Fantastic experience: Recently visited bupa dental isle of capri as a new patient for a check up and clean and was completely amazed by every single team member from Marie at reception to my dentist Jonathan Mapfumo and his assistant (sorry I can’t remember everybody’s names!). My experience was positive and comfortable. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I have to give this place 5 stars the whole team is super friendly try to make you very comfortable while looking after your health. Mel is warm and friendly which helps relax you. Dr Darshana did an amazing job with remove my upper teeth. Rhaina at the front desk was very friendly, and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental check-up with Dr. Chandima today and was really impressed by her thoroughness and care. She spotted things that weren’t visible in the X-rays and guided me through the whole process in a way that truly helped calm my nerves—something I really appreciate as dental visits usually make me anxious. I’ll definitely return to her for any future dental needs. She’s excellent!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service in all areas of the practice. Comfortable environment, dental technicians go to great lengths to make sure you are comfortable. The dental work undertaken is highly professional and truly as good as it can get.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I had outstanding experience with Dr Indiketiya Darshana. He glued two low front tooth to the other ones. So I can enjoy full set of my tooth. Also all other dental procedures were conducted on high professional level with low budget, considering I'm a Bupa member.

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist was always pushing me for extra work which after seven years proved not to be necessary in my circumstances. They also seem to overcharge. I am so happy I found Bupa Dental Capri as the professional services are excellent and I've every confidence in Dr. Darshana who was able to make me feel relaxed and as one who is terrified to go to the dentist, for the first time I felt this was not an ordeal.

Negative experience: It was an absolute terrible experience. I have never written a google review, but this was a shocking experience for me. I don't think this dentist would even care about this review, but I just wanna help people and community not falling in this awful service. I went to this clinic for recementing the filling, and the recemented filling came off numerous times in a very short period. I also complained of uneven feelings at the end of the recementing procedure, even after numerous attempts of bite tests. I told him that I was really worried if it may affects my overall dental/oral health or if it may come off again. BUT, he guaranteed that it won't be coming off any time soon, like so confidently. So what can I do? The great Dr said I don't need to worry about it. And plus, I heard so many sighs with frustration whenever I said "it feels still high on this side", so I felt sorry if I make him to do a lot of work. So, okay okay, if you say this will be fine, I trust you. I was kinda pushed to believe his words. But guess what, it came off again in three months. What Dr Darshana said, he was not sure what glue was suitable for the filling when I revisited. So he said he's gonna use the different type of glue, but that came off again too. Furthermore, I noticed that he made an error in my document as well. The recemented tooth number was 37, but he documented as 36. So, when it came off again and when I revisited, he said "This is a different tooth." So he sounded like it was not his fault. However, luckily I had taken the photo of the tooth myself when the filling firstly came off, so I showed that to him. So, he admitted that he documented wrong and changed the number 36 to 37. He promised that he can do that for free if it comes off again and assured me that it will be okay at least 1 year. I thought he was a really good dentist till then. But when I tried to rebook as it came off again, what they say was they are not responsible for the recementing, so they will charge me for the examination fee. They tried to dispute and fight against me by mentioning lots of laws and legal stuffs that I do not even know or care when I tried to explain my harsh budget situation and what conversation was going through last time between me and the Dr. in the treatment room, like "Dr promised me to do it for free..." etc. In the end, they banned me from the clinic as I asked too many questions and being so needy. I even tried to enquire different treatment options and the different dentist if the Dr Darshana was not comfortable to see me. But they reacted emotionally, not professionally. No cooperation. They are like "we are not responsible for this, we will charge you the fee, do you still want to keep the booking or no" like... 'say YES OR NO... I don't wanna hear what happened to you, I don't care' Human can make mistakes, but when you don't correct the mistakes and blame it to somewhere, it is no good. It felt like I was in the experiment or something as the recemented filling came off so quickly and often... like, "let's try this glue for this time, and if it fails, let's try this next, and next this ...." what are you doing... I am not a rat for an experiment. You wanna charge me with that experiment? every time it comes off? nah... if he was not sure about the glue or if he did not want to take a responsibility of something he was not sure of, he shouldn't have touched it and should have admitted that this isn't something he is familiar. So people, be careful of going this clinic. Especially when they guarantee of something. In the end they will say that no one can guarantee of good results and blame it to you. I would go somewhere don't just guarantee or gives false hope, but somewhere take responsibility and admit their mistakes, somewhere more have empathy, somewhere don't just do their works, but also understands customers.

Negative experience: No good service

Fantastic experience: I chose Bupa Capri because of Dr Nilly. She is the best dentist I have ever had. She is a great professional and very caring. As a matter of fact, a dear friend recommended Dr Nilly to me knowing how anxious I get every time I need to go to the dentist’s. After having been her patient for about a year and a half, I cannot recommend Dr Nilly enough. Very nice Reception staff as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nilly is hands down the best dentist we have ever had. She has been looking after us for many years now and she takes the time to explain all the procedures and takes such care in all she does each time we visit. She is kind and personable and the main reason we have decided to keep going to Bupa dental / keep our Bupa insurance. Every person we have referred to Dr Nilly has the same amazing things to say. We will keep going to see Dr Nilly for many years to come.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nilly has been our family dentist for many years. She is a stand-out dentist and just a genuinely beautiful and caring person. She always makes you feel relaxed and listened to. She always explains any procedure in detail and regularly checks in to see how you are going. She is gentle, thorough and very professional. Our kids look forward to their check ups with Dr Nilly. We can't recommend Dr Nilly enough!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nilli is just wonderful. She is always so gentle and fully explains the process needed and goes out of her way to put you at ease. She has a lovely genuine caring nature and always greets me by name and with a big smile. Dr Nilli is the best dentist I have ever had and I use Bupa clinic because of how experienced and caring she is.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Bupa Dental, despite being in severe pain and needing an emergency appointment. Dr Mitra and Laura were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to help me, making sure I was comfortable and well cared for. They promptly coordinated the next steps with a specialist, ensuring a seamless process. I also want to highlight how kind and friendly the reception team was, making a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend Bupa Dental for their outstanding care and service.

Fantastic experience: Was recently on holiday on the Gold Coast and had a very loose front tooth. Was easily able to book an online appointment on the Sunday to see Dr Chandima Indiketiya first thing Monday morning. Dr Chandima was so kind and caring as I was quite stressed and was able to put a splint in to protect the tooth until I could return to Melbourne. All the staff were lovely. Attended my dentist today in Melbourne who was amazed at what a fantastic job Dr Chandima did - even commented that it is one of the best she has seen. Thank you so much for not only saving my tooth but also my holiday. Added bonus being a BUPA member it didnt cost me a cent out of pocket. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have had the most amazing dental work done by Dr. Mitra… After having ridiculously priced quotes from another dentist for the replacement of old fillings in my front teeth Dr.Mitra has done the teeth so beautifully… Being a BUPA client has meant the cost was minimal… Both Dr.Mitra & her assistant worked so tirelessly & meticulously & yet I was so relaxed during the lengthy procedure… I am in awe of her skills as I feel so much better about my wide smile.. Positive experience: My hygienist was constantly pushing for me to get certain procedures when they are strictly preference based. The cleaning hurt SO BAD! I have never had a general cleaning hurt before and my front lower teeth are now sensitive when they never have been before. The electric tool to clean my teeth was awful and I am glad I will be returning to America for my dental needs. The dentist should not hurt. I love the dentist but not here in AU.

Fantastic experience: My both boys have seen Dr. Mitra for their dental check and some filling. She is beyond fantastic, she is lovely friendly and so patient with the kids. Always smiling and the best dentist i have seen in the Coast . My 8 years old son had 3 fillings in one day and when he came out of the dentist he was smiling and said mummy i love my doctor, she is so nice .( i really thought he be angry crying and grumpy when he is done) . Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth. Managed to get in within 4 days. Staff extremely friendly and professional. The experience I had was the best ever. My face did not get numb and the whole procedure was not painful at all. I have already recommended them to others and cannot speak highly enough of Dr Darshana and the team.

Not only does Nilly keep you calm, she is such a gentle dentist, explaining what she is doing along the way. I am also very impressed with Nillys knowledge and very competent if any paperwork is required for a procedure. Nilly is my children and grandchildren’s dentist too, and I have no hesitation in recommending Nilly to anyone. Fantastic experience: Wisdom teeth extraction made easy by Dr. Dahal I’ve recently had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Upesh Dahal at Bupa Dental Capri. Dr Dahal explained each process and kept me talking throughout the procedure while constantly checking my well-being in between to ensure i am comfortable. Fantastic experience: Ok, I need to complain to you guys being so so lovely - that might be why so hard to book with you. ☺️ Not like other kids in my child’s class, my daughter loves to go to dentist - she was heartbroken when things all chaotic during the middle of Covid so we needed to reschedule the appointment. And Dr. Mitra - never seen such a lovely dentist in my life. Absolutely fantastic bedside manner and good skills (don’t have to mention). Fantastic experience: I used to be really scared of going to the dentist's. Now, I have been with Bupa Dental Capri for two years, and it's been great. Dr Nilly Rahimi has changed my mind about what a dentist's appointment should be like: it is never about pain, but always about care. Dr Nilly Rahimi is very gentle, extremely knowledgeable. I really appreciate the fact that she always talks me through any procedure because it helps me understand what is happening which calms me down. The nursing staff is extremely helpful and always there to cheer you up. The reception staff is outstandingly efficient and friendly. I have recommended the clinic to my mother-in-law, and she loves it, too. And I will not tire of recommending it to anyone! ❤️

Fantastic experience: My experience with Bupa dental Capri has been fantastic. I had 5 procedures with Dr Darshana, which were all performed efficiently and skilfully. He always explained everything and made me feel very relaxed and reassured. Dr Darshana and the nurse (whose name has slipped my mind) were also extremely friendly and would happily answer any questions I had. Reception staff are also exceptionally friendly and helpful and my appointments were always on time! I am so grateful for Dr Darshana and the nurse and I can’t recommend this practice enough. :)

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to visit Dr. Indiketiya Darshana recently for complete check on my teeth. I had 5 teeth that required fillings. Dr. Indiketiya in my opinion, he is the best dentist I had in 20 years -Highly skilled and professional. Furthermore, the techniques and technologies at the clinic are absolutely 5 stars. Even when I was under anaesthetic, I did not feel any pain... I think both Dr Indeketiya & the team at the clinic are the golden standard of the Gold Coast. I am a Dr myself, I have just relocated from the Eastern Suburbs in Sydney, and you rarely see this type of care for patients. Well Done !
