The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Dr Chris was outstanding—he took the time to explain every step of the process clearly and transparently, which really put both me and my son at ease. It’s rare to find such a thoughtful and thorough approach, and it made the whole visit stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a caring and professional dental team!

Fantastic experience: Today, I can finally eat on my right side. Yesterday, Chris completed a very complex procedure to save a major infection in a molar which began a few weeks ago. Root canal completed, filling in place and Danielle did a superlative clean and fluoride treatment. So I am ready to face the world again. Most impressive for me is how gently Chris operates and how painfree the process was. Thanks Chris and Danielle. You are the best.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience I've ever had!!! Had crooked teeth my whole life so been to a few and this was by far the most pleasant experience . Finally found a place to get all my work done. Chris is very gentle and professional and usually I would tolerate a bit of pain with dental work but this visit caused no pain or anxiety what so ever. His needles are thinner and more gentle then any needle I've received with dental work. And the moment I looked uncomfortable, Chris would make sure I was okay and could continue. 11/10 Highly Recommend

Fantastic experience: I would t trust any other Dentist! Chris is amazing and as I have really bad anxiety around dentists, he always goes above and beyond to calm my nerves and give options so I always feel comfortable. He always has dental assistants that always make me Feel calm and relaxed. They use great option such as stress toys, tv, music to try and distract me. I usually walk in super anxious and close to tears and walk out smiling. The receptionists are always caring and understanding and really welcoming. We also don’t have any private health cover and I never feel like we break the bank when we need work done.

Negative experience: A while back he said I had 2.cracked teeth and needed crowns. Went elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and was not the case. 5 years later still no problems. My son went the and he wanted to remove 4 teeth for braces etc. 3 years later my sons teeth are perfect as he hadn't stopped growing. Watch out for this guy he loves expensive procedures so he can keep extending his building

Fantastic experience: Smile Central is the first dental practice my husband and I visited since we moved to Queensland 15 years ago. We have had crowns, fillings, bridges, root canals and each and every time Chris made sure we were always comfortable. Cleanings were always done by caring people. My teeth are quite sensitive and they make sure it's as painless as possible. You are always greeted with a smile as soon as you get in. Place has gone through a lot of changes and everything is quite modern. There is no need to be scared of going to the dentist if you see Chris and his team .

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Smile Central for quite a while over a decade now. I will not go anywhere else for dental work. Dental procedures require a certain kind of doctor, and I can assure you that Doctor Chris is by far the kindest, most patient, and understanding dentist I have ever met. Since childhood I have had a terrible fear of dentists. Dr Chris and every single one of the staff at Smile Central have perfected the practitioner/patient relationship in every single way. I recommend Smile Central Aspley to anyone needing dental work done. I drive an hour each way now to go to see Chris and the lovely staff here. I recommend him to my family, friends, and colleagues. Trust me when I tell you that you’ll never be disappointed with a visit here. I know because I never have.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. If you are looking for a stress free experience at the dentist and if you are looking for a dentist who is friendly, patient and caring but more importantly, extremely efficient, skilled, thorough and precise you have to go here. Dr Chris Lauf handled my debilitating phobia of dental work like a pro and I'm sure he cured the biggest part of it. I found him on Google after a long search for a dentist who ticked all my boxes and went there yesterday to have a massive cavity filled. He was incredibly patient, worked very carefully and explained what he did every step of the way. He is a dentist who is on top of and trained in the latest technology in dentistry which speaks of a real passion for what he does. This was evident in his attitude throughout the procedure. Another dentist told me that he will have to remove the tooth. Dr Lauf did not even mention removing the tooth. He used a wand, which means no injection to numb the nerves in the tooth. It is a computerized anesthetic device. I hardly felt it. Then he cleaned the cavity with a laser. This was so surprising. When someone has a dentist phobia they are acutely aware of every sensation, sound, smell etc. The only sensation I experienced was the feeling of water splashing in my mouth and I could hear the clicking sound of the laser. Thats it. No drilling no noise no pain. He filled my tooth and it is perfect. He warned that the tooth might be sensitive for a bit, but not even that. Feels like a normal tooth. Highly, highly recommend. I am going back there asap to have all my teeth checked and cleaned. I just have to mention his rooms and staff as well. The girls who works with him are all super friendly. They made me feel at ease. The rooms are immaculate and so fresh and clean. Their care for patients are evident the moment you walk in. Attention to small detail, like a coffee machine in the waiting area and a fridge with drinks. The back of their patient history form is dedicated to understanding you past experiences with dentists and asking how they can make this experience more comfortable for you. Again a lot of attention to detail and patient care. What I love the most about this practice is Dr Lauf's passion for technology and being up to date with the latest in dentistry. He is everything you want in a dentist. I declined his offer to run a Netflix movie of my choice on the large screen on the ceiling or the offer to play my favorite music while in the chair. I focused on the procedure which was incredibly gentle. No reason to fear the dentist anymore. The search is over. I have found my dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency when I chipped my tooth, and Smile Central was able to get me in to be seen that same afternoon to get my tooth fixed. I am very anxious about dental procedures and Dr. Chris was incredibly reassuring and patient with me. He was so attentive to all of my anxious questions and I felt very comfortable and relaxed in his care. Dr. Chris fixed my tooth very quickly and did a fantastic job. He also uses a special dental wand which meant that I didn’t even feel the anaesthetic injection! Which is so wonderful for needle phobics like myself. I would highly recommend Smile Central to anyone. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I went to smile central to get some help with Trigeminal Neuralgia. They didn’t promise it would help, but they were willing to try to help alleviate my incredible pain and ease my reliance on some horrible medication. Using t-scan technology and occlusion analysis, Smile Central we’re able to help me 100% recover from Trigeminal neuralgia. I have been off my medication for a year now. I have my life back! I really recommend I’m giving it a try if you are suffering similar.

Fantastic experience: It was great to have a crown procedure done from start to finish in one sitting with onsite crown manufacture. Chris and his staff emanate a very positive vibe and are clearly passionate about dentistry with the latest in tech. In was refreshing to get to the appointment on time and be taken through without the typical delays common in the medical industry. My introduction to this practice was about a month before this procedure for a check up which was very thorough from full onsite facial X-ray to dental hygiene review displayed on a large TV during discussion. My wife followed on later and Chris was the first dentist to look beyond the teeth and comment on jaw, muscle fatigue, headaches, etc as part of a wholistic approach. We’ll be back!

Fantastic experience: I had been avoiding a dental visit for years now but after a tooth ache I did a quick search in my area and picked this place. So happy my random selection was successful as Chris found the issue straight away and was able to help me out there and then. It was quick, easy and virtually painless! Even got to watch some Netflix while Chris did his thing which made it easier to relax. Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend this dentist :) I've gone here for two checkups and to have two fillings done. The staff are all lovely and it has a friendly, calm atmosphere. With the help of these guys, my tooth sensitivity has cleared up in under 2 months. Dr Chris was great doing my fillings - he explained everything clearly, and checked often to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure.
