smile in Style we were all a little nervous after not visiting any dentists across Covid. My 6.5 year old was made to feel extremely comfortable and was at ease very quickly. The staff (dentists, hygienists and reception) are extremely friendly, accommodating and supportive of young families, offering me help with my 8 month old while I chatted to the dentist and got X-rays myself. After 3 visits in the past 2 weeks we are more than impressed with how thorough, compassionate and caring everyone has been. We will continue to visit despite not living locally for the wonderful experience and trusted advice. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We’ve seen Renata twice now for post frenuloplasty myofunctional therapy for my 6 year old son and will return for dental hygiene. She is great with kids, knowledgeable and the practice follows covid safe cleaning practices, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Smile in Style's Sunbury practice care about my dental journey. This level of care is something I've never had throughout my visiting many dental practices. Dentistry _is_ my dentist's vocation, and this is very important to me. My first experience included a tailored dental profile that assisted in setting out my ongoing dental strategy. This act alone gave me confidence that my dentist had interest in my current and future dental health. Not to mention, the onsite dental hygienist, who has given my family and me invaluable education in dental hygiene. We have since had fantastic dental health.

My family have been going to Smile in Style for more than 10 years now and have had pretty every service ranging from fillings, tooth extractions, cerec implants, crowns and braces. No complaints or issues ever. The dental assistants and admin staff are also super friendly and are always very helpful. Highly recommend Smile In Style dental practice.

Negative experience: Although I'd like to let my emotions write this review for the sake of clarity I will keep it strictly to facts. I had the displeasure of attending Smile in Style Sunbury some time ago with a hole in one of my molar's. I was told they would attempt to fill the hole and save the tooth. It took the dentist no less than 7 attempts at deadening my nerve via injections. Once she had finally injected the nerve with sufficient accuracy the procedure began. I was told it may work or it may not, if not my options would be to either have a root canal done or extraction of the damaged tooth. Fast forward two weeks after enduring constant nerve pain some of which was most likely caused by the marble sized haematoma I had possibly due to the excessive injections, I rang Smile in Style asking for an appointment to have the tooth extracted. I was asked if I'd prefer a root canal to which I declined, an appointment was scheduled for 3 days time as the dentist who'd performed the original procedure wouldn't be available until then. Despite the pain I conceded I had to wait, on the morning of my appointment I was contacted by the receptionist at Smile In Style to be informed with zero concern that the Dentist in question didn't feel confident she would be able to extract my tooth and suggested I make an appointment with a dental hospital to have the procedure done. I was in shock, not only that she didn't feel she was competent enough to extract a tooth but that even knowing how much pain I was in she had decided to let me wait an extra 3 days to tell inform me of this. I couldn't wait any longer, the pain was so distracting that I'd already lost several days of work and I needed it attended to asap. I informed the receptionist at Smile In style of my disgust and requested my X-Rays be ready for me to collect immediately. I straight away contacted another local dentist who despite having no free appointments could hear I was in pain and offered to extract my tooth during his lunch break. I attended this fine HOUSE of dentistry where I was treated with the utmost of care and professionalism, the Dentist injected my nerve and deadened it with one shot, the tooth was extracted with zero pain or discomfort and I was home resting 30mins later. I'm not in the habit of writing reviews but I feel strongly that this experience needs to be told.
